Finley Neil Blake | Male | 26 | Ambi/Single | Apres-Gay/Demi-Gay | Nevada | Mentions; Shadow(Ind), Sky(Ind), Malaki(Ind), Ibex(Ind/Dir), CONVEN(Ind/Dir), Open. Finley barely had had a few minutes of standing before deciding to go inside, and then almost immediately he heard gunshots. And despite his new acquaintances being around somewhere within the house, he chose to leave without them. What else would he choose to do? It was obviously Ibex, as it was around the time they had stated in the note, and quite honestly? It’d be suicide to stay. -- So without a second thought, he made his way towards the nearest window, one of the west side. Wind pushed through his hands, and he broke the window by the force of that alone. He pushed himself out of it then, seeing three soldiers immediately. They actually paused at the sight of him, as if they weren’t expecting for him to simply come out, and not like that. He, though, didn’t pause. Hard to do so when your emotions were lacking within a world gray, after all. -- An eleven foot two inches tall figure came into being next to him then. The figure was in full white armor. Conven. Finley knew his pupils were a blinding white then, and Conven’s white shield manifested itself. It went in front of Finley just as the soldiers came back from their shock, and began shooting again. -- Of course, the bullets hit the shield and bounced off now. Finley used his cover to allow him time to bring up the air behind the soldiers, hitting them from behind and knocking the guns out of their hands. He focused most of the air to suffocate the bulkiest of the soldiers, while using the rest to push one of their handguns towards him. He didn’t know how to use any of the big guns, but he had plenty of experience with a military grade handgun. He picked it up from the ground quickly, and the bulky soldier was dropped from the air, dead. -- He didn’t bat an eye at the fact, it wasn’t his first kill. He pushed himself from the cover Conven had provided, ordering them silently to take on one of the other soldiers while he turned towards the one having the most trouble grabbing their weaponry again. Conven nodded towards him and moved quickly, a white sword manifesting in their grip. -- Finley brought up the gun with a practiced expertise, shooting the Ibex soldier before they could even look up at him. He made his way into the woods, letting the air push him forwards to let him go faster. He was a few yards into the forest as he vaguely noticed a bullet rip through Conven’s body, a phantom one going through his own. He stopped, allowing Conven to crumble back and heal within him, his pupils going back to normal. He’d gotten far enough away anyways. -- From there, he used his air ability to propel him away from the area, his umbrella still open and in one of his hands. In no time at all, he was back in the city of Nevada. He wasted no time to get back to his apartment, going through the routines of unlocking, locking, and unlocking each of the five locks. Then, he entered the place of residence and did the routine of locking all five locks. Lock, unlock, lock, jiggle the doorknob to make sure. Good. -- He knew that wouldn’t keep the Ibex soldiers out on its own, so he went to the hallway closet and took out the bulletproof door he had found in a store once and bought for if crime rates ever went up too much. He quickly put it on the door, using his aerokinesis to make it go faster. Then, he went back to the closet and grabbed the bulletproof windows he’d gotten for the same reason. He installed them at each of the barred windows with the same amount of speed. Then, he stood there for a second, looking around at the gray apartment. -- It wasn’t actually gray, it was rather all over the place with color actually. When buying the furniture he hadn’t been able to see the colors, so he’d simply bought them based off of style. They were actually quite tacky in color, even though they matched in style well. But to him right then, only the icy blue shade of his bracelet and anklet showed anywhere to him. -- He went to his kitchen, deciding that he should have a cup of peppermint tea to collect his thoughts and decide on what to do next should Ibex soldiers find a way in.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky and Shadow Malaki opened his mouth, wanting to say that he was merely using a figure of speach, but before he could correct Shadow, Shy had returned. "Found Lev, but also found Flame, her child and Arlin. We can head northwest." Sky looked at both of them with a raised eyebrow. "Just telling Shadow I was using a figure of speech. So... how long are these other mutants to the northwest? Also, were they also being attacked by Ibex when you found them? Or is it safe to go to them?" Malaki said, double checking to make sure that the pistol's safety was on. "Because as much as I want to find other mutants and stick with them, I really don't want to get into another firefight with Ibex so soon." He finished. "Well that's because you know that you'll get in the way of the other mutants, since you're the weakest out of all of them. They only have to use their abilities while you have to stoop to a gun." Malaki didn't react to Benny trying to demoralize him, so that he wouldn't appear to be crazy in front of Sky and Shadow.

