Temari || 3 Years || Female || Strays United Guard || M: Freya, Quilo, Alha, Frodo, Kenai, Finley(dir)
...
Temari ears dropped when the female hadn't paid her much mind, watching as she moved over to the leader. She frowned briefly watching her new friend bound after the lanky dog, groaning softly her paws slowly followed the other husky.
.
She didn't totally pay attention to the conversation until she noticed Alha turn to her, standing up straight her tail raised at attention. Glancing at Freya when she was told to go to the dens with her, sighing she dipped her head and motioned with her tail for the dog to follow. Trotting over to the females den, she felt her shoulder protesting as pain shot through her leg. Stopping by the den entrance she smiled gently to Freya, "this is us, the guys are over there" she motioned her nose to each den as she called them out, "the leader's den is over there and the medic's is over there".
.
Her gaze drifted to the other dogs as the moved about, pausing briefly on Alha where she sat. Temari huffed roughly and dipped her head to the female, "go get rest Freya, it's warmer in there" her voice sounded as she moved away. Making her way back to the entrance Temari stubbornly sat with her back to camp, her eyes scanning the treeline for movement. Ears alert swivled at what sounded like a yelp a short ways off. Instinct drove her to her feet, large paws crunching over the light dusting of snow. The scent hit her just as the figure came into view, skipping harsly to a halt Temari tilted her head with her tail raised.
.
She didn't want to frighten the dog, but she was technically tresspassing. "Hello, are you okay?" Temari asked, her gaze spotting the signs of a fall. She hesitated for a moment unsure of how to react to this stranger. The snow clung to her coat but she shook it off with ease, the cold had never been much of a problem for her.

Kenai || 3 Years || Male || Strays United Guard || M: Alha, Temari, Freya, Frodo, Quilo
...
Kenai felt like his head had been torn in three different directions all at once, frowning faintly when he watched his sister drag herself over to the group. However his head swivled back when he heard Quillo offer to take Frodo to the dens instead, he tilted his head unable to comprehend the male's energy. Glancing back at the small dog he shrugged "sure, be my quest", he grumbled moving away from the group. Pausing when he spotted Temari by the den with the other new dog Freya, turning annoyed when his sister moved to guard the entrance. While he knew the cold wouldn't bother her, he knew it would make her injury act worse.
.
Sighing roughly Kenai shook his head, padding over to the alpha. Taking a silent seat a short distance beside the female, his gaze scanning the trees. He dipped his head repectfully to her when she noted his presence, "I'm not going to let you sit out here alone". His voice might've been harsh but he just didn't want her to be cold, he understood that some didn't have such a thick coat as he and his sister. She may be his alpha but that didn't mean he wasn't going to look out for her well-being as well, that would just be wrong. After all, she can't lead if she gets sick, right? Kenai kept an ear turned towards the female, so she knew he was listening regardless.

|Sundown|M|Raven|M: Ore, Bardou, Willow, Shalah|

Sundown came closer to Bardou, his eyes narrowed, scanning the female. His golden eyes full of worry for her, glancing over his shoulder to see whom she was talking to. He let out a deep breath, his worry bubbling over. He wanted to help her desperately, but he was unsure what more he could do for her. He scanned her once more. "Bardou, I need you to stay here, and don't move please, I don't want you bleeding more," He looked outside to the heavy snow fall, "I'm going to go and get Ore, and some more webs, and I'll be back." Sundown looked at her with pity. He knew that his packmate hated it, but he just couldn't help it. She was strong, he was sure of it.

As he left the den, he looked back at her, hearing her tail thump from Shadow's call. Did she... Nah. Sundown watched her tense up, why? He sniffed the air, catching no reason as to why she would be acting this way. "Bardou, please, you need to be calm. It's alright, nothing is going to harm you here, your packmates will make sure of it." His voice was soft, his head down as he looked at her, presenting himself as docile. He wasn't sure what was a threat to her, but he didn't want to present as one. He stepped out into the snow, fluffing his coat up and quickly running across the way to the medics den.

