Ciaran | Male | Lone Vaewolf | Mentions:

His Boss (Indir.)

Ciaran groggily woke up to the alarm blaring on the nightstand beside his bed, his arm emerging from the sea of plushies and slamming his hand down to silence the alarm on his phone. With a groan, he rolled onto his side, the plushies moving with him, drowning him entirely of softness with a few scented ones burning into his nostrils. He exhaled, his mouth immediately filled with the fake fur of an axolotl plushie lying beside his head. His mouth clamped shut and recoiled back. “Sorry,” he muttered softly to the plushie, whose beady eyes were looking at him with such empty intensity. Silently accusing him of assaulting it with its mouth unprovoked. Ciaran frowns, turning the axolotl plushie away from so it faces the wall, before working on carefully removing the rest from his body. It took quite a bit, but he freed himself from his fuzzy engagement, heading downstairs to get himself something to eat.

Walking by more of his plushie collection; all of them scattered around the place like they were the ones paying the bills and he was the intruder. Ciaran entered the kitchen, making sure to pet one of the snake plushies hanging from the ceiling on his way there. Ciaran opened his freezer to see what he had. Frozen meat. Great. All of it was meat. Now, time to check the fridg- also meat. He should really expand more on his diet instead of just meat. With a sigh, he grabbed a packaged wrapped raw steak from the fridge and a frying pan. Getting ready to make himself some steak and steak (would’ve been eggs if he bothered to stay at the grocery store longer) then prepare for the rest of the day until his shift tonight. Ciaran removed the plastic wrap, and immediately, the smell of raw meat and blood intruded into his nose. His mouth wetter than the ocean itself as his fangs steadily increased in size as he eyed the raw delicacy in his hand. The copper eyes illuminating in the dark with such hungry intensity it puts shrews to shame. The pupils dilated, turning into slits as he prolonged staring at the food in his hand as his claws that sprung from his fingers dug into it.

He was about to chow down on it, yet he paused when he noticed something staring at him from the dark. A singular cow plushie posted on a table in the hallways directly in front of the entryway to the kitchen; gazing at him with a judgemental look. Quietly calling him an animal from the way he’s behaving, which is rich coming from a cow plushie that can’t even talk…or judge anyone for that matter. Ciaran snapped back to reality, his face fell as guilt overcame him. Him and the cow plushie having a staring contest from across the kitchen to the halls. Ciaran’s appearance reverts back to normal, the ferocity he once displayed diminishing, with his human empathy clouding his sense of beastie cravings. With a soft exhale, he placed the steak down and washed his hands, then strolled over to the cow plushie. His hands now cleaned, he gave the cow plushie a few pets, before turning it around so it faced away from him. “Sorry,” his voice gentle like a breeze, a small barely noticeable frown on his face.

A soft huff left him, scolding himself for his shameful actions as he re-entered the kitchen once again. He combed his fingers through his hair, his fingers then moved to twist the piece of white hair that adorned the dark locks. A habit he does when he’s anxious. Now that his mind was clear from exhaustion (and a bit of guilt), he was able to remember what will happen at work tonight. A big event that the owner of the House of Cards planned, and he could already tell that it would be one busy ass night. Socializing with people is bad enough for him, but when a mass of people are drunk, then it’s basically purgatory. Him standing behind the bar and unable to leave until his break, serving more and more drinks to a stampede of partygoers, being flirted with by people way out of his league as they screamed at him to talk over the loud music blaring in the background. By the Fangs, why did he apply for the job?

His eyes shifted to his paycheck that he left on the dining room table from last week, noticing the triple digits on the check, plus the $500 tips he earned just working three days was convincing him that it was all worth it in the end. More money equals more plushies to buy, after all. “Just hold on, Ciaran,” he reassured himself, “it’s just one night.” He felt a sense of reassurance fill his mind; granting him the confidence he needed for tonight. Just then, he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, so curiously, he took it out to read it. A message from his boss popping up on the lockscreen that reads: “Good news! The event will last for an entire week!” Ciaran’s face couldn’t have gone even paler as he read those haunting words - staring at it like they were some forbidden ancient verses he shouldn’t have read. Damn it. He had celebrated too soon and jinxed himself.

Calliope Leonatus | Second-In-Command Vampire | Mentions:

Coven, Kadel, Vincent, Samael (Indir.) Niemir (Dir.) open.

