Zynar | Dragon | Male | Trainee Mentions: Avika, Neryth, Kiran (dir.) Opening his eyes, Zynar took in the scene. A female dragon had found her rider - no, make that two. He wasn't sure how he knew, but the glowering female had found a rider; if that was a good thing, he was unsure. Another dragon had landed in the clearing, but seemed to simply be taking in the scene. Once more, he glanced at the line of waiting trainees, hoping for the tug he had been taught about. No, no, not that one... on and on he went, heart sinking as he failed. An elegant female stepped into the growing crowd, not quite in the line, but observing. She was ethereal, graceful in a way the others simply did not possess. Her clothing exuded wealth, and her posture spoke of importance. Without a doubt, she was important. And without a doubt, she was his. Zynar glanced to Neryth, hoping she wouldn't fry him. He knew this woman was important, and he knew Neryth aided in the protection of recognized figures. The general below her swept his gaze over the female, watching her surroundings with frantic haste. Without giving himself to rethink, Zynar stood and stepped into the light. He flared his wings, taking a few steps towards the female, before curling his tail around his back legs and sitting down once again. He knew the light caught in his scales, and as he straightened his posture, he only hoped he would match the elegance of his female. Neck arched in a serpntine shape, he stared her down and waited.

Avika : Elf : Queen : Female M: Zynar (dir.)
Avika noticed the dragon's gaze on her and froze. There was no way, no way this was happening. Was she actually being chosen? Had she been chosen? Avika hesitated for a moment, indecision briefly taking her. Finally, making up her mind, Avika stepped forward. A gentle wind brushed through her hair, making her sleeves billow. Her steps were slow, careful and deliberate as she approached, prepared to back off if the dragon disapproved of her approach. Her gaze flickered over the dragon's form, taking in his posture and scales. She liked the way the light refracted off his scales, the blue color shimmering like fragments of the ocean. A delicate smile touched her lips as she noticed his attempts to match her regal posture. Edited at September 11, 2023 07:48 PM by Shenzu

Asteria | Human | Warrior | Female Mentions: Navi, Junover
Asteria suddenly felt a prickly throbbing in her head, and looked up as a blue-feathered black dragon suddenly dove down in front of her. The flimsy elf midget next to her was swayed by the wind from the dragon's descent, and had to take a few steps back to avoid falling over. He seemed to have a disappointed expression when he noticed the dragon hadn't landed in front of him.
Asteria's nonchalantness and pain suddenly faded, and she felt a rush of- curiosity? Excitement? A mix of both, most likely, an uncommon emotion for her. The dragon was watching her curiously with wide yellow eyes. She was smaller than some other dragons Aster had seen, but still maybe twice her height, with black scales, a white underbelly, and bright blue feathers. I guess this is my year, huh...? ...I wonder if we have to feed our dragons. "Hello," Edited at September 11, 2023 07:50 PM by Qyusen

Navi : Dragon : Trainee : Female M: Asteria
Navi leaned down to sniff at Asteria, her nostrils flaring slightly. She paused, before lightly brushing the underside of her jaw against the top of the human's head. 'Hello.' Her voice was light, with a faint hint of an Irish accent. It was oddly soothing. 'My name is Navi. What is yours?' Navi sat down, curling her tail around her paws. Her wings were folded in close, and her head was tilted slightly, curiosity glimmering in her eyes. Edited at September 11, 2023 07:58 PM by Shenzu

Asteria | Human | Warrior | Female Mentions: Navi
Asteria felt the warm breath of the dragon before her, who lowered their head to briefly touch Asteria's. "My name is Navi. What's yours?"
"I'm... Asteria. Fenn," Asteria responded, straightforward. She could feel this foreign curiosity surge throughout, supposing she should say something more but not finding any words. She had observed a few, but this was, afterall, her first bonding. "Nice to... meet you."

Navi : Dragon : Trainee : Female M: Asteria (dir.)
The corners of Navi's mouth quirked, curving upwards in a small, toothy smile. She could sense the human's uncertainty, though it was slightly muddled from the new bond. She hummed softly, her tail tip flicking slightly. 'So. Tell me about yourself. What do you like to do? Favorite color? Favorite food?'

Kade : human : general : male Mentions: Navi The dragons were starting to bond. A blue feathered dragon had already found her bonded and the others were about to follow her example. I could tell by the look in their eyes, a hungry spark of fire, roaring for some, intense for others, but fire all the same. Blowing a piece of blonde hair out of my eye I smiled. This was the year I would be chosen. I knew it. Not in my heart, listening to their hearts had lead many of my soldiers to their deaths. No, this was something different. Call it a sixth sense. Call it whatever you want really, but I know my bonded is out there. Somewhere close. Edited at September 12, 2023 05:03 AM by LaLuna Azul

Zynar | Dragon | Male | Trainee | Bonded Mentions: Avika (dir.) His female approached, tentative in her steps. As her mouth quirked into a smile, he knew he liked her already. When she was close enough, he bowed low to the ground, eyes never leaving her. His heart almost shook with nerves - no, excitement. Raising his head once again, he huffed a small plume of smoke towards the sky, pretending his fear evaporated with it. The breeze seemed to race over his scales, a calming force in this maelstrom of emotion. No need to delay any further. "My name is Zynar. You look rather important."

Kiran | Elf | General | Male Mentions: Kiran watched the bonding begin. His wary gaze fell to the grumpy female dragon more than once, and even when he moved on, the dragon was in his peripheral. Disobedience to Neryth was a threat he was not willing to risk. Stepping back, he gently carressed her leg, the abrasive scales a way to ground himself into reality. Disregard was not equivicable to disobedience. With his hand still on his dragon, Kiran continued to observe. Many dragons were choosing their rider, and much to his surprise - and utter horror, Queen Avika had approached a deep blue dragon. He unsheathed his sword, bristling with dread at the interaction, but relaxed when the dragon made no immediate move to harm her. Glancing back at Neryth briefly, he began to move. "Neryth, I'm moving to the queen. I don't know this dragon."

Neryth : Dragon : Head Dragon : Female M: Kiran & Vervada (dir.) Zynar (ind.) The female studied the new dragon that the Queen was approaching. She flicked her tail around, gently holding Kiran back. 'Don't interfere with them,' she said gently. 'She can take care of herself. And they wouldn't dare hurt her.' A puff of smoke escaped her nose. 'Nor would they dare to disobey the rules.' Neryth's gaze drifted to the other dragons, watching closely. A smaller dark blue and black female had found her partner as well, based on movements towards a young female in the line. Her gaze drifted to the angry purple female, who was eyeing another girl in the line. 'Oh dear. This one may need a nudge.' Neryth sighed, her wings twitching a little in small flippy waves. 'I'll be right back,' she said to Kiran, before padding over to the female. Her approach was cautious, not confrontative. She stopped a few feet from the other female, her wings folded back so she wasn't quite as threatening, though she still towered over the other dragons, being much older than them. 'Hello,' she said, attempting to make her voice less threatening, though she wasn't very good at it.
