Jericho: Mentions: Ava Jericho had to modify his helmet and armor to make it thinner so it wouldn't be nearly as obvious that he wasn't wearing something bulky underneath. "We don't need people thinking that you're a viking." Ava said to him. Jericho rolled his eyes as they left the aisle and tried to blend in with the rest of the population. He couldn't help but notice the disgust in her tone as she recommended that they tried to act like normal people. Great... she thinks she's above normal people, isn't she? Good lord this lady is something else. Jericho shook off the nerves as he walked casually along with Ava, fighting every instinct inside of him to not run further away from the hotel, instead going along with Ava and her plan to blend in. "So... how long are we going to blend in before we try to run out of the city? The longer we stay around here, the more likely we'll be spotted by those Ibex bastards." Jericho said to her, not wanting to stare at anyone as they continued walking.

Ava || Mentions: Jericho Scoffing, she tucked her hands in her sweater pockets. "Really? You think so? Never occurred to me," she hissed, keeping her head up, her eyes searching the area in front of them, nothing seemed to suspicious. She glanced back to see the van was still there, and bit her lip a few times before slowly increasing her speed slightly. She threw back her hood, taking her hair out, fluffing it upwards to get it all out from under her sweater, making it look pretty again. Whomever was chasing them was basically blocked from both ends so they had a could 10, possibly 5 minute head start. All they need was a car.. she began searching, but every vehicle tas parked and locked. She didn't need to see it, hear it or even try it, all city people knew to keep their doors locked from theives. Unless.. Ava crossed the street without warning, jogging across the street to avoid being hit by a car. Did she look back to see if Jericho was ok, or following? Nope. Did she really care? Eh, not really. Her main focus was to get out of there herself, whether or not somebody came along or not. In a low traffic zone, there was bound to be unlocked vehicles. Bingo. A rusted out red pickup truck, located only a few steps ahead of them, even had a key in the ignition. She rubbed her hands together, smiling faintly. Did she care that she could be stealing someones only transportation? Of course not.

Jericho: Mentions: Ava Jericho could only watch in disbelief as Ava darted across the road to a rusted red pickup truck. She's not thinking about stealing that truck... is she? Initially, Jericho didn't want to follow Ava to perform Grand Theft Auto, but if he didn't stick by her side, then he would be on his own again against Ibex, so he damned the torpedos and ran across the road, timing his run like a high-stakes game of frogger to make it across. Ava was by the truck, and Jericho could see that the keys were already in the ignition. Idiots... you NEVER keep the keys in the ignition whenever you leave the truck. Jericho slid into the passenger seat as Ava took the keys. "I assume you know how to drive, so please don't do anything stupid that could attract the attention of the cops until we can get far enough away from them to ditch the car. I'm not trying to go to prison for GTA."

Ava || Mentions: Jericho Sliding in, and slamming the door behind her, Ava grabbed the keys, taking them out of the ignition, examining them. "I assume you know how to drive, so please don't do anything stupid that could attract the attention of the cops until we can get far enough away from them to ditch the car. I'm not trying to go to prison for GTA." She scoffed, placing a hand on her chest with a surprised expression, "Why, of course I do. I steal cars daily," she added a hint of pride in her voice. Yes, she did indeed steal cars daily, not caring to return them to their owners. Usually the vehicle ended up somewhere on a road, or in a flaming crash.. normally the second. She placed the keys back into the ignition, turning it over, hearing the low rumbling engine roar itself to life. Smoke came out of teh exhaust, and she immediately put her window down, coughing a small bit. Shifting it in drive, she pressed the gas pedal, the tires screeching until it moved with a jerk, and she smiled nervously. "Its been a bit." Ava didn't bother to go back the other way, and went down the slow, somewhat freaky roadway. The truck would rattle here and there, and she groaned quietly, figuring out quickly this wasn't the greatest getaway vehicle. She drove along, speeding up gradually as they entered the main roads, making their way onto CA 88. She hit the gas pedal a bit hard, jerking them forward again, and she rubbed her neck, "Woops." Jericho may have had others plans, but Ava was driving towards Nevada, hearing one of the soldiers say something about Nevada before she burned them alive.

Jericho: Mentions: Ava As soon as Ava began driving, Jericho knew that he should have been the one in the driver's seat. "Why, of course I do. I steal cars daily," she said with pride. Jericho could only groan as he was sitting with a proper criminal. Good god almighty, if an officer pulls us over, I am SCREWED. Jericho began messing with his shield before jerking forward thanks to Ava going a little too hard on the gas pedal. Jackson groaned and looked at her, before shaking his head and going back to his shield, not sure about what he should make his shield. After a few minutes of messing with it, Jericho looked up and saw a couple of signs that showed locations in Nevada. "Are we going to Nevada? You know of a location over there where we can hide out?" Jericho asked Ava, now wondering what she had in mind. Edited at October 13, 2021 11:41 AM by Shadow Hearts