This new abode was not to her liking, not one bit. The mildew dripped from hidden sources, a stale air drifted around the wide open spaces and by god the echoes. It was tortuous. In fact, she was surprised that her beloved Samael had chosen this place at all, he had claimed it would be temporary and she dearly hoped that temporarily meant days, not months.

Calliope sat upon one of the only dry armchairs, leaning back into the high plush back. This warehouse had been used for storage, a variety of objects were strewn across the place and more to be discovered. Not that they were fashionable at all, no not at all. All hand-me-downs and items left to be taken to landfill. The stark contrast between her environment and the woman sat with her legs crossed was almost jarring.

Dressed in a white silken shirt, the collar left slightly open, a tightly cinched underbust corset secured on top, the red fabric deliciously similar to their favourite drink. Paired with velvet flared pants, unusual for her to not be dolled up in a dress, but this place threatened to ruin her lovely wardrobe. So it was time to break out the older classics. Her hair was down in rolling waves, a skinny cigarette lit and held by a slender tortoiseshell vintage cigarette hold, pinched between her forefingers.

Calliope took in a long drag of smoke, letting it fill her lungs before she puffed it out between her merlot painted lips. They had arrived here under the impression that they were searching for a girl, recently turned and apparently she had caught the attention of their leader. Then again, Samael worked in twisted ways, the actual reason behind their new habitat could be anything from boredom to total take over.

Flicking her legs from their crossed position, Calliope huffed again, tapping the stick and the ash fell to the ground beside her. It was early morning and that meant they had very little to do, at least until Samael gave them some sort of task. It wasn’t exactly a private space, she could see the other members of the small group pacing around. Kadel with his companion at his heels, trotting along closely.

Calliope rose to her feet, the soft clack of her red bottomed heels resounding out across the open space. She began to stride towards the younger members of their group, still to prove themselves completely to their group. Calli was still rather judgemental of them. In particular, Vincent. He was mute and that left him with a reduced ability to perform tasks, instead he was frequently sent on meandering and boring chores that other members could not be bothered carrying out. Shame really, he was a rather large male, he could have posed a good weapon. His lack of voiced communication and aggression left a lot to be desired in her eyes.

While her eyes lingered on Vincent for a few seconds, piercing through the dim light, she moved on. Bypassing the black haired individual, she targeted Niemir who was aimlessly rocking in a rickety wooden chair near where Kadel had set himself up. Upon her approach, he leaned up and cocked his head to the side. The three piece suit he was dressed in aged him greatly, showing that he was most definitely from a different time. His wide green eyes bore down upon her, waiting for her to talk.

“Shouldn’t you be making yourself useful, instead of swinging around like an infant?” Her voice was cold and sharp, her pale brown eyes narrowing in distaste. He was useful with medicine, but he had yet to prove his actual worth to the group. For the moment, he was following after Kadel like a lost french-speaking puppy that babbled all hours of the day. Frankly, he was insufferable.

Tatumn May Rhodes | Loner Werewolf | Mentions: none
It would have been a good morning for a run. The air was just a bit nippy, a slight breeze and some dark clouds gathering in the sky. Yeah, it would have been a good morning for a run if she hadn't been lost in a forest after god knows what happened to her.
Leaves rustled in the wind above Tatumn's head and she shivered. Her clothes were in tatters and barely hanging off her skinny frame. She desperately hoped to find a house or anything to ask for help or clothes or anything. Fear kept creeping up her spine and worming its way into her head and it was near impossible to keep her panic from taking over. What had happened to her? Had she done that to horrible thing to that little bunny rabbit? She really, really didn't want to think about that. But the little tuft of fur she found in the back of her teeth kept haunting her.

The most unsettling question that lay in the back of her mind was: would it happen again? If so, when?
Tatumn briefly wondered if her parents were worried about her, if they even knew she was missing. She thought it was still the same day, just later in the morning. She usually woke up before the sun rise to go for her morning run. It still seemed early, so hopefully too much time hadn't passed yet. It was supposed to be a conditioning day and so she was supposed to run about 8 miles, her parents might not even be expecting her home yet.

She shook her head and ran her grimy hands over her face. She looked around in exasperation, her brown eyes welling up with frustrated tears. On a whim, she decided to change direction, following a long forgotten instinct within her. After maybe half a mile trudging barefoot through the forest and stepping on a particularly nasty patch of thorns a building finally came into view. It looked a bit like a rundown cabin of sorts.

