Glory || Mentions: Shi, Family, Ibex

Glory did nothing but follow Shi, racing after her, barreling it towards the forest. Behind her, she heard angry shouts and yells, rapid gunfire was still blowing up the shop, then she noticed a van.. not two, were driving right at them, running over signs and the curbs. Ah shit. The large lupine, urged herself to run faster, her heart racing at a speed she hadn't experienced in a long while, and it physically ached. They were fast, but so was Ibex, and with vehicles that needed no stamina, they were really screwed. She saw a dip, a culvert on the right side, about 50 feet ahead, and she had a plan.

The lycan looked back behind her, to see the guns propped out the windows, and Glory shoved the wolf towards the culvert, leaping over it, her focus back to the forest. Behind her, a van had attempted to go into the culvirt, but didn't make it back out. Unfortunately, the other one was still on their tails. As soon as they coudl hit the tree-line, they would be ok.. right? She ignored the fact Jackson was speaking, irritated to what he was saying right now. How could he even say that in front of his children!? Was he mad!? She bumped her back end up, pushing Jackson farther up her back with a low growl.

Glory glanced back, and winced, hoping she wouldn't burn her family. She opened her jaw wide, unhinging it almost, like a venemous snake. Afterwards, a spewing range of fire blew out from within her, lighting the van up quite quickly. It caught fire, and only in mere moments did it blow up in flames. She sighed in relief, not stopping. Then of course, she heard more vehicles behind her, and groaned in frustration.

As soon as Shadow ran up to stagger the soldiers, Malaki was there to put a bullet through their heads, not wasting a single round. I may not have incredible abilities like the others, but put a gun in my hands and I'm just as dangerous as the rest. A soldier falling behind him caused Malaki to falter, but a quickly placed bullet to the head fixed that problem. Malaki's inner pack rat was coming out, as he tried to jam as many clips into his pockets as he can, but soon enough he was full, having four clips for the rifle, not counting the one already within the rifle, which had a strap, allowing him to sling it over his shoulder. He also had a pistol, which he was down to one clip. Looks like I have to use the rifle. Malaki thought as he watched Shadow bump into a wall. Oh... he's blind. Now it makes sense. "We need to move back towards Sky. Once you finish off those, more is going to come. We need to make it to the skies. Don't complain, it might be the safest at the moment. You go first." Shadow said.

Malaki grabbed one of Shadow's hands and placed it on his shoulder, telling him to hold on as they moved through his house, aiming down the sights of the rifle in case a soldier appeared. Sure enough, a soldier showed up and Malaki put him down with five shots to the chest, causing blood to ooze from the wounds before Malaki stomped on his throat, crushing his windpipe and putting the soldier out of commission. "How close are we to Sky? And how many soldiers are near to her?" He asked Shadow, hoping that he would use his human UAV to warn him of the imminent threats.

Malaki would once again have to face his fear as Sky took off, but a sudden realization made him groan. I left my backpack in the hotel in Cali... I could have carried so much stuff with that bag... He got over himself as bullets ripped around Sky as she climbed higher into the sky. Please tell me that they don't have helicopters... Malaki wished as he held tightly to the rifle, while also holding onto the saddle. "So... where are we going specifically? Fleeing somewhere is good, but if we don't know where to go, then we might as well be stuck at that house." He said as he could still hear gunshots being fired below them.

It was a good thing he practiced controlled falls as a part of his wrestling training, because when Sky landed, Malaki was bucked off and he had to land correctly, otherwise he would risking injuring himself. He stuck out his legs and performed a controlled roll before standing up, rubbing his stomach after parts of the sight jammed into his gut during the roll. "What's wrong?" Malaki said, slinging the rifle across his back before getting a better look at Sky. "Damnit. She's been hit." He mumbled as he saw the bullet in Sky's shoulder. She tried to stand on her feet, but she collapsed again. "Where is Flame when we need her?" Malaki heard Shadow say as he searched for where she was hurt. After walking a loop around her to make sure nothing else was wrong, and after a look around to make sure no immediate threats were coming, Malaki turned back to Shadow and Sky. "So... I'm guessing that you can't just transform into another beast and the bullet just pops out." He said, not really knowing what else to say.
