Malaki: Mentions: Sky "Look at the view!" Sky said, clearly enjoying the trip, but Malaki was not. Don't look down, don't look down, don't look down... Malaki tried not to panic as Sky continued to fly, moving quickly over the trees as she flew him over to the hotel she knew about. Eventually, after what seemed like an eternity, Sky circled around and landed by the river, letting Malaki get off. Malaki took a few shaky steps before regaining his composure. "You can rent out a room there. In the morning, we can go searching for the others. I can meet you here in the morning." She said. Malaki nodded and walked inside the inn. It wasn't anything fancy, but it wasn't a dingy inn either. "Hello sir, staying the night?" The person behind the counter asked him. He said yes and wished for a room and how much it cost, with the price turning out to be 68 dollars. Malaki grabbed his walled and counted the bills, realizing that a night would only leave him with 20 dollars to his name. Crap. I really shouldn't rent a room for the night, but... Malaki slapped the cash on the counter, and after getting his key, walked over and threw his backpack off. After a modest 20 minute shower, Malaki felt refreshed as he put on his clothes. That felt good. Now all I have to do is wait, I guess. Malaki looked around his room and turned anything that had a camera towards the wall, paranoia getting the better of him. Was this a mistake? If Ibex come rolling in here and ask for me, that lady behind the counter could rat me out. As he mulled it over in his mind, he heard a voice he hadn't heard since his time within Ibex. "Well maybe you should leave; tell that Sky girl that you had a change of heart and say that you want to rough it out for another night. You've been sleeping outside for years, so what would hurt sleeping in that tent for one more night?" The voice said, which Malaki named Benny. No. I already paid for this room, and besides I needed to take a shower anyway, plus the soft bed will help me catch some z's when I need to go to bed. "Malaki, if you stay here, Ibex will know where you've been and they can track you down. You must leave here and stay off the grid for as long as you can. You don't want Sky to get captured because of you... right?" He shook his head, not letting Benny talk him out of the room. I'm staying here for the night, and that's final. He didn't hear a counter-argument from Benny, so with that, he went to work, taking stock of his situation and enjoying some of the amenities that were offered.

Ahmya and Elea I I Mentions: Dread and Ota
Elea sighed, hearing the crying child and Dread's request to take them. Ahmya didn't even make a move to help her own child, which Elea was used to, but still it was a lot for the woman. Elea did her best to sit up and try to grab the child. She felt sick and exhausted, she didn't want to deal with teh crying child, she could barely sit up on her own, much less worry about all the child that wasn't hers. She managed to grab the little one and handed them carefully up to Dread. Her winced, feeling some discomfort in her stomach as her baby moved around. "Sorry Ota." Elea said, even though it wasn't her child nor her responsibility. She wasn't sure how he'd handle having another child, it's not like they planned on it. She sat back and closed her eyes, putting her hands over her stomach. She felt sick in the car.
~~ Ahmya watched as Elea handed her crying child to Dread. She wasn't getting near that thing, her thing that was. It was her baby's, but she never had taken an interest in it. She sometimes didn't mind the baby when it was quiet, but when it was crying she wanted nothing to do with it. She was a horrible mother and she knew it. She noticed something weird when the van sped up and furrowed her eyesbrows. "What's going on?" She asked, ldpoking up at the driver of the van, aka Ota. She ignored his stupid comment about shutting up the crying baby if it didn't shut up. She understood his feelings on the situation.

Dread and Ota Mentions: Ahyma and Elea Dread starts patting the baby on the back while settling it against his chest. He doesn't even bother to look at Ahyma, with the woman having little care about their child. Well, his since she barely involves herself in the baby's life. Dread sighs with regret on his mind, and he leans against his seat. He was regretting this whole thing-mostly his relationship with Ahyma. Even with the others here, the man still feels like a single parent. As they pulled up to the house, Ota was quiet than usual. "Nothing. I think I left the stove on by mistake." Dismissing his sister's words, and dash inside after grabbing the diaper bag. His eldest son rushes in after his father, asking his dad to play with him. The boy grabs his hand, stopping his father for a brief moment. "Come play with me, dad." Ota stares at his son, pulling his hand away, "I'm busy." He storms off upstairs to put the diaper bag away in the closet. Dread enters the home with the baby that was asleep and helping Elea get back inside. He was curious as to why she's still with Ota, let alone have the guts to sleep with him and getting pregnant again. "Are you and Ota fighting again?" He helps her sit down on the couch in the living room once further inside their home.