Burning Flame | M: Arlin, Ghost Lily Flame was about to go put Ghost Lily into the crib when the dead bird came flying through the window. She froze before pulling the message out of its throat. After reading, she called out to Arlin as she packed a bag up quickly for Ghost Lily. Sliding the girl into a harness around her chest, she grabbed her bow and two quiver of arrows. Getting outside, she started for Arlin when she heard Cero inside her head with a set of coordinates. "Come on Arlin!" Flame called inside before shifting into her dragon form, Ghost Lily getting transferred to a saddle seat on her back.
Taking off, she looked back for Arlin before flying towards the coordinates. She arrived a minute before 4 o'clock, shifting into human form as she went inside quickly. Making sure Arlin was close behind she was about to say something when rapid gunfire went off and she was flattened onto the ground. She groaned, cradling her baby close to her before growling. How dare they! Hiding Ghost Lily in a closet, she grabbed her bow and strung an arrow. As soon as the gunfire went off, she shot the arrow before ducking down as the grenade attatched to it went off outside.
She was getting better at knowing which arrows could do what. Nocking another arrow, she let it loose, the arrow slicing through the air before lodging into one of the soldier's throats. Letting another loose, she ducked down as another array of gunfire went out. Slithering on her stomach, she shifted into a large wolf before shifting her colors to match her environment. Slipping out the door, she circled around until she was behind Ibex. Fire sprouted around her before pushing forward, roasting the first few soldiers. As they realized that they were under attack, they turned towards her.
A couple bullets hit her skin before it healed up, but it was enough to make her mad. Hopefully Arlin was controlling the back of the house. Flame huffed before energy threads popped up in her vision. She narrowed it down to the Ibex soldiers in front of her before snapping their threads easily. They fell but more replaced them. No matter. She ignored the bullets lodging into her skin as she started snapping their lives. After a bit, she finished them before reaching out to make sure her daughter was okay. Another presence in the energy threads presented itself. Sky. She followed Sky's fox through the energy threads before finding her and Shadow with an unknown man.
The gem reached for her and she responded, making it light up easily. She made it flash another time before pulling slightly on all three of their energy threads, letting them know she was there. Pulling back, she released the energy threads before going back inside to find her daughter and Arlin.

Sky | M: Malaki Sky felt Shadow shift next to her, it had been a bit more than that. Ignoring it, she replied to Malaki, "They were in the middle of a firefight but Flame was taking care of it. By the time we get there, it will be safe." A pull on her a moment later made her say, "It's actually safe to go now. It feels like Flame is done." Sky got up before shifting into her wolf-griffin form, wincing slightly. "It's not too far from here. Are you hurt Malaki?" Sky asked, kneeling down to let Shadow and him on. Shadow shifted slightly in her saddle as they waited for Malaki.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky and Shadow "It's actually safe to go now. It feels like Flame is done." Sky let Shadow climb onto the saddle before waiting for Malaki. "Are you hurt Malaki?" She asked. "I'm perfectly fine." He replied, adjusting the contents held within his pockets before getting on the saddle behind Shadow. "I'm about as ready to fly as I can be, Sky. Let's go." Malaki grabbed onto the saddle and braced himself for the flight, hoping that this is the last one for a while. "How many more flights are you risking to take Malaki? If you lose your gun, then your battle capabilities will be considerably limited." Benny reminded him as Malaki adjusted the strap of his rifle so it didn't fly off during the trip.

