Finley Neil Blake | Male | 26 | Ambi/Single | Apres-Gay/Demi-Gay | Nevada | Mentions; Shadow(Ind/Dir), Open. Finley awaited an answer from Shadow, watching as the blind man tilted his head towards him. They’d reached a crossing and stopped without Shadow having answered him. It wasn’t until they were walking across the street towards the park that he finally did. -- “There is many things we must discuss, concerning you and me and mutants in particular. How many mutants have you encountered?” -- Finley glanced at him, gripping the wind as the earth moved and Shadow’s elemental ability gave a stronger pulse. He continued watching, the wind gripped easily in his hands, until it became obvious that Shadow was just using his ability to move easier. Then, Finley thought about the question. Or well, he tried to. But the familiar tingle at the back of his mind was there and he didn’t have any way to block it this time. -- So a thought made it to the front of his mind. Would eliminating all the air in a mutant’s lund be different from normal people? And despite himself, despite how little he actually cared to find out, his eyes, that seemed shades lighter, dragged over towards Shadow. -- He still answered the question though, his voice as apathetic and hollow as ever. “I suppose only the ones I had met back at the labs. I’m fairly certain none of them are here now though, since it was early on in my own career as a subject that I’d met them and I’d never seen any of them again after the initial meeting. Why is that important?” -- His own answer and question were true, even if he wasn’t focused on them. He couldn’t see why him meeting other mutants was important right now. Besides, the idea he’d have was a much more fascinating one. One that could have actual, physical results and might even make him feel something. The rush of death used to give him some sort of feeling, after all. So maybe killing someone like him would have more promising results. Maybe it would add another shade of color to his dull world.

Malaki: Mentions: Sky Malaki made a mental note of all of Sky's abilities and realized that hers were a lot cooler than his. Great, she not only has more powers than me, but they are a lot cooler. "Okay, well, thanks for telling me Sky. I'll keep a note of all of that. So... I know we just met but do you have a place to stay? I mean, I don't mind sleeping out in the wilderness; I even have a tent attached to this backpack for such an occasion, however I haven't really slept inside of a building for some time and I miss not sleeping on rocks." Malaki adjusted his hiking backpack after finishing his sentence, shifting the weight back toward the center of the pack.

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade was starting to panic. He had fallen hard on the ground again, bleeding badly from the side of his head now. He wanted the woman, he needed her. He forced himself to stand, tha making issue being his left leg, which was hurting him badly, plus his head was pounding. He needed to teach her to listen to him, to obey. No, that was bad, remember? But that's all he knew, what was he supposed to do? Ibex had shown him how to punish, if you did something bad he got the worst pain of his life, so he just had started apply that to life, as Ibex was all he had known before he was free. Didn't the woman understand that? He was doing his best to go after her, limping horribly. He needed her, he just needed her. He rounded the corner past the door, eyes a light pink again. He saw her and did his best to go after her. He was trying to ignore his injuries, but it wasn't going the best. "Please, please don't go! Don't leave me... Please." He yelled to her, more tears starting to run down his cheeks. "I'm sorry..." he also said, but quieter.

Nyx || Mentions: Blade Nyx stopped, and turned her head slightly, her jaw clenched. Why couldn't he just go and find someone else to bother? Why must it be her? He is such a child. She sighed again, turning around, staring at him. "Why? Why are you pleading me to stay? You don't know me! Your acting like a child, just grow up already," she growled. Then it hit her. After everything he said, about how she would be such a horrid mother.. that he would take the child and give it a better home-. When he sent her into the room with the bed, crib and everything. And now he was begging her to stay. She faceplanted into her palm, and groaned. She bit her tongue, and huffed. "I am not your mother, accept it." The words she spoke, it almost felt as if she was stabbing herself as well. He was in obvious need of guidence, and seemed to be looking for a family of sort. But.. she wasn't a mother! She hasn't even had her first child yet. He was being arrogant, he needed someone else, not her. "Go to the hospital to mend your wounds. I don't care if you blame me or not, but you brought this upon yourself. If your this desperate. Go to foster care or some shit. I won't, and refuse to do anything more to or with you. Just give up, and go." Nyx shook her head in disgust, walking towards him. She grabbed his chin, and pushed it up towards the sky, "And plus. Im a horrible bitch, who will end up being a bad mother in the end. Right?" She mocked his words, and pushed him aside, walking past him, wiping her hands off.

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade visibly flinched when she told him that she wasn't his mother. She rejected him, she didn't want him. His real mother hadn't wanted him, or at least that's how he imagined it. How else would he be in Ibex all alone for so long? He stumbled when she pushed him aside, falling over. He watched her start to walk away and he wanted to cry more. Everyone left him, granted he abused the crap out of them, but they left. But he didn't think people wanted what he was, no one ever noticed him or cared unless he put on an act, so what was he supposed to do? He felt the same yearning to kill her for hurting him, it caused him pain and his first reaction to that was to make it go away. But he didn't, he just flopped over and laid on his side lethargically. "I'm sorry for being bad..." he mumbled, staring at the ground as he laid on his side. Maybe he'd get up, maybe he wouldn't, he didn't know. He had learned to shut down when he was experiencing lots of pain, something he had to learn in Ibex in order to survive his painful childhood.