But mercy must have smiled upon her because there was a clothesline out to the side of the wooden cabin. Relief filled her as she gazed out at the small clearing. Looking just a bit more closely at the cabin, it didn't seem like anyone had been here in a while. She dashed to the clothesline and pulled off a men's large knit sweater and a pair of gray sweatpants that were too big for her. Thankfully they were clean. She couldn't see any shoes but figured she had been lucky enough. Hopefully no one would miss the clothes too much.

After making it safely back to the tree line, Tatumn shoved herself into the new clothes, tying the drawstring on her new pants as tight as it could go. They still hung off her waist just a smidge but at least they weren't in danger of falling down. Now she had to figure out how to get back to town, or find someone to help her. Her cheeks burned as she thought of how angry her mother would be at her for stealing.

Tatumn shook her head, she didn't need to think about that yet. Swallowing down any fear and anxiety, she decided to start walking in the direct she thought might lead her to a road or civiliazation.

Alexis Wolf - Lone Werewolf - Female - M: open
Alexis crawled out of her bed. She desperately does not want to do anything today. But alas, waking up is a thing. A silly song has been stuck in her head forever now. She hums it as she gets ready for the day. Donning a simple dark green shirt and dark jeans, she debates on grabbing a sweatshirt. Nah. Alexis grabs a granola bar with caffeine in it and heads to her work. Although it is only a somewhat short walk, she still manages to pass the werewolf house. Alexis hustles by, praying that they don’t smell her.

"Duffy" Marcello Dubhthaigh | Male | Lone werewolf | M:
Adromeda - Indirectly

Duffy was very much not out. Not yet at least. As much as he would have love to taunt the everliving hell out of his biker-buddy, it was far too early for that. He was still bissfully passed out. The picture of grace, splayed out across his couch with his hair in his face. It was a wonder he hadn't choked on it. His shirt and jacket were also tossed somewhere else, probably on the floor, yet he still had his boots on. Or one of them on. Problem for future Duffy.

He huffed, a gruff snort-like noise as some horribly insistent beating started up. Damn alarm clock. He aimlessly reached towards where his nightstand would have been if he had been sleeping in his bed. He opened an eye, cursing as he twisted around, arm waving around for the alarm clock that was not there. He kept this up until he finally forced himself into a sitting position, underestimating the size of the couch and managing to topple off instead, exclaiming a steady stream of profanities as he did so. Hells.

Welp. Guess this was his life now. He was just going to accept his fate on the floor instead. Or maybe this was a sign he finally had to get up. He groaned, running a hand through his hair before pushing himself up into a sitting position yet again, half leaning on the coffee table. He let out another pissy grumble before getting up, figuring yeah. He had to start his day. Damn him.

It didn't take the young man long to get up and out the door, already through on his leather jacket. He put on his helmet, immediately revving his mototrcyle. Music to his ears. He had neglected to get any groceries, like usual, so he headed down towards the main stretch of town. Maybe he could get some stupidly overpriced coffee and baked good thtat tasted like dust. Lucky him.

Jaedyn “Jae” Easton | Male | Pack Member |

Mentions: Faelin {Dir.}, Saul {Dir.}, Other Pack Members (Ind.}

It can’t be said that Jaedyn is an easily dismissable or overlooked presence, though perhaps most especially when he chooses to wear clothing that could only be considered an obnoxious assault on the eyes. Not that he particularly cared about style when he was blindly grabbing clothes in an early morning haze to change into following his weekly swim at the community pool.

Approaching the front door, he gave himself and the vibrant red, open worn puffer coat that swallowed most of his frame and the black T-shirt beneath it a quick pat down. If he had any concept of shame he might have felt out of place with the absurdity of the coat, which was all but necessary with the current weather, competing with basketball shorts in the shade of electric blue. Satisfied in feeling his wallet, keys, and the case for his glasses secure in the oversized pockets of the puffer, he finished his journey through the front door of the pack house.

As if the final stretch up to the packhouse wasn’t teasing enough with the acute scent of breakfast being produced, Jae felt his stomach react accordingly to the more potent wafts of food filling the inside of the structure. What was usually a brief detour to his room to dump his backpack that contained his swimwear, among other miscellaneous items, became a direct beeline toward the kitchen with food on the brain. With an entrance almost as loud as his outfit, Jae shrugged his backpack off his shoulder and into his right hand as he simultaneously surveyed the food and offered a wide grin to both Faelin and Saul.