Glory || Mentions: Jackson, Shi Glory growled quietly when Shi told her to move over, but, she ended up moving over anyway, She watched silently as the gem did its work, watching as Jackson's wounds were mended together, her once trembling hands became still. When the women was finished, Glory moved back over, rubbing Jackson's face. "Wake up.. please.. wake up," she nudged him with her hands, wiping off the tears off of her face. She glanced back to see the wall coming down, and animals running back to Shi. She was amazed as to how the women was capable of healing so many, wondering if the magic from the gem would wear out at some point. Her attention was brought back to her family when Aztec came running at his mother, wrapping his arms tight around her shoulders and neck, and she could just barely hear the quiet tears. "Its ok.." Glory rubbed her son's back, kissing his forehead, "Daddy is going to be ok." She began to tear up once more, but held it back, taking in another few deep breath. Glancing back behind her, her hands slowly began to squeeze, her muscles tightning. Ibex wasn't going to go down that easily.. if they were still the same as before, they woudl try another attack once more before truly retreating back to their rocks. Glory patted her child's back before standing up warily, brushing off her pants. "That won't stop them. They'll try at least one more time before they give up. We need to leave," she looked around, looking for a place where they could hide out. But of course, they were in the middle of the freaking woods. There was no cover, anywhere! She groaned, and rubbed her neck, wiping off her face some more.

Jackson I I Mentions: His family Jackson was pulled back into reality. He gasped, feeling no more pain in his chest. He coughed, starting to cough harder as he could finally breathe again and wasn't used to it. He sat up, seeing Glory and forcing himself to get up and stumble over to her, wrapping his arms around her and shedding a few tears as he pulled her close to him. He rubbed her back with one hand, other arm wrapped around her waist. He burried his face against her shoulder. He never wanted to leave her, he was never going to leave her. He felt Dia's arms wrap around him from behind and he smiled. He was alive, and his family was alive. "I'm so sorry, i never want to leave you..." He murmured, pulling away slightly to gently kiss her. He moved his hand to the side of her cheek, brushing some of her hair away from her face as he smiled. He kissed her one more quick time before looking around. "I'll help look for a place so we can hide, we should all stay together." He told her, looking around as he took a step back. He had chosen one of her hands to gently take in his. He wasn't going to leave her again, not ever. He gently picked up Aztec too I'm one arm, wanting to keep the child close to him. Dia stayed close to him, but didn't say anything or do anything besides gently take his arm. "I'm not going to let anyone ruin our family, or take it away. I won't let it happen again." Levushka Mentions: Nyx, Dakota, and Tavu A dark presence filled the air-Tavu snapped. "Shit. Nyx!" He starts running in the direction of his wife, but he collapses onto the ground. Pain rushing through his body, a sword in his back, and he was coughing up blood. He let his defense down. He let himself get stabbed in the back. Curses, he got out of focus, his powers depleted and left him vulnerable. An abomination with an arm in its mouth approaches and raises a spear. He stabs Levushka in the back of his neck, and that's where he starts to die. He could feel life leaving him and desperately clinging onto it. He can't leave Nyx alone with a baby-he can't die. He could've sworn that he sees a familiar man walking towards him. Those familiar golden eyes glowing, and he weakly reaches a hand in the direction of the man. It happened so quickly, all the abominations and soldiers exploded, and Lev grew confused. Scared. Leonas's power. That was his father's powers-did he die and his father's spirit is coming for him? What a damn life he's living. He gave one last look at the stranger before his eyes heavily fell. Dread and Ota Mentions: Ahyma, Elea, kids, and Ibex Dread frowns when Ahyma heartlessly glares at him, and he presses his wounds tight. Did the love die between or something? Elea always shows him warmth, happiness that Ahyma never did show. It makes him feel like...shit. He lifts his head hearing footsteps coming his way. He groans, it was an Ibex soldier with a silencer, and he lets his head fall back down. Dread grabbing the trigger of his pistol, and closes his eyes. Suddenly, they both aim at each other and pull the trigger. Both guns going off, the soldier lying dead while Dread busy turning dead. "Fucking great." He says, closing his eyes when he felt tired all of a sudden. Ota rushes inside hearing gunfire, most of the soldiers were dead, but