Nyx || Mentions: Blade Nyx didn't turn back, she walked away, leaving the man behind. She had walked away from the building and Blade entirely. She wasn't going back to help him, he deserved what he got. He was clearly abusive towards her and probably other people, and was physcotic. It was pure madness. She stormed away, walking across the nearby street, going behind one of the houses. It had a black picket fence, which was nearly perfect. She leaped over it, wincing when she jumped over. Her stomach was still flat, but it was becoming more and more difficult to hold it in. Nyx was hunched over, her palms on her knees, her head hanging low. She needed to find her Levushka and Dakota. She had too. She slowly stood up straight, and groaned slightly. Within the blink of an eye, large, raven black feathered wings shot out from her back, white tips, a deluted gray just barely seperating the black and white. Her feathers stretched out, she almost looked like an angel, somewhat evil looking. She lifted her head back, "Finally.." she whispered. She lept into the air, lifting herself off the ground, her wings thrusting upward. Thankfully, no one was around to see her, they were all at work. She glanced around, and attempted to use her X-Ray vision, but winced, realizing Blade still hadn't released her of her abilities. Nyx gritted her teeth, peering down at Blade. Arms wrapped around Blades sides, lifting him up off the ground. Large wings pumped up and down, sending Nyx high into the sky, Blade in tow. "Im taking your dumbass to the hospital. I would like it if you gave my abilities back too," she hissed, slapping him upside the head. "Im dropping you off there, whether you give my abilities back or not. Then I am leaving. For good," she growled, furious.

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade didn't expect her to come back. He had been wrong, she wasn't the horrible person he thought she was in the beginning. He relaxed in her arms, but as she stated to talk about bringing him to a hospital he started to freak out. He held on tighter to her, starting to shake slightly. He had see hospitals, they looked like Ibex to him. "No, no no no." He mumbled, looking up at her. "Not there... they're going to hurt me, Ibex will get me." He said, and at that started to completely freak out. He couldn't go back, they'd hurt him. They'd try to kill him, or he'd at least wish he was dead. "Don't please... just leave me! Leave me alone... I don't want a mother if they're just going to keep leaving."

Nyx || Mentions: Blade Nyx wasn't phazed by his pleading. "I have been to them, they aren't going to kill you, neither will Ibex. Now, unless you want me to drop you from this height and kill you, stop fidgiting! And I am not trying to be your mother, dimwit!" She hissed, and gripped him tighter Nyx soared near the clouds, scanning the ground below as much as she could, and spotting the large white building, in red letters "Hospital" on the front and.. top? Oh well. She began to look for a place to land, and fount it. "Bingo." She moved her wings down, closing them in, and they began to drop like a torpedo, wind blowing past their faces at 30mph, even faster. As they dropped faster and faster, the more Nyx knew how painful this was going to be. 500ft above, she snapped her wings open, a mental gut punch hit her, and she groaned in pain. They slowly then glided down to the ground, just behind an apartment building, which thankfully had no windows. When they hit the ground, Nyx released Blade, folding her wings back in. Her wings slowly disappeared within her skin, leaving nothing behind, not even a bump. She grabbed Blade by the arm, walking out from behind the apartment building, into an alley way just in front of the hospital. "Abilities. Now."

Blade I I Mentions: Nyx Blade didn't like flying. It scared him. He liked landing even worse, and was still having trouble catching his breath. As she pulled him around the corner and to the hospital he froze. Flashbacks of Ibex hit him and he started to freak out. He could almost feel the pain of every time he had been hurt or tortured by them. He didn't want to go to the hospital, it terrified him. "Don't make me go, they're going to hurt me." He whispered, at the same time also silently releasing his persuasion from her. She could have her powers fully now. "I don't want to spend my life there again... I want to be free.." he mumbled brokenly. He was shaking, shaking terribly. He never had anything to cling onto in Ibex, so when he got really scared he usually tried to eliminate anything that could hurt him in the slightest, like the woman holding him. But he did his best to withhold the urge, and managed to do so, he was still terrified none the less.

Nyx || Mentions: Blade Nyx shoved him forward, "Stop being a child and go in! Its not Ibex!" She shouted, grabbing him by the shoulder, turning him to face her. "Man up. Buck up. Get your cowardly ass in there, and mend your wounds!" She clenched her jaw, completely done with this young man. "I am going, and you should to. If your going to survive this world.. learn when to give up. Like me. Right now. I am giving up on you ever learning when to take a chance!" She shoved him forward again, twirling him back around to face the Hospital entrance. She was about to give him another earful when somehow she could.. read his mind? Wait, that must mean- she had them back! Now was the perfect time to dump this bag of bones. She rolled her shoulders, and snapped her knuckles. "Just go. And if I ever see you again, I will kill you." She pushed him forward again, a little rougher then usual, not realizing she almost pushed him so hard he could have fallen face first on the pavement. Nyx turned around, walking away from the man, she looked at her hands, moving her fingers in a wave-like fashion, sighing in relief. She looked down at her stomach, and rubbed the flat skin, she had a better chance at protecting her child once more.
