Lilypad [23] Mentions: Jacqueline His mouth parts as he was about to say something, but when she said, "You're cursed too?" He closes his mouth, a soft frown on his lips. "Do you mean our powers?" He questioned, shoving his hands back into his pockets and smiles softly. Lilypad leans against the brick wall, staring at the blue sky. "I don't call my powers a curse, surprisingly." Lilypad turns his head to the side, eyes glued onto her, and he grins. "It makes me feel unique, but if want to consider it a curse, then so be it." "You escaped from Ibex two years ago, didn't you?" He questioned, glancing around the alley to make sure that they're not being watched. "Just like the others, although their current location to me is unknown. I'm with two other experiments currently, and I'm currently deciding if it's time to leave or not." Lilypad removes himself from the wall, stepping a little bit closer. "From what I learned is that we cannot stay in the same location for too long. It's quite dangerous, so we have to move around from state to state to throw them off our tracks."

Cybul | 19 | Homo | Female | Mentions: Alexander Cybul grinned coyly down at the boy as he looked up to meet her gaze. He looked absolutely terrified, even more at seeing her than when she was hiding. He mutter something under his breath that she couldn't quite make out. Flowers, glower, now her, she began lisitng the things she thought she heard in her head when suddenly something dawned on her. Wait... did he say powers? Her face fell. She took a step back. Was this guy with Ibex? Was he here to catch her and make her back into their little lab rat? Or was he just supersitious and one of the tin foil hat people? The last one seemed the most likely, due to his whole demeanor. As far as she was concerned, every other test subject had died in the fire two years ago. Cybul was snapped out of her own mind by a voice asking simpily, "Why?" Going with the assumption that this guy was a conspiracy theorist, she shook her head forced the mischevoius smile back on her face, not wanting to think about the fact Ibex might have found her. "Why am I talking to you? Because it's fun to stalk people like you, especially in wooded areas where who knows might be lurking in the trees." She giggled. "Or are you asking why I'm here, in which case, Ih ave no idea. We could open a whole philosophical disscussion about the meaning of life and the universe, but I really don't want to." She rolled her eyes as she said the last sentence.

Jacqueline (Goes by Jac) O'Conner | Female | 17.5 | Hetero | Mentions: Lilypad
Jac looked at the guy, trying to take that in. How did he survive, no one else should've survived that fire. She looked again for scars on him, but couldn't find any. He took a step towards her and she felt the instinct to back up, but fought it. "Y-you... the fire? H-how..." She mumbled, trying to figure this all out. I thought.. I was the only one. He's cursed too, he has... powers is what he called them. Like a super hero, that's weird. I'm nothing special. She looked down at Sharky and just stroked her gently. She jsut neeeded to calm down, try to focus her racing mind. She had so many questions, doubts and fears. Wait he said there was people hunting us, why would they do that? No one was safe, she just wanted to be safe. (It's so short, I'm so sorry)

Hollow | 19 years old | Male | Heterosexual | Mentions: Ezekial, Open Hollow leaned back slightly in the swing he was currently sitting in, his mind completely blank. A child ran by, giggling, and he looked up, watching as the kids climbed up on a jungle gym and played. Brushing a stray silver white hair from his face, he turned his head to look at the sky, watching as the clouds rolled gently across the sky, his mind fascinated by the simplicity of this world compared to the labs. Labs. With that word, he shivered and looked down at his milky white skin, noticing the small goose bumps that began to rise up on his skin. Turning his hand, he eyed the small, sharp claws extending from his large hands, the nails silver-white and sharp to the touch. Something fell in his lap and he jumped before staring at the hotdog in his lap, surprised. Tilting his head back, he looked up at his friend, Ezekial, and gave him a small smile. "Thank you," he murmured softly and the quiet boy simply shrugged before sitting down in the swing beside him, already working on his hotdog. Ezekial was the silent type, having rarely spoken more than 20 words the past two years since escaping the lab. He wore a sweatshirt usually, keeping his hood up over his blond hair. He had wanted Hollow to do it as well but Hollow saw no real purpose in it. Therefore, he wore his usual: a t-shirt and holey jeans. Eating the hot dog, he watched the children continue to play, the adults watching the two teens cautiously.

Lilypad [23] Mentions: Jacqueline Lilypad took a small step back when she grew uneasy, raising his hands to show that he means no harm to her or her cat. "I have Biokensis, able to alter my DNA and repair any destroyed parts of my body." He offers her a soft smile, "The only thing broken on me is my nose, which is a little bit crooked. I can always fix it whenever I please, but I kept it as a memento." He placed both hands on his hips, eyes filled with pity as he stares at her. "I'm sure that you have some questions for me to answer," he nods his head slowly, "I can answer them, but first. Are you hungry? I can grab us something to eat if you like and for your feline friend too." Lilypad stares over his shoulder behind him, a chuckle leaving him. "Arlin would be pissed if I don't eat his cooking, but I'll explain it to him once I get back." Rotating his head back to the front to face her again, tilting his head a little. "What'd you say?"