“I don’t think there’ll ever be a time I won’t be excited for breakfast,” Jae shared, closing the distance toward the presentation of toast and taking a piece for himself while his hazel eyes still hungrily ventured over everything else available for consumption. “It really is the best meal of the day.” He added matter-of-factly before sinking his teeth into the plain toast and scarfing down a bite.

Dropping his bag at his feet and looking toward Saul, he gestured toward the medic. “Any plans today, doc? If you need any job security I was planning on trying out the skateboard I thrifted yesterday. Maybe at the skate park, or maybe I'll make a ramp.” Jae thought out loud as he tapped his foot to a silent beat. Some of his fellow pack members had sought out more consistent occupations in town, compared to Jae's more casual variety of odd jobs he'll secure for quick cash. Which also meant he couldn't always rope someone into pursuing some concept of shenanigans or other activities as frequently as he would like. Not that Jae minded doing whatever whim possessed him at any given moment alone, but he firmly believed in the classic ‘the more the merrier’ saying.

“Have you ever ridden a skateboard, Faelin? You look like someone that might,” having only briefly turned his attention to the morning chef, Jae then snubbed the fruit that was out in favor of getting a plate, or perhaps more accurately a trough, of food. Not without scouting what was out for grabs by rising onto his tip-toes to overlook what had been prepared, however, like a child ensuring his meal wasn’t tainted by hidden vegetables. Mushrooms he could live with though. Scooting his bag along the floor with his foot far enough so it was no longer puppy-guarding the area with the toast and fruit, Jae left it where it was and walked around to the other side of the counter and grabbed both silverware and a plate that he proceeded to top with a generous serving. “Thanks for breakfast,” Jae directed gratefully toward Faelin with a thumbs up following his return to the space his backpack occupied nearly just as quickly as he had left it.

Andromeda Orchid | Lone Vampire | Mentions:

Hardware store, Coffee shop, NPCs

With a soft sound, Andromeda pulled her helmet from her head and settled it on the flattened back of the seat, the town was small enough that she didn’t suspect anyone to run by and nick it. If they did, she’d find them in minutes from their scent. So either way, it would be safe.

Leaving her baby behind, she shrugged the bag from her back and hopped into the hardware store. Shouldering open the door quickly and slipping inside, she was fumbling around in the bag for her wallet. She always managed to lose the damn thing. Her preference was using cash, however she did keep a small bank account topped up with regular cash deposits to pay for things like bills, phone, rent all the things that an account was preferred for. Her largest amounts were always kept at home, she wasn’t stupid enough to bring it all out into town.

“G’morning, Mr. Wilson.” Andromeda chirped, still not looking up from her bag as she advanced into the aisles. Receiving a small greeting in reply, she finally grabbed the black leather and yoinked it out of the bag.

“You’re here early, Kid.” His comment drew a small laugh from her throat as she went sniffing through the merchandise.

“Wanted to get here before the rush.” Her sarcastic response elicited a humoured chuckle from beyond the tall displays. She wouldn’t be able to get spark plugs without a special order and at that point she may as well have them ordered online and delivered directly. Safety goggles it was then. She probably could have ordered it all online, but Mr. Wilson was a nice man. In his mid-fifties with a kind smile. He reminded her of a good father, homely and kind.

Drifting to the counter, she popped the clear plastic down onto the counter and pulled out a note to pass over towards him. “Here you go.” She hummed, pocketing the goggles into the back as he fished around for the change. Andromeda looked up and quickly shushed him as she told him to keep the change. “I don’t need the dollar, you’re alright.” With that, she bid him farewell and headed back outside.

The air was still crisp, a gentle mist still dusting the landscape, but soon it would all be burnt up by the rising sun. Something she was trying to avoid as well. Andromeda took a glance towards the strip of shops. Debating her next stop, she zipped up her bag and lifted it back onto her shoulders. The grocery store was still half open, someone was tugging a vegetable display out onto the front. A little too early.

Glancing the other way, she spotted the coffee shop and accompanying little food shacks open. That could be a waste of time, not that coffee tasted very nice. However, a hot chocolate. That sounded good to her.

Andromeda turned and began to wander down the street towards the shop. She knew there were wolves prancing all over the shop here, but for the moment she had no quarrel with them. After all, she wasn’t trying to kill them and they weren’t trying to kill her. So what was the point in making a fuss?

