Mirai/F/Sent Away/Silver Pack/M: Oriole The young wolf smiles at her brother's action as they both leave the alpha's den. Since Kayla adopted her, when she was just three months old, she and Oriole have been very close to each other. "Hey, how about we go with Kayla? Maybe we could have dinner together." After saying this, the brown wolf lowers her head a little, letting out a sigh. "I don't know how long we'll be without seeing her, I hope it's not too long. I'll miss her a lot." Persephone | Female | Sent away | M: Misty I see the other wolf who was to be sent away. She's the only one I can really talk to right now. I'll snap at anyone else, I'm sure. She was picking up some plants. I walk over to her. "Hey mittens. I guess we're stuck together now" I say to her, sitting down beside her. "What are you doing?" I ask, curious what she was doing with plants.

Luna came out of her den, red eyed, as she had been crying. I need to hut. She thought and headed towards the forest hunting grounds.

Oriole/M/Sent Away/Silver Pack "Sure!" He exclaimed, but sighed. "I'm gonna miss her. I wish I didn't have to leave her. At least I stil have you though!" He cautiously bumped his shoulder against hers, making sure not to knock her over. He would hate to have hurt her. As he turned to walk with her towards Kayla, a feather dropped from the sky. He examined it closer, and noticed that it was a Oriole's feather. A cold shiver ran down his spine, shocking him. Was it an omen? He shook it off. That was silly. It was just a feather. Even still, he found himself picking up the feather and tucking it behind his ear. What had happened?

Nighingale/Alpha/Gold/ F - My dreams turn to nightmares and can not wake up. My pack laying in blood all around my paws. Each slites cleanly across the throat. My own claws are red and wet. Deep down, I know it was me that killed them. I shake their shoulders and almost flip them over. I cry out when I see Sparrowhawk's body, curled around small balls of fluff. Pups?! I snarl at my claws and sink to the earth. What did I do?

Aekkiaros (Ay-key-are-rosse) | Beta Female | Gold pack | Female | Mate N/A . The forest was oddly quiet. The sun shone with bitter taste as I, the traitor, strode through its place on a moss carpet. I provided food for Klondike and Honey; I watched over Honey while Klondike was away; I healed their wounds. What more would they want? I shook my head with exasperation and continued my journey. I trotted, blinded by anger, and stomped on an oleander on my way past a fallen tree over a rushing river. The pretty pink plant was poisonous: every part of it. I cursed beneath my breath and lunged for the river. I ignored the waves hungrily wetting my dry fur as I drenched myself, attempting to lessen my poison intake. . Then I heard an unexpected scream. My hackles immediately raised, the fur along my spine stiffened, and I somehow became invulnerable to the pushing water and no longer fell over again and again. I leaped out of the gurgling river and delicately tip-toed to a huge fern with leaves that would make a good hideout. I slowly let myself sink to the forest floor, trying not to make any noise. I strained my ears, making sure my shoulders did not loosen, and stayed alert. . The bird calls died down, so everything seemed eerily still. There was no rustling; nothing at all. I shivered, for I knew my fear scent was strong and thick in the air. I pressed my eyes closed. This was strange, so what was happening? I reopened my pale pink eyes and I saw the weirdest thing ever. It was a little black dragon with no forearms, just wings and hind legs. The air around it was not quite commanding, but not quite kind, either. This thing felt strong. The way it moved was like it was shy, or was not used to interactions with other animals. . "Hello, Aekkiaros. How are you?" "Uhm. Hi..? Do I know you?" "My name is Monster. I am pleased to finally meet you." . Suddenly intense pain coursed through my veins, into my arteries, then into my bones. It went all the way to my skull and then throbbed for the last time, but the pain intensified for only a second before I couldn't take it and shut my eyes again. . Then the world dropped and disappeared. . I woke up in my den, my whole body vibrating and shaking. I realized it was a nightmare so I climbed to my feet gingerly. I shook my body once more before exiting the cave. I saw what I had been dreaming about. . The horror of what I saw made me turn to my side and throw up violently. Nighingale/Alpha/Gold/ F - I mope off. Sparrow is still sleeping. What did I do? I scream at the trees and yell at the bushes. I howl at the sky. My tail lashes and I growl. I make sure no one follows me as I rant into the dawn. I bite sticks and pounce on leaves. All this exersize slowly diminishes my anger at myself.

Aekkiaros (Ay-key-are-rosse) | Beta Female | Gold pack | Female | Mate N/A . The last time I remembered seeing a wolf dying, was a very, very long time ago. . I think I was around one or so. My Sire was the previous Alpha of the pack before he died, but keep in mind he died because he was argumentative and talkative. The arguments that he had with hierarchy were not subdued; it was straight and sharp like a knife. He did not restrain from what he wanted to say. Nor did he think what his actions could cause. So when this happened, he went a little too far with his threats. . My Sire got his Dam dead and me stolen. . They snatched me throughout the night and killed my Dam right before. They took my Sire into Protective Custody and ended up killing him, too. This is why I never wanted to be in a pack ever since; this is what made me a Neutral loner. I was forced to watch my Sire die, to "teach me not to make his mistakes". I found Klondike and had one pup with him, Honey. . The stars were lively tonight, I remarked with a wholehearted giggle. "What's that for?" A dark brown wolf stalked into the cave, his green eyes vibrant with excitement. "Oh, shush, Klondike. I'm having my moment." Klondike smiled and tilted his head to the side with curiosity. "Is it time, do you think?" "Shush! Leave my den and I'll let you know!" As you can tell, I've inherited my fierceness from my Sire. Klondike bowed his head playfully and backed out of the cave, his sweet smell lingering in the damp air. Why did my pup have to be born in the Wet Seasons? I would have preferred something nice, something drier than this mushy stuff. I glanced to the side, awkwardly remembering that this was my first time with pups. I was hoping for two or three, but I knew it felt like one. . How would I tell him it was time? The pup's feeling its way out? It is coming out, now? I shook my head with fear and worry. My Sire told me that my Dam almost died giving birth to me, so this irrational fear was churning my stomach and making it do somersaults. I hope I came out alive. If I didn't, how would Klondike raise our pup? He had no milk; there was no other option other than letting another female shelter Honey. Or...Klondike couldn't possibly have the courage to let Honey die, did he? No, of course, he wouldn't. That is outrageous. . But I couldn't help thinking...what if he killed Honey? What if I did? I would not for the life of me live with that decision. Killing my own pup...that's utterly absurd. . "Klondike!" My birthing began with the only words I could think of other than 'Help, HELP! I have no idea how to do this. I wish I wasn't doing this. I wish I wasn't giving birth to a pup I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO RAISE!!'. Klondike came rushing in, his tail wagging with excitement. "It's happening? It's happening!" He bolted to my side as I was fighting for breath, and murmured consoling words as I fought with teeth and claws and heart. . Honey was beautiful. The perfect name for the perfect wolf. She was the prettiest pup I've ever seen before: Pale, sandy yellow; creamy green eyes; rippling muscles; she was all I have ever wanted, right there in front of me. . Now, all I hoped for was for her to never be killed. . But of course, Klondike could not let that happen. Edited at May 24, 2024 06:05 PM by AutumnFire Pack
