Malaki: Mentions: Sky and Shadow Malaki could see that Sky was bothered by reliving her past, which made sense. "So you hid your other powers from them. If only I was so lucky to be able to do the same..." He rubbed his eyes before continuing. "I hid my other powers from them as well, but the one scientist that was overseeing me thought I was something great, that I had some secret strengths that needed to be unlocked, so they kept working away on me, using everything in their power to advance my abilities and possibly unlock new ones. And when I stopped showing progress, they started to poke and prod me in every imaginable way to force me to actually show what I could achieve..." Flashbacks of being strapped to a table while being injected with serums and being used as a test dummy for other experimentals passed his mind, causing him to stop talking for a minute before he could talk again. "I eventually caved in for them. I no longer hid what I could do, out of paranoia and fear that they would keep hurting me. I wanted nothing more than to leave that damn isolation cell they housed me in, and they knew it. 'If you keep up your good behaviour, we'll put you into a cell near other experiments so you have some people to talk to in between.' They kept peddling that lie endlessly, and I acted like a freaking puppet for them just so I could get out." Malaki looked out at the horizon before looking at Shadow, who was still focusing on making the flight easier. "Anything you want to say, Shadow?"

Sky & Shadow | M: Malaki Sky listened to Malaki before flattening her ears. "I hate Ibex for what they did to us. They call us the freaks and dangerous but really, its them." Sky hissed before hearing Malaki say, "Anything you want to say, Shadow?" Sky went silent, her ears flattening sadly as Shadow stayed silent for a couple moments. Finally, he said quietly, ever so quietly, "The first thing they did was experiment on my eyes. The pain was unbearable, needles prodding and poking into my left eye." His hand went up instinctively to his eye before he let his hand drop. "The scars they left behind on that eye was worse than my right eye. Hence is why I wear an eyepatch now. To not scare anyone away." Shadow closed his eye, sensory memories flashing through his head before stopping on one image. "The last thing I could see. . .was the face of my sister urging me on." Shadow whispered before turning his head away.
"Okay, that's enough bad memories for one trip," Sky said, breaking Shadow's silence, shaking out some feathers. "We don't have much farther anyway." Sky looked back at Shadow and Malaki before focusing on Malaki, "If there was no Ibex and nothing to stop you, what would be the first thing you would do?" Sky asked, resorting to 'What would you do?' questions.

Ahmya and Elea I I Mentions: Drea, Leonas, Ota and Ibex
Ahmya glared coldly at Leonas as she got in the car. She looked sadly at Dread, who was lying unconciouss. She hated how she couldn't do anything to help him besides stare at him. She crossed her arms, frowning deeply at Levushka as she glared coldly at him. "Bastard. Now when the hell will he be awake?" Ahmya demanded to know, still staring coldly at the man. ~~~~ Elea was healed by Leonas, but she was still very tired and weak from her pregnancy. She was happy that Ota was still caring and protective over her, that was what she needed. He helped her into the van and she flopped into a chair, putting her arms over her stomach. She winced again as she felt the baby kick again, or it was a cramp, she was too exhausted to know the difference. "Ota, are we safe? I-I can't even protect myself... Ow..." She mumbled, looking over at Ota with scared, very tired eyes. Her hand was clamped on her stomach as she felt movement. She was so exhausted and she couldn't handlt anything more than she already had, her pregnancy was hard enough to begin with, and now all the stress was affecting her, and she knew it was affecting the unborn child too. "I'm scared." She murmured, rubbing her stomach and wincing again. She reached a hand over to him, wanting to have his comfort. She wanted him to cuddle with her and keep her close to him, but she wasn't sure he would do that. Edited at October 12, 2021 12:27 PM by Dragonhorse

Malaki: Mentions: Sky and Shadow Malaki slowly nodded as Shadow finished his story. Maybe they were trying to unlock something with his eyes, only to inflict blindness. Absolute bastards, the lot of them. "If there was no Ibex and nothing to stop you, what would be the first thing you would do?" Sky asked him. At first, Malaki was going to answer with starting his music career in earnest, but another thought cam a cross his mind and beat out the music idea. "First thing I would do is find my friends. I was seperated from them when I was... 14? 15? when my parents were tricked into sending me to what they thought was a military school, only to find out it was Ibex. What made it worse was that about a week later, I was shown a picture of both of them dead, no doubt Ibex wanting to keep me. I don't know what my friends think of me, having just left them without an explanation. I escaped from Ibex about... four years ago and lived on the streets ever since. I doubt they'd be able to recognize me now, but I just would like to see them at least once more so I'd know that they're okay." Malaki held onto the saddle as he tried to remember the faces of his friends, but sadly, he couldn't grasp the memories.

Sky | M: Malaki Sky listened to his story before sighing, "No matter where we go, we can't seem to get away from Ibex." She stayed sad for a moment before perking up, "Hold on tightly, I want to show you something." She said before lifting up, flapping hard as she went into the jetstreams. Entering one, she suddenly jerked up, making sure Malaki's gun didn't go overboard before lifting up over top the wing-breakers. The sun shone brightly behind them, the clouds looking like cotton candy in the sky. The view was spectacular. "This is one of the things Ibex will never be able to taint." Sky said to Malaki, still moving in the direction they needed to go but the view was still beautiful.