Alexander (Lex) | Male | 18 | Hetero | Mentions: Cybul He looked at the girl, still terrified. He tried to think, where had she come from, she wasn't behind the tree when he had walked up, he would've known. He always was very observant to everyone, something was off about her and he knew it. He was distracted by a passerby, a woman. She glanced at him and he looked away. The woman finished walking by. He watched as her wallet fell out of her purse, she had barely stuffed it in her purse to begin with. He noticed a few bills fly out, high dollar. He shook his head and noticed the girl was speaking to him again. "Why am I talking to you?" She asked him, then he remembered he had asked the question"Why" earlier. "Because it's fun to stalk people like you, especially in wooded areas where who knows might be lurking in the trees. Or are you asking why I'm here, in which case, Ih ave no idea. We could open a whole philosophical discussion about the meaning of life and the universe, but I really don't want to." He looked at her, confused. There was something she wasn't saying. He turned his head slightly in a questioning manner. He touched his face gently, starting at the burn scar that went up his face and ran his hand through his hair nervously, accidentally knocking his hood down.

Jacqueline (Goes by Jac) O'Conner | Female | 17.5 | Hetero | Mentions: Lilypad Jac looked at the guy. Food? Why would I want to go get food? She thought, looking at him with confusion. Wait, wait, wait, did he say he had powers? Had specific power? Those are... really cool actually. "You're powers are... really cool actually." She said, starting to relax when he showed her signs that he was safe. She was very hungry, practically starving. She knew her ribs were showing, but that was because she refused to steal. She would sometimes find some money on the ground and always spent it on getting food for Sharky, making sure she was okay and fed. "Oh... I guess we could get some food... but I don't want to go far." She said that both because she was scared to go anywhere, much less far away to a place she didn't know. She also hated traveling far on her burned leg, the limping tended to escalate her natraul foot issues and caused it to hurt after awhile.

Jesse Bleu Ortega Male | Homo | 18 M: Nyx and Dakota, Night ─── ・ 。゚☆: *.○ .* :☆゚. ─── Jesse remained in the shadows, having no intentions of showing himself just yet. But when he heard that they were from Ibex, he couldn’t stop himself. “You’re all from Ibex?” With his words, the shadows parted, revealing himself. He was dressed in a pair of ripped black jeans, a long-sleeved white and black horizontal striped shirt with an Empire Strikes Back tee over it, black leather boots, and a messenger bag was slung over his shoulder. “Like, you’re actually from Ibex? Experiments, right? Or did I just score myself a one-way ticket back to hell?” His Spanish accent melted into his words, sculpting them into different sounds here and there. "If I did just turn myself in, no more shots, please. Those hurt."

Cybul | 19 | Homo | Female | Mentions: Alexander Cybul glanced to the side when she heard footsteps, and stared at the women walking by, following her movements with her eyes. She noticed her wallet fall out glanced between the boy and the women, surprised. She leaned over and snagged the money and wallet, stuffing them in her pocket. She turned back towards the boy right as his hood fell down, revealing a nasty burn scar. She touched her own burn scar across her mouth. Thinking little of it at first other than they had somethnig in common, but she slowly began to put the dots together. Powers, burn scar, fire, Ibex... Oh my god. "Are you from Ibex? The Ibex? Did they poke you with sharp needles and take your blood too?!" She was getting exicted now, and as she said this she crouched down to eye level with the boy and got right up in his face, bouncing on her heels slightly.

Ivy Wang | 17 | Hetero | Female | ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Position your hand like this. No, tilt it this way slightly... that's right! Your're doing great Ivy!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ivy sighed, shutting her eyes for a moment before opening them again to see the illusion of her father gone. "I really, really miss you pa," she whispered. She had been thinking about her family again, reminiscing the times when her father taught her Kung Fu. Back then all of this was just the norm, her daily life. Who knew that in just a few months, all of it would be ripped away from her. After escaping from the fire, she had considered seeing her parents again, or at least watching them from afar. She then decided against it, reasoning that her presence would probably put them in harm's way. The scientists from the sickening lab had threatened they would hold her parents accountable if she didn't come along with them. She did. What other choice was there? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Her stomach gave a low rumble, signaling it was time for some breakfast. She pulled herself up. "Time to practice my powers." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She surveyed the crowd carefully before locking her eyes on her target. It was a middle-aged lady dressed flamboyantly, decked with expensive brands from head to toe. Ivy quickly chased after her, tapping lightly on her shoulder. The lady whipped around, her eyes looking Ivy up and down scowling. "What do you want?" she sniffed, her tone disgusted. "I was just wondering..." Ivy started, staring deep into the lady's eyes. A light buzzing sound rang in the air between them, Ivy feeling the tingle of the vibrations. The lady's eyes began to glaze around, becoming emotionless pupils. "Follow me," Ivy smirked, bringing the lady to a more secluded area. The lady followed her obediently to an empty street. "Hand me your wallet," Ivy commanded, showing the lady her open palm. The lady rummaged through her posh bag before placing a crocodile skin wallet on her palm. Ivy's eyes twinkled, eyeing the multiple one hundred and one thousand bills. She snatched a couple of bills, leaving a few bills left for the woman. "Thanks," Ivy grinned smugly, dropping the purse into the lady's bag. Once she had stored the money securely, she quickly made her way a distance from the lady. With her eyes trained on the lady's tiny figure a distance away, she whispered, "Release." She watched the lady come to life, spinning around probably wondering how she ended up here. Ivy walked away, satisfied with today's find. Ivy only robbed from the rich, reasoning with herself that they were simply donating to her. Plus, they had the wealth to spare so... "It's fine, they won't die from missing high-tea this Saturday," she chuckled. Edited at April 12, 2021 09:40 PM by Hua Hua
