Nic had made it her unofficial job to pick out any 'problems'. Basically, anyone who might be listening in. However, Nic had to smile at Auburn's excitement. The girl was infectious, which might be part of the reason Nic clinged to her.
Then, Nic remembered first block. How that one girl was already on to them. "Could you pick a more public space!?" Nic whisper shouted, trying to put as much urgency into her voice as possible. Expecially after how that one girl from art class had acted today, it was best if Nic and the others maintained a low profile. The last thing they needed were suspicious people following them on their last day in town. Nic glanced around the cafeteria again, hoping no one had seen. |

Eris was playing with one of his phoenix feathers.......like, one from his head.....and his name is meant to be Eris, not Eric.....

Yes, but do you think it would be a little weird if Eris just plucked a feather from his head, from the perspective of one of his classmates who don't know he's part phoenix? |

Maybe, but Eris doesn't always think about it, and for all they know, it fell on him while he was outside.

Kim turned to Auburn "I heard that there are storms now; which are more dangerous this year" she pointed out. "And also at this time my father is going to his work..." Mr. Whiteheart was a journalist who worked on the radio station to which was about 2-3 hours away from their home. Recently, he has been thinking about moving somewhere near his work but the budget was too small for that. Kimberly looked sad. She didn't want to make them problems. At the same time she wanted to join her friends and finally get away from the home and town. If she would stay, who knows for how long no one would discover her animal form? |