As she approached the glass door, a little pamphlet taped near the handle made her pause and read it. House of Cards presents… Her eyes trailed further down, cocking her head. It seemed like there was supposed to be a big event at the local bar, club, whatever it was. Maybe she could test her progress there, lots of humans. As her mind began to drift to something darker, the door was pulled from her grasp and she almost fell forwards.

Someone had opened the door from the inside and she hadn’t let go of the handle. With a flustered apology, she weaselled her way inside and tried to pretend that she had not just almost fallen face first into the place.

Approaching the counter, she ordered her little almond hot chocolate and waited patiently to the side. Appreciative of the heater that was running and the lovely concoction of smells that drifted around the room. Whilst she didn't enjoy the taste of coffee, the smell was delightful. Tinged with teas, perfumes of the women working. She always did enjoy that part of her new life, everything smelled lovely. Well, for the most part. Things that smelt terrible before made her want to retch now, but she could accept that trade off.

Corrie | Female | Ravik Beta Female | Mentions: Ikaris, those in the Kitchen
At first, nothing but a soft, floaty feeling. Drifting, drifting. Peaceful. Then... a slightly unsettling sensation. From fuzzy warm to stark, sober chill, a solemn dark knowledge filtering into her perception as though something was behind her, and about to strike...
BREEP
BREEP BREEP
BREEP-BREEP
BREEEEEE - EEEEEEEE - EEEEEEEP.
She jumped up into an abrupt sitting position, heart pounding, hair mussed, eyes wide and breath in heaving pants before she growled deep in her throat irritatedly and smacked her alarm clock hard enough to make it emit a cracking noise on impact. She couldn't make herself feel guilty about any damage it took, putting her head between her knees instead and puffing out a breath.
It'd been a while since she'd had that kind of anxiety-provoking dream - the kind that insidiously convinced her that she'd die if she turned around, the sensation lingering around her shoulders like a cloak - or a shroud. Grimacing, she made her way to the bathroom and began the painstaking process of going from 'someone that just woke up in a panic' to 'the movie adaptation of someone that just woke up in a panic' and then, from there, to 'someone that has their shit together'.
She checked her watch, saw the time, and frowned as she scented the air in the hallway on her way back down to the kitchen. Ikaris isn't here, she assumed, from how long ago it felt like he'd left his scent. Better call him.
Then again - should she bother him? Never knew what the man was up to. With a little sigh, she settled for a text - "Hope you're alright. Call me if you need anything. -C".
Then into the kitchen she went - and she hummed throatily at the smell of food. Her stomach rumbled to life, only now rediscovering what it meant to hunger after its dormant state between sleep and panic. Now, though, it roared to life within her, a crackling fireplace eager for fuel. Something she'd learned to get used to early into her life as a wolf was the high metabolism, the ever-ravenous stomach.
"Any extra, or should I put something together?" she asked, nonchalant and unphased by the prospect of putting something together for herself. It was a lot of work to cook for everyone in the packhouse, and she didn't make assumptions on whether she had been accounted for.

Niemir Archambeau | Medic Assistant Vampire | Mentions:

Calliope, Vincent (Dir.) Kadel, Samael (Indir.)

They had been dragged across the country to make it to where they were currently residing and frankly it was a dump. In both the figurative and literal sense, it was a dump. The sound of stale water dripping into puddles in the corners of the warehouse adding that last little bit of disgusting ambience. Niemir could not /wait/ until they were back in some luxury apartment or cabin or anything other than here. He hoped that Samael was feeling benevolent and would gift them a glorious mansion, but that was wishful thinking.

He had helped Kadel in setting up their temporary medical station, only the basics unpacked as they were not sure how long they would be remaining here. It had taken them a good while to organise the area, especially with his mentor being so particular about where the bandages should go and blah blah blah. Now, he had settled into one of the only unbroken chairs, trying to balance himself on one leg to entertain himself. The place was so quiet, these people were so quiet.

At that thought, he leaned his head backwards as he tipped the chair precariously far back, his hair falling towards the floor as his upside down head peered over towards Vincent. At least he had a reason to be so…eerily silent. The others were simply high strung in Niemir’s opinion. Then he felt the chair wobble and his green eyes flew open wide as he began to lose his balance. A sharp thud of the chair returning to the ground and a swift sigh of relief, Niemir had nearly toppled himself over backwards.