Elea I I Mentions: Dread and Ota
Elea was great full for Dread's help. She wasn't doing very good in her pregnancy, she was running on empty and she hadn't even had the baby yet. She sat down on the couch, sinking into it and letting out a deep sigh. "I don't know where we're at Dread. I'm so tired, I can barely function. I'm so weak and any energy I have left goes into helping with the baby. I don't even have anything left to invest in our relationship." She said, starting to cry. She felt so emotional and vulnerable and weak. She did her best to stop crying and flash Dread a weak smile. "Sorry. I'm assuming you and Ahmya are are fighting? I know she's really checked out... she probably needs some help with the baby... she seems depressed." Elea murmured, trying to change the subject. She rubbed her stomach slightly, closing her eyes as she felt sick again. Her thin figure wasn't a good sign, but no one really seemed to care, especially not Ota. Finley Neil Blake | Male | 26 | Ambi/Single | Apres-Gay/Demi-Gay | Nevada | Mentions; Shadow(Ind/Dir), Open. “There are several other mutants than just me and you. We are scattered for the time being. . .but I feel we will draw together sooner than expected. Ibex isn't gone as expected. I can feel them close.” -- Finley looked at him, unsure. After all, the idea of feeling them nearby was quite the concept. It made him wonder why he couldn’t feel them. Was it because his feelings were so muddled? Or was this the more metaphorical feeling, like a sense of dread that one simply assigned a reason to? -- He felt a slightly stronger pulse as Shadow spoke again, “If one comes here, it would be better to ally them, not to kill them. Don't think its gone unnoticed.” -- The element powers again, this time with the wind aspect. Finley didn’t react, simply curled his own closer to him. The blind man obviously wasn’t as well versed in the wind element as he was, at least. Finley watched as Shadow sat on a branch, another one holding the cane. He watched as one came down to him, most likely to let him sit on it. He waved a hand at it, as if saying no. -- “I'm sure you have questions, ask away.” -- Finley looked at Shadow again, and thought for a moment. “I only have one, to be honest. How do you feel them nearby? Is it by your locating ability? And I don’t mean the power detection one, but the sensing location one.”

Nyx || Mentions: Sephtis, Levushka, Blade, Abominations Nyx was silent the entire time, as soon as she saw Sephtis, there was no way around it. She wouldn't be able to free herself, not with these disgusting Abominations. She hung her head low, her life was nothing but a race. A race of survival, and she hated it. Sephtis was going to be back... Ibex wasn't gone.. it was just the beginning of the end. When she saw Levushka racing towards her, she felt her wrists being released, and she flung herself forward, wrapping her arms tightly around him. She stuttered a word quietly, but stopped, and dug her head into Lev's shoulder, tears running down her cheeks. She was paranoid, afraid, anger, even furious, while scared all at the same time. Her two main concerns were Levushka and her child.. what would happen if Sephtis found out she was pregnant with Lev's child? Did he know already? Would he kill her and her child? Or would he force her birth, the child being born prematurely with issues? Her eyes watered at the thought of any possible, horrid outcomes, once tears turned into sobs. She refused to let her stomach roll back out, until the day of her birth, she would need to keep it hidden.. she had to. As they arrived home, Nyx's first thing was continuing to hold onto Lev, her cheeks, and Lev's shoulder soaked in tears. "I-..I am sorry-" she began, her jaw quivering, "I should have went.. and-and found you sooner." Her stifled sobs were quiet, almost like a whisper. Her hands clenched his shirt, her body heaving. She wanted Ibex gone, but they were all cockroaches. No matter what you did, they always came scurrying back for more, and it made her exhausted, and afraid. Dakota || Mentions: Levushka, Nyx Dakota had cleaned up the house, and was quite worried as to what happened when she left. She heard sounds outside, quiet voices, and she looked out the window, to see Nyx and Levushka. But.. something seemed- off. She walked up to the door, and opened it slowly, to see that Nyx was actually sobbing. Her eyes widened in fear, and her first thought was the baby. Did she loose it? Is it ok? She didn't run, but she walked over slowly, examining the issue. When she got close enough to see Nyx's stomach, she almost gasped and scream but she thought for a moment, realizing she probably suck her stomach in like how she did with her wings. "What.. what happened?" She asked in a soft voice, placing a hand gently on her siblings shoulder, and she glanced at Levushka. Nyx never cried, not like this.