He was disapointed to see Willow back, his head shaking at the sight of her. Hadn't he told her to take it easy? Where was Brute? Safe to assume that he'd gone out with her. He glanced over at Mairea, eyeing her, trying to decide what was different. Hmm. Not his main worry at the moment. His head sharply turned to Ore, watching her silently for a moment, the snow on his back melting in the heat of the den. He took a deep breath, shaking, but not sure if it was from the cold or for the worry for Bardou. "Ore.. We have a problem." He wanted her attention before he spoke again. Once he got it, he started up again, "Bardou," He looked at the other females in the den. He wasn't ever a fan of discussing injuries or sicknesses in earshot of other paients, wanting to keep it private always.

He moved closed to his mentor, her scent washing over him like a comforting blanket. He let out another sigh, relaxing his body as he leaned into her. "Bardou is in critical need of your care." He looked into her eyes, anxiety all over his face. "I'm- I'm afraid she might not make it. She's losing a ton of blood, half of her face is.. well, gone, and I'm afraid that she'll react poorly with trama from her injury. I gave her ginger and a poppy seed and brought over some cobwebs." He paused, allowing her to chew up the information before carring on. "Another medic, a dog, joined, I don't recall where she is from, but I know that she brought goldenrod, echinacea, and more ginger, as well as more webs. I would really appreciate if you would come and assist us. I'm not sure why Willow or Mairea is here, but I do believe that our Beta is a bit more important at the moment." Sundown ducked his head as he backed away from Ore, giving her back her personal space.

He headed straight for the webs, wondering what else he might need. He glanced over at it, but nothing stood out to him. With one last look at Ore, Sundown left the den once again to get Bardou something to eat. While losing the amount of blood she did, and having a long day, he figured that her blood sugar might be low. He quickly picked out some of the fresher deer that Shadow had brought in.

.

As Sundown entered the den, he looked at Shalah. "Thank you for coming." He said with a nod. His attention went straight back to the Beta. "Bardou, stay awake for me please?" He knew that sleeping after a tramatic incident wasn't good. "Ore will hopefully be joining us shortly." He said to Shalah, nosing the meat towards Bardou. He knew that he was the lesser experinced Medic in the den, wanting to step back and let the older ones take the lead. Unsure as to what to say, he looked at Shalah, willing her to take the lead until Ore came. As he waited, he gazed at her, noting many things about her. "I'm not sure as where to start.." he said, his gaze once again on the Beta, his eyes flicking from one part of her injury to another.

Shalah | F | Medic | SUP | M: Sundown, Bardou, Ore(ind)
Shalah listened to Bardou's explanation for leaving before dipping her head. "Well, your stuck with me for a little while. Stay calm for now and I'll look at your wounds again. It seems you reopened a few of them with your little journey there." Shalah said before hearing Shadow's howl. Oh good, he was back. Perhaps he would look in on her before he headed off for the night. Flame moved off but then Bardou tensed up, elevating some blood running out of her wounds. The scent that had wafted in was not jaguar. But Bardou wouldn't know the difference right now right?

Shalah licked one of Bardou's ears, her touch gentle while she let her voice drift over the female. "No need to fret dear, there is no sign of the jaguar. Shadow probably ran into a smaller cat this evening." She said before hearing scuffling and pawsteps. At the greeting, she flicked an ear, "Of course. I don't let my patients leave that easily." She teased slightly, flicking her tail against his side. She noted the meat and nodded her approval before unwrapping her bundle of herbs. Sorting through them, her ear swiveled slightly as the apprentice spoke before replying in a patient tone.