reinforcements were coming. "Elea!" He grew worried, only to see Dread bleeding out with a dead Ibex soldier lying on the floor. "You fuckers!" He was going to go back out there, only for a massive explosion to greet him. Luckily, he didn't step outside, or else he'll be blown to bits like the others out there. Seeing that massive explosion, the Ibex soldiers start falling back to safety. Approaching the house was a man with blonde hair, sharp golden eyes fixated on him. Leonas Clone #1 Mentions: Levushka, Nyx, Dakota, and Tavu Leonas was watching the scene, following the angel's gaze, and he tilts his head. "There are others. I could see their aura." His eyes widen even more when he notices that one of them is pregnant. "Shit." His eyes turn back to the archangel, slowly approaching him with his eyes glowing. One by one, the abominations and soldiers start to explode. Reaching the angel slowly and cautiously, reaching into his pockets to pull out a flare gun. Firing said gun in the air and the flare giving away his location. He heals Levushka's wounds and turns his sights to the other battlefield going on. "Rada, this man's wounds are healed, but there are others I have to save." Waiting for a bit until he sees the van before dashing off in the direction of the others. Exploding enemies left to right, reaching the small group, and skids to a halt when he sees the demon fox. "Come on. That thing?" He doesn't want to kill another experiment, and he uses his aura powers to calm down the raging fox. Luckily, it works and Tavu returns to normal. Leonas approaches the fox-man thing, putting him over his shoulders. Finally, he killed off the rest of the two sides with ease, following after the two women. "I'm Leonas, I'm here to help. Your friend, the angel, is currently resting in the van and close to death." He says, giving a slight tilt of his head. "I'm no enemy of yours." (continued on another forum reply)

Leonas Clone #2 Mentions: Dread, Ahyma, Elea, Ota, and kids Leonas walks closer to the home, eyes filled with caution with each step. He enters the home-he scans the interior for this man name Dread. Seeing him bleeding out at the moment, he steps closer to the man, and was ready to heal his wounds, but got blocked by a pissed-off Ota, and the two men's eyes were locked. "Move, or else you're dead. You're going to let the man die, young man." Leonas's tongue was sharp, Ota growling and he glares over his shoulder, staring back at the injured Dread. "Fine. Hurt him, my sister would kill you. It's a damn promise." Leonas rolls his eyes, approaching Dread, and starts healing his wounds. When it was done, he grabs Dread, and holds him up. "Reach into my pocket and pull out a flare. It's going to show my location to the others." Ota reaches inside Leonas's pockets, grabbing the flare gun, and stares at it with little trust in his eyes. "Do it damn it before they come back." Ota rolls his eyes, left the home to fire the flare. "Let me get the others. They're hiding in the basement," mumbled the Japanese man, glaring at Leonas still before heading down into the basement to retrieve his family. Leonas carries Dread out, looking at both sides of the road for a black van. He grew tense, but soon relaxes when it arrives. He continues lifting Dread, storing him in the back of the van. Meanwhile, Ota was trying his best to calm everyone down, and holding back his anger. "Elea, get the kids to calm down and head upstairs. We have someone taking us to a safe place. I'm sure he can heal your wound," he helps Elea to her feet, ordering the boys to head upstairs to the van while he helps Elea. Edited at October 11, 2021 07:10 PM by Cereal

Glory || Mentions: Jackson Glory could feel herself being pulled into a hug, and then a gentle kiss, only making her shed a few more tears. She wiped her face as she pulled away, taking in a few shuddering breaths. She had to get control of herself, had to pull herself together. In this horrid moment, they were battling life as they knew it, and here she was, sobbing. She rolled her shoulders, taking in another few deep breaths, pulling herself together. She clasped her hands together, looking around, when Jackson volunteered to help look for a place, Glory twirled around, staring at him. "No, your staying with the children. Your in no condition to go off on your own. You've cheated death once.. I don't want to see you risk it again," she spoke in a stern voice, refusing to let him go off into the danger zone that they were already in. Just talking to him made her upset, afraid this may be the last time she would speak to him, but she kept control over herself and her emotions and she sighed. Glory kneeled down, kissing Aztec and Dia both on the foreheads, hugging them both. "I love you both, I want you to know that." She looked up at Jackson, "Stay with the kids.. if you hear anything, run the other way. Just run, grab the kids and run. Hear me?"