Oh and now the ever so lovely Calliope was walking over to him, the soft click of her heels a dead give away to her steady approach. He watched her observe their group, giving a particularly sharp look towards Vincent before she rounded on him. The movement billowing the smoke from the cigarette at the end of its holder, held delicately between two fingers.

“Shouldn’t you be making yourself useful, instead of swinging around like an infant?”

Niemir resisted the urge to sneer towards her, she never gave him a break. Since he had joined, the second in command had had it out for him. Sending him out on impossible tasks only to scold him upon his empty-handed return. He relaxed back into the chair, extending an arm over the back of it.

“I have no orders to carry out any tasks, Calliope. What else can I do but linger and succumb to my boredom?” He chided, lips splitting into a sly smile, the tips of his fangs poking out just the tiniest bit. “Unless Samael has bestowed a task upon me?” Niemir leaned forwards once more, placing an elbow on one knee to suppose his weight as he looked around the warehouse dramatically. “Say, where is our beloved leader?” Niemir cocked his head back up towards Calliope, who was staring down at him with so much malice in her gaze but it only made his smile widen into a grin.

“Vincent and I are dying to explore this town.” He groaned, keeping up the theatrics, his head tipped back so that only his neck and jaw could be seen before sharply snapping it back down. “Right, Vince?” He twisted in the chair to look over at the larger male, amusement glittering in his eyes despite the dark room. He barely left time for a response before flinging an arm out in gesture towards him, turning his head back towards Calliope. “See? Dying.” Niemir finished, slumping back into his chair, causing a few wrinkles in the black vest strapped to his chest.

Faelin Kelly | Pack Werewolf | Mentions:

Saul, Jaedyn, Corrie (Dir.) Ikaris, All other pack members (Indir.)

Faelin had finished sliding all of the food onto their respective plates when he heard the clattering in the hallway, with the tiniest flinch of movement he glanced to the door. No one had come into the room, but someone had returned home. Continuing his morning shuffle, Faelin began stacking up the cooking implements and placing them into the sink. He could deal with those later, right now the scent of his own cooking was making his mouth water. Quite literally, he could feel the saliva forming beneath his tongue.

Then as he turned around, Jaedyn had burst his way into the room, the door shuddering a little as it closed behind the brightly coloured man. It took him little time to settle into the kitchen and begin digging into the prepared food, in fact Faelin had barely gotten one piece of bacon onto his plate before the man had begun shovelling food into his mouth. Faelin said nothing, only offering a small friendly look towards him, as polar opposite as they were, he did enjoy the other male’s company. Especially on their patrols and hunts, he brought a little bit of energy to the event, even if Faelin mostly enjoyed the quiet.

Faelin placed a meagre amount of food onto his plate, preferring to leave the rest for the others, settling at the opposite side of the island. Remaining standing, he gathered a knife and fork and began to slice away a piece of fried egg when he blinked quickly upon hearing his name. Looking up to where Jaedyn sat opposite him, he offered a nervous smile.

“I can’t say I have ever tried.” He hummed lowly in response, pausing to clear his throat a little. “I think I would fall over like a newborn fawn.” Faelin gave a small chuckle, more to himself than anyone in the room. He was too lanky to be going that fast on wheels, he would end up causing an injury.

“Mm, you’re welcome Jaedyn.” Faelin offered after he had devoured a mouthful of his breakfast. He was about to bring up the day's tasks, including the whereabouts of their most important members when one of them walked into the room. Corrie strode in with an heir of confidence befitting her role within the house, gliding into the space and gaining their attention with ease. In fact, both of the betas set Faelin a little on edge. He did not want to upset them, Ikaris he had been around for a very long time. The betas on the other hand, while he had known them for a while, he did not particularly engage in long conversations with them.

“Oh, of course not. There’s plenty.” He gestured towards the spread he had just finished perfecting. “There should be enough for everyone.” Faelin gave a small dip of his head, eyes trailing towards the kitchen door once more. There were still two missing important players, but perhaps they were busy with other matters. Matters that he had no say in, thus he would not question their whereabouts.

Faelin had mostly finished his small meal before he piped up again, voice still quiet with a rough gravel. “Uhm, Corrie.” He glanced over towards her, his ever hunched shoulders shifting to face her. “Do you need anything done today?” He offered, usually they were tasked with stocking their freezer or general errands. With winter in bound, collection of meat was likely. He hoped he would be sent out on a hunt, it was peaceful in the forest and he deeply enjoyed it.