"It is best if we stop those wounds from bleeding. She has lost enough blood as it is. Do not worry about her face for the time being, it is not in the critical condition of killing her." She said before pawing some cobwebs over to him. "Stretch those out and chew up some goldenrod and echinacea to put on there. Do not put the webs on the wounds until I have cleaned them." Standing up, she walked out of the den before hurrying towards one of the paths. There were a few wolves around, but she ignored them, focused on her task. Coming to one of the trees, she clawed at the moss at the base before taking it to a small stream. Sponging up as much water as she could, she carried the wet moss back to the den.

Shalah placed one on the floor before taking the other wad and squeezing it over the wounds on Bardou's back. "It will sting here for a few moments Bardou. Stay awake for me dear, we are almost finished." Shalah said in a stern voice, making sure the female was awake as she cleaned the wounds. She finished with her current wad a moss, plopping it down next to the other one. Instead of picking it up, she moved back over to Sundown. Once he was finished with them, she helped to plaster them onto the wounds before going back to pick up the wet wad of moss.

Scooting around the male, she placed it in front of Bardou before saying gently, "I need you to drink some water and eat something Bardou. We need to get your strength back. You can go to sleep as soon as Sundown is finished putting ginger on your minor wounds." Shalah laid down next to the female, waiting for her to start eating while watching the apprentice work and waiting for their medic to join them.

Willow || 6 Years || Female || Raven Queen || M: Ore, Mairea, Sundown(ind)
...
She smiled sheepishly when the medic returned and had started chastising her for injuring herself again, feeling like she was being scolded by her own mother. Which brought a odd feeling to her chest, Willow lowered her head her ears trained on the other female. "I'll be more careful and will stay in camp till it's healed" she confirmed with Ore, pausing as she glanced at Mairea with a smile. "Of course, she should be the one to share the news" Willow voiced softly.
.
Laying her head down she mannaged to get comfortable again, despite the stinging of the herbs on her shoulder. Resisting the urge to itch or chew at the area, her gaze shifted to the entrance where she could see the snow flurries passing by. Winter was closing in and she found herself not quite comfortable with the change, sighing rougly Willow closed her eyes willing herself to sleep.
(sorry it's on the short size)

Alha | F | Alpha | SUP | M: Kenai, Loki & Harry(ind)
Alha watched the river, her head somewhere else. When she heard the pawsteps, she tilted her head slightly before looking over at the male. His harsh tone made her smile softly, her mind suddenly drifting off to a day in the past. She knew Kenai was sitting nearby, but that didn't stop her from saying, "We've come a long way, haven't we old friend?" Her words drifted in the wind and she closed her eyes before another cold wind passed through her fur, causing her to shiver. A chuckle escaped her as she glanced, almost wistfully in the direction of town.

Finally coming out of her thoughts, she said in Kenai's directions, "Silly ole me, thinking about the past. There was many a good time but time will always pass. Come, we must go get warm and sleep out the storm. You can hunt in the morning, once the snow has settled." She gave a worried glance towards the mountains before dipping her head silently. I hope you are well my sister. Be safe. Watch over her Shadow. She thought before turning to trot back to the camp.

Alha had just stepped into the makeshift camp when the little red foxhound came up beside her. "I am sorry we took so long my alpha. We were going to check the traps we laid out yesterday but we did not make it there before your call. We will check them out and hunt tomorrow." Loki said, his ears perked as she looked at him. She nodded, too tired to question his look which was of concern. Concern for her? Pfft, not from the trickster. She walked past him towards her den, not noticing his concerned look after her. Alha did hear his retreating footsteps to the hunters den. She laid down in a corner of the den, her tail curling around the empty spot next to her. Normally, her sister would cuddle close and they would keep each other warm.

Alha started at that fact. Ever since the dog pack had formed, she and Shalah hadn't spent a night apart. She hoped she would be alright. Shivering, Alha curled up, falling into a restless sleep.

