Frost | Warchief | Mentions: Berry, Hop, Bog, Open!
Frost chuckled at Bog's joke. "Well, if it works, perhaps we'll make it warren policy." The two brothers seemed to be taking everything in stride, which gladdened Frost. Even the arrival of the bobcat hadn't caused them undue distress. Frost shivered, remembering the journey, the frightened squeal of Snow as she-- Taking a mouthful of grass, the old rabbit forced the thoughts away. It wouldn't do any good to dwell on what had happened; those who had survived were here now. They were rabbits, after all, and they were used to such things. It was merely the laws of the wild. The big rabbit put his head on his pale paws, black-tipped ears folding against his head as he gave a quiet yawn. Despite appearances, he wasn't fully resting; Frost found his eyes flicking to Berry, who had settled down a few hops away. Her concern charmed him, and he could feel his own worries manifesting. Would she be safe out in the open? The worries didn't follow him, though, as his heart calmed in slumber.
Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Ash, Moon (ind.), Open!
"I-I mean, I think I will," Leaper said hesitantly, voice low, "I want to. I just-it's tough, y'know? When I think about it, it feels like I'm, well, facing down a bobcat of my own." Leaper yawned, scratching behind the ear in an attempt to seem casual. This conversation worried him, so close to the warren. What if the others heard? "I'm gonna get some rest just - promise me you won't tell her, okay? I will...eventually."
SCENE SETTING | Mentions: Blizzard, Ash
As Blizzard slept, a low rumble would break into his thoughts. The big buck would be the first to hear the ominous booming of thunder to the south. Ash's jovial bullying of his smaller friend would be interrupted in a rather odd manor. Above and nearby him, two squirrels had been quarreling; a dispute between a large grey squirrel and her younger sister. The latter of the two, young and inexperienced with the ways of foraging, threw an acorn out of the hollow in which they dwelt, clearly frustrated. The unexpected projectile sailed through the air... ....and landed straight onto Ash's head.

Ash|Warclaw|M: Leaper Ash nodded. If Leaper felt as scared as he was when he led the bob cat away from the warren, well lets just say Ash understood. Ash then nodded again. "I promise i wont tell, and im sorry its just-" Ash said seriously before pausing. Ash shook his head before looking back at his friend. "Nevermind about me, go get some sleep." As Leaper was about to move Ash felt something hit his head. Without a second thought he jumped into the air, landed by Leaper and sounded the alarm. As soon as he was about to run for the warren he realised it was only an acorn. Shame and guilt flooded his face and body as he nervously looked over at the warren. "Uh- f-false alarm," Ash said nervously. Berry|Hauler|M: Frost Berry jumped as she heard the alarm. She found herself running over to Frost. W-what am i doing? Oh, yeah, umm helping him....i guess. When she reached Frost she heard Ash say it as just a false alarm. Berry gulped down fear before looking at Frost to see what he would do. Especially since she had somehow came about an inch away from his face. She back up and nervously smiled but said nothing Edited at October 30, 2022 01:27 PM by ~Terebinth Wolves~

Bog & Hop / Patrollers / Mentions: Ash, Oat
The brothers burst out of the bush, wound up and tense, legs vibrating as they fought against the instict to run long enough to check where the danger was.
Bog huffed angrily when he heard it was a false alarm from Ash, returning to his make-shift nest with a dark grumble. He had nearly been asleep, and it would be ages before he was calm enough to sleep now!
Hop rubbed his muzzle with both paws, far less bothered, and smothered a yawn.
Oat had stuck her head out of the burrow, the inside of her ears tickled by the distant rumble of thunder...
It was still dark, but the doe crept out anyway, determined to get some long grass for nests before the rain ruined it.

Blizzard l Male l Loner . Blizzard awoke almost instantly at the sound of the thunder. A little strike of fear surged up his spine. Even with the cold he violently shivered. Worry flooded through him. A bad storm was coming and it would be really bad. He dug alittle deeper into his burrow and tried to curl up and go back to sleep. But it'd be impossible. He twitched his ears, trying not to think of the terrible storm coming. How would it affect the Warren rabbits. Would they come this way?

Oat / Excavator / Mentions: Blizzard
Oat caught the whisper of long grass being rustled by wind and carefully crossed a patch of snow, following the noise. She kept low enough that her belly slid along the ground, ears pinned, heart hammering. Would she hear an owl coming if it spotted her? Smell a fox before it pounced?
She was about to give up and hurry back to the safety of the warren when the snow gave way underfoot, dumping her into a hole. The doe kicked out with all her strength, floundering in a squeaky panic. She felt something solid and pushed off with her hind legs in an attempt to free herself.

Oat / Excavator / Mentions: Blizzard
Oat crawled out of the hole, shaking and huffing, eyes wild. Burrow-collapses she could handle, but falling in and finding something big and warm and _alive_ underneath her was a new nightmare. Had she landed on a badger?
She took a few quick hops to get out of the snow, ready to race away at the first sign of teeth or claws, but she could only smell rabbit. Oat stared at the hole, now a mess of crushed and thrown snow.

Blizzard l Male l Loner l M: Oat . Finnaly the other rabbit scrambled out of the snow. He knew it was a rabbit, but he didnt think she knew. If it were him. He'd think he landed on a badger. He knew he better introduce himself, but not startle her. He saw her through a gap in the collapsed snow. "Hello?" He said in a soft unthreatning voice. "I'm a rabbit and my name is Blizzard." As soon as he said it he started to try to climb out of the hole.

Frost | Warchief | Mentions: Ash, Leaper, Berry, Open!
As soon as he heard the alarm, Frost found himself stamping, bolting away from the sick bush towards the warren. Had the bobcat come back?! It was too late for them, surely... Then, he caught sight of Ash's sheepish face. Leaper was standing close by, shivering and paralysed with fear. The warchief frowned and moved forward to cuff the big grey rabbit - what in the world had possessed him to stamp? - before he found himself staring into Berry's grape-purple eyes, so close that his whiskers touched