Ava || Mentions: Jericho Ava shrugged, "Yes, we are going to Nevada. No, I have no clue as to where we are going to hide out." She rubbed her eyes, before placing her hands back on the steering wheel, thinking. "You know. Why did you even bother coming back to me back there? When you shoved into me," she asked, keeping her eyes on the road. "And why do you insist its "us"? You don't know me, and I don't know you. So why in the world are you coming along with me?" As she spoke, it almost sounded as if she was interrogating him, a bit suspicious as to why he was riding along. She yawned quietly, and flicked her hair back, annoyed it kept slithering its way right into her face, she didn't like holding it up with an elastic, but she has considered it. Maybe I'll just stop, burn him alive and dump him on the side of the road.. no, that'll cause to much attention. Knock him out, throw him out, run him over. Yes. 'Reasons why you don't Jaywalk'. She stifled a chuckle, holding a hand to her face, attempting to keep her laughter in. She wasn't very funny to others, but she found alot of rude, cold, and callous things to be funny.

Jericho: Mentions: Ava Jericho couldn't help but exhale forcefully through his nose at the questions. "Well I just figured that you would like some help to fend off Ibex, since you're just the best to hang out with." Jericho said, trying to force his tone to be as sarcastic as possible when he delivered the sentence. "And as for why I came back for you when the van showed up... I'm not 100% sure myself, but after being in a brutal fight with several Ibex soldiers just minutes earlier, I just wanted to be around someone in case Ibex attacked me again... and no I did not want to just drag someone into my mess. Look, I don't really like it either, but Ibex is after us, so wouldn't it make strategical sense for us to stick together to fight them off as a duo?" Jericho looked at the different signs as they continued driving. "I understand if you want nothing more than to ditch me on some side road and drive off, but Ibex isn't going to stop until every last one of us is dead." Jericho let the statement float through the air, knowing that he had to convince her to not drop him off somewhere or burn him alive.

Erokeria I M: Open I Location: unknown Ero was walking along the side of the road. She needed a new obsession, life was starting to feel sad and dull as of late. She was a complicated girl, she didn’t even know how she worked, but she didn’t really care. She skipped along, smiling like the crazy little psychopath she knew she was. She noticed a small gas station on the side of the road and she skipped over to it, grinning like an idiot. She entered the establishment to see a few guys, not that she really cared. She went over to the concessions place to grab a pack of rainbow skittles, a candy she adored. She went up to the cashier and smiled at them, pulling out some money. She slammed it on the counter and suddenly the guy’s neck made a sickening crack when the grinning girl tilted her head to the side suddenly. The cashier dropped dead instantly, along with the other person in the store. She grinned even wider, going over the counter to enter out the cash drawer and grab the gun from underneath the counter. She avoided stepping in the pool of blood that had formed around the dead men and she walked out of the store, shotgun on her shoulder as she was chewing on some bubble gum she had stolen.

Ava || Mentions: Jericho, Erokeria Sighing, she shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose. But that doesn't mean I trust you," she retorted, glancing at the gas meter, groaning. Of course she picked up an empty truck, of course. Thankfully the light wasn't on just yet, so they went along, Ava remaining silent for the next two minutes. A gas station was up ahead on the right side, and she sighed in relief, "Thank god. Oh, and," she opened up the center console, digging through it to find twenty or so dollars, "buy us some snacks. Ill pump up the gas." She put the blinker on, driving over the white line, heading into the gas station. She saw someone walking out of the store, holding what seemed to be a toy gun or something.. nope. She hit the brakes slowly, making her way to a pump, stopping teh truck, putting it in park. "The fuuuck?-" Ava could sense a odd aura around the young women, and began to laugh. "Holy shit. Just my luck! Another damn experiment, one who seems to have taken a liking to Harley Quinn." Ava yawned, cracking her knuckles before opening the door. "I like chips, and soda," she added, smiling for a second, then the smile faded away as she slammed the rusted door, walking down the side of the bed, glancing here and there at the young women. Walking over to the gas pump, her eyes slightly glowing orange in a small rythm, before abrudbtly stopping. She pushed her red hair back, taking the pump, pouring Gas onto the ground quietly.

Jericho: Mentions: Ava and Erokeria Jericho took one look at Ero inside of the gas station wielding the shotgun to know that he was not going to get some snacks without readying himself for a fight. Jericho took his shield and turned it into a part of the helmet that covered his face, completing the helmet. Jericho slid from the truck and walked inside of the gas station, seeing that she had killed two people by way of snapping their neck, meaning she either has super strength or has some ability where she can snap necks on will. He didn't want to make her aggressive against him, considering she had a shotgun and could kill him quickly. Jericho floated to the drinks and grabbed a case of soda pop and a case of beer, before grabbing two party bags of chips and going to the counter to pay for it, all the while staring at the girl with the shotgun. He put down the exact change on the counter before walking out of the gas station, only to find that Ava was pouring out gasoline on the ground. "What the hell are you doing?! All it takes is one spark and the whole place blows up!" Jericho hissed at her placing the drinks and chips in the passenger side floor of the car.