Levushka Mentions: Nyx and Dakota Levushka was silent while Nyx was sobbing. His shoulder was drenched with her tears, his lips thinning, "No. Don't be sorry. I'm sorry for leaving you alone and suffering for so long. I'm the one that should apologize." He pulls her closer to his body, cradling the crying woman, and places his head against hers. "I'm not going to leave your side for now on. I can't allow no more harm to the only light I have." When he sees Dakota, his eyes grew dark when she asked that question. He wasn't in the mood to talk, but he has to. "A man kidnapped, beaten, and even try to convince her to stay despite the pain he caused her and the baby." His tone was hostile, but it wasn't directed at Dakota. "Sephtis is back alive, which means Ibex is back. However, if he's working with them or not is a big question left unanswered." He calms down thinking about the baby, and he enters the home. "I'm going to have to see if the baby is okay. I have to." Carrying Nyx to the bedroom, and places her down on the bed. He sits down beside her, placing a hand on her stomach, and his eyes start to glow. Lev starts checking further: broken bones, vein ruptures, inflamed organs. All possibilities need to be checked. Lev's unknowingly tensed body relaxes, and he kisses Nyx on the forehead. "The baby is okay. When I healed your injuries, it healed the baby as well." Placing a hand on her cheek, twirling his thumb over her cheekbone. "I'm truly am a terrible husband and soon, I would be a terrible father." Pulling his hand back to his side, staring out the window of the bedroom. Standing up to close the curtains, getting a bit paranoid now.

Nyx || Mentions: Dakota, Levushka Dakota winced, knowing not to ask any other questions. She tucked her hands into her sweater puckets, and they curled slowly, angering her. This guy had some nerve kidnapping my sister.. I swear when I see him- she had began, but Nyx heard her, and spoke, "Its ok Dakota.." her voice trailed off, her eyes half opened. Nyx could feel her sister rubbing her back, backing away to let her and Levushka through. A few moments went by, and she was in her bedroom, and she was lying on her side, scared to find out if her baby was harmed. Her hands slowly made their way to her stomach, and she began tearing up again, horrified to what was about to be said. "The baby is okay." She sighed in relief, wiping her face of her tears, her body was tense, but was slowly relaxing. As Levushka spoke of himself being a terrible husband and father, she glanced at him, and sat up slowly, looking at him with honest eyes. "Don't you dare.. you are of no such thing, and never will be. You are going to be a great father," she spoke in a quiet voice. She stood up, walking over to Levushka, wiping her face, leaning against him. "As long as you live, you are not comparable to 'horrible'. Not in the slightest."

Dread Mentions: Elea Seeing Elea's current state, he sighs and turns away. Who knows if she'll live to see the baby, especially when the time comes for her to give birth. Why wasn't Ota worried about her? Why is he keeping his distance from her? Hell, even Ahyma is avoiding him. He would get shouted at if discussing simple things with her. About the baby. They haven't bothered coming up with a name. Ahyma showing little care towards the child, and the weight of his family on his shoulders. "Are you speaking about Ahyma or yourself, Elea?" He kept his voice low, side-glancing Elea while saying that. Not wanting Ota or Ahyma to overhear, and for another fight to happen. "It's nice. Discussing such things without being shouted out is rather...pleasant." He chuckles, trying to lighten himself up. His attention turns to the baby, placing a hand on the child's cheek.

Levushka Mentions: Nyx Levushka nods his head, taking in Nyx's words, and wraps an arm around her shoulders. Could they even stay safe in Nevada? Is it safe anywhere else now that Ibex is back? Well, supposedly. He closes his eyes, taking in a deep breath, and tries to steer his mind off the topic. Not for his sake, but his wife's. He has to be strong for her, mentally and physically. "A warm bath sounds good." Turning to face Nyx, placing a hand on her cheek, "For you and me." Leaning forward, placing his forehead against the top of her head, "Drown all of our worries during that period." Pulling away from her when he hears his phone ringing, and he stares at it. "It's past office hours. Something's wrong." Walking over to his phone, pressing the answer button, and brings it to his ears. He hangs up after a while. His face was pale, but his eyes were full of anger. "Someone has stolen the bodies of dead members from our group. My mother's and father's bodies are gone." Collapsing onto the bridge, "Things keep getting worse and worse. They also took Zaphara's. I don't want to get an angry call from Cero."