Malaki: M: Sky Malaki couldn't help but grin at the beautiful view that was before him. "You got that right Sky... it's a hell of a great view." Malaki said as he looked around. "Well, as much as I would like to stay up here in the sky, we do have to return to Earth some time." Malaki said with a sigh. "I really wish Ibex wasn't a thing. I just want to a normal life... or at least, a normal life involving a music career. Now I'm high in the sky, wielding a rifle and hoping that we don't run into an organization of people who want nothing more than to kill us." Edited at October 11, 2021 10:50 PM by Shadow Hearts

Finley Neil Blake | Male | 26 | Ambi/Single | Apres-Gay/Demi-Gay | Nevada | Mentions; Eagla(Ind/Dir), Ibex(Ind), Open. While making the cup of peppermint tea, he felt the slight pulse of a mutant. Where had they all been during the last ten years? Only now, when Ibex was coming back, he was meeting them? Honestly, if he could feel at the same intensity of others, he was certain this would’ve been seen as a slight annoyance. -- He decided not to pay too much attention to the pulse, it wasn’t that important at the moment. He simply kept making his tea. Until the pulse was louder and closer, and the air seemed heavier. He heard a voice, a mix of male and female features within it. -- “A human with no emotions. Fascinating indeed. I'm not a threat to you, human. I'm here to observe, inspect your mind.” -- He didn’t stop with his tea, just raised one of his eyebrows to himself. A slight feeling came over him, dread- Fear. He blinked a bit, and it was gone. He went back to making his tea. The pulse was strong, and then weaker, nullification easily reached out and pushed it away as the mutant spoke again. “My apologies if my powers overwhelm you, this something I can't control. The constant feeling of fear, I mean.” -- The pulse was still there, slight now due to nullification. And he read the ability. Almost immediately, he pulled nullification back. He looked over at them then, the slightest look of interest in his eyes. -- “I'm Eagla, which means fear in Irish. You're Finley, yes?” -- Finley stared at the figure for a moment before giving a polite smile, his voice hollow as he spoke. “Yes, my name is Finley. It comes from the Irish and Scottish name Fionnlagh, which means white, fair, and warrior. Doesn’t quite fit me, if I had to say. Though yours certainly does. Is that something you do, go around and say the meaning of your name to those you meet?” -- He turned back towards his peppermint tea, picking up the now finished cup of it. How nice it was to have air abilities, telekinesis was basically just a subcategory to it after all. He took a sip of the strong tea and then looked back at Eagla. “No need to apologize about an ability, if it ever becomes to much I have a nullifying ability that can make it to where it isn’t too much.” -- Finley paused, thinking for a moment before speaking again, “Do you want some?” He gestured his head towards his cup of tea. “I have peppermint, ginger, lemon, honey, red, black, Pu-erh, rosehip, chai, earl grey, and hibiscus.”

Glory || Mentions: Shi, Ibex Glory pinned her ears back, annoyed. No, she didn't know how to speak wolf language, everytime she did, no other wolf could here.. but, you know, she never met any other shifters. "If I knew how to speak in wolf language, I would." She then had a puzzled face, "Well. Seems now I can," she grumbled. She followed alongside Shi, shifting sides every other minute, looking for any in coming fire. Nothing seemed to be chasing them until she heard a loud revving of an engine behind them, she glanced back, but tripped again into the gully, growling at herself for that mistake. What was going on with her? Why was she tripping everywhere? Only gods knows.. A loud screech from above must have been a warning or something, because then she could see a van driving horribly through the woods. "At their rate, we will be able to get out of here in no time, " as she stopped and walked up the gully, their was one soldier, by himself. She did indeed find that odd, but she didn't care. Before she could rip him apart, he had pulled the trigger on his pistol, shooting her three times. Twice in the soldier, and once in the chest, but every time seemed to be less painful. She shrugged, and lunged at the man, ripping his hand clean off, then tearing him in two. She glanced back at Shi, and the van, "I think its time we took to the sky."

Nyx || Mentions: Leonas, Levushka Nyx glared at the man, watching as he started walking back to the van, eventually getting in, placing Tavu in there too. She grited her teeth, "Hey!" She jogged over, whipping open the back doors, jumping in, Dakota right behind her. When she noticed Levushka on the ground, she looked away for a moment, feeling guilt and remorse. They shouldn't have left him, she sent a sideways glare at Tavu, somewhat blaming him for the fact she wasn't there to save her beloved. "Whats wrong with him?" She asked, holding his limp hand in hers. Dakota was rubbing Nyx's back, trying to comfort te obviously sad women, wondering what was going to happen to their friend. She looked back at Leonas, swearing she knew him somehow.. something felt off and weird about him, like if he wasn't there but.. there.

Ava || Mentions: Open Ontop of an apartment building, was a young adult lying down on a beach chair, leaning back, resting her head on her arms. Her legs were crossed over one another, her eyes closed gently. Surrounding her, dead Ibex soldiers were surrounding the entire rooftop, a few droplets on the young women's cheek. She lifted a hand, her middle finger and her thumb touching gently, flicking the droplets of blood away, leaving only small blood smears. She yawned, stretching her arms out, rolling her shoulders repeatedly. She sat up, pushing her hair back off her shoulders and out of her face, giggling quietly as she peered down the tall building, a small grin growing. She had been watching delightfully as people screamed, running for their lives while Ibex was hunting fellow experiments down, opening fire on them all. She had found it funny, until she was found and they began to strike at her. Unfortunately for them, they were all burned in the process. Hencing the charred corpses surrounding her. She clicked her tongue, shrugging her soldiers, "I might as well join in on the fun." Ava stood up, brushing off her skin-tight jeans, realizing she had a rip in them, she sighed, "These were nice." She brushed off her shirt, which seemed , looking over to the setting sun, chuckling. As she stepped foot out of the six story building, walking out the door, she looked around. In the far distance, a few familiar auras could be seen, but it was faint and quite difficult to see. Ava sighed again, walking off into the direction of the auras.