Finley / F/ Stray/ M: Anyone/
The young dog panted as she made her way through the forest, her paw was in pain and it was even harder with the winter snow flowing into her face the whole time. Finley squinted her eyes to see if she could find anyone or anything but it was no use, the snow was making her lose her scent having her losing her tracks. At this point Finley starts to think she in going in circles loosing focus from the pain.
She knew her paw was either broken or sprained from the fall on the ice. Out of no where there was a huge gust of wind that blew snow straight into her eyes making Finley hunch down trying to get it out. This storm was going to be the death of her I she doesn't find some place to stay soon or find the Stray Pack.
Finley's limps became more and more distinct slowing her down a lot almost collapsing into the snow, she shook her pelt out even though it wouldn't help by much continuing on not loosing hope. Not long after she finally caught a small scent of the Strays know she was just in the tip of their territory before collapsing to the ground exhausted.

|Harry|M|Guard|SUP|M: Loki, Finley, Alha|

Harry couldn't find Loki anywhere. He spun around in a panic, desprate to find someone. His thick coat was doing a good job of keeping him warm, which he was thankful for. He let out a whine followed by a bark. H-help, anyone! He thought. This was unknown territory, it was getting dark, the snow was falling harder. He should have been in a barn, safe and warm, and yet, here he was. Harry looked around, trying to find something pointing towards camp, worried about the traps that were set. He set off, trying to maybe follow the way he'd come, which was hard to locate after his panic circles.

As he walked along, he stayed alert. The large dog could smell the camp nearby, his ears perked up, his fast beating heart slowed. Thank goodness! But... there was a certain smell in the air. Another dog that he didn't know. They were close. He followed the scent to a mound of snow. He nosed her. "Hello?" His voice was gruff, a uncertain look on the guards face. Hmm. Harry slide his large head under her limp, cold body. He pushed her onto his shoulders, and quickly began his way towards the camp. The trees began to look like trees he knew.

His heart had begun to beat much faster since he'd found the stray, worried for her. He panted from his run, the pads on his paws getting cold in the snow. Harry stopped in camp, looking around. He peeked into Alha's den. Shalah didn't seem to be there... Harry decided that he'd stash her in his den until the morning. He headed that way, looking over his shoulder. Why did Shalah leave Alha alone? That never happened. Harry slid the female off his back over his head and stood there wondering what to do. He didn't quite feel comfortable sleeping in the den with her. Her fur seemed quite long, and the makeshift dens were seeming to hold up well, keeping at least some heat in.

Harry stepped out, trying to nose his way around camp to find at least a bit of food for her. He found a frozen rabbit. That would do. He felt that she'd need it more than him at the moment. Who'd caught the rabbit he wondered as he laid it next to her head. He stepped back, watching her for a moment before turning and leaving. He wasn't sure what steps he'd take next. He found himself standing at Alha's den, staring in. His tail was dropped down in the snow. He sat down, still trying to make his mind up. He gazed at Alha. She seemed a bit cold, and he'd wanted to alert her of the stray he'd brought into camp. He stood, but paused before going into the den. What if he got in trouble?

Harry decided that he'd sleep at the entrace of her den, hoping to keep some of the cold out for her, and allowing him to act quickly if something were to happen. He made sure to not interupt Alha as she slept as he circled the ground three times before laying down gently. He put his head on his legs, watching the snow as it fell before he drifted off to a light sleep.

(East, Fireball, let me know if you want anything changed)

|Marbled|F|Hunter|Eastern|M: Brecken|

Marbled lifted her head, sleep blurring her eyes. How had she slept through the day? What woke her? Was it the cold breeze that blew though her fur or the sense of her den being empty of a cheerful energy? Marbled looked around, confused and worried as to where her mate was. She stood up quickly. It was dark.. and snowing. A warm flash of panic washed through her body. She needed to find Brecken. Marbled wasn't sure what made her think that, but whatever force it was seemed to be pulling her towards the outside. With one last glance at her warm, safe, empty den, she turned to step out into the cold. A look at her brothers den, anxiety ringing in her ears. She had the strange feeling of longingness to say good bye to him, but shook it off for the needing to find Brecken.

She made her way towards the river, where his patrol should have gone, was he even on patrol this morning? She couldn't be sure. The cold was irritating her paw pads, leaving a burning sensation in them. A shiver ran through her body as she heard the rush of the water. Marbled was having a hard time seeing in the dark, let alone with the snow blocking what little she could see. The flurries made her dizzy, and she found herself stumbling. This was so dumb and yet something drew her forwards. A noise behind her startled her. What was that? A lion? A deer? Why would anything be out in this weather? She should just go home. She turned around, her paws slipping on something she couldn't see. Her head shot upwards, yelping as she slid down a hill she didn't realize was there. She whined as she hit the cold water of the river, trying to fight the black water to the surface. She couldn't find the way up, and all of a sudden felt her body get slammed into a large rock. The impact was head first, her vision blurring. Her whole body burned.

Marbled went limp, having no energy left after her new injuries to fight the tide. She was sure that she would wash up onto the icy shore soon as she faded in and out of consciousness. She could feel her fur brush against the rocky shore, her head laying on a sharp rock. Between the hypothermia she was sure was setting in and the impact of the rock, Marbled wanted just to have her end quietly. It suddenly occurred to her during her last moments that maybe this was for the better when she looked up at the sky with her last breath and swore she could see her mates smile as he stood over her.

He picked up his coyote colored head, his gold eyes fluttering awake. He hadnt slept for long, but he felt so rested that he could run around for ages. He stifled a yawn and rose slowly to his paws, letting out a long stretch. If only it was warm and cozy. But no, the temperature was freezing cold and he had to shake the icilcles off his pelt. He peered outside to see flurries, but not heavy snow. He walked out of the Beta den and went to a nearby stream and drank some of the icy cold water. Might as well get something to drink before it froze over. He gave a small way of his tail once he finished drinking, then headed back towards camp. The grass had frost over it, and he could feel and hear the crunch as he walked over it. He stared off into the distance. He couldnt help but remember himself sitting at that exact spot with Fallon. Looking over the territory, side by side. He had fallen in love with her, but she'd disappeared without telling anyone. But as he looked towards the camp's direction, he couldn't help but think of Willow. He knew something was there between the two of them, and he did like her, she was someone he could be with for the rest of his life. His breath spilled out in billows of smoke, as he said his last goodbye's to the wolf he once knew, and loved. He was probably hallucinating from lack of sleep, but he swore he could see a faint outline of a wolf. It nodded its head, and after a swish of uts tail, turned around and faded into the distance.

Bardou // Beta // Raven // Mentions: Sundown // Shalah

"hmm.... good. Feel free... to sleep in my den.. storms to bad for wandering about... sundown to."

At the reasuring lick to her audit she relaxed again.. ok ya.. that makes sense. Bardou wrinkled her nose, darn thing wasnt sniffing right if thats what it was. Mind you she was pretty damn exhausted.

Bardou hardly turned her cranium to Sundowns re-enterance her voice holding a tired... edge abnormal for the large female. Her audits relaxed lazily upon cranium as Sundown came in speaking of Ore... and having no strength to hold her tongue she snorted.

"Ore will do as Ore wishes. Shes been absent for... a long Time Sundow...n.. youve been doing a fine job.. ill be it nervous but your definitly... improving."

Bardou allowed the two medics to fuss over her condition.. in the mean time she ate the food offered and lapped slowly at the moss. Before she rested her cranium upon her paws once more.

By the time the two had finished Bardou huffed softly and blinked slowly before stating the obvious.

"Ore... has other prioritys tonight so it seems... thank you both.. now. Stay in my den till morning.. im in no condition to be digging anyone out of... snow drifts...."

And with that the glowing ember of an optic closed once more her breathing shuddering before evening out. A soft whine left her lips as she fell asleep again.. sleep was something she would always fear. It was the one time she was truely alone.. in the cold and dark of the storm. Bardous body instinctivly pressed against Shalah to both shield her and pull from her a sliver of comfort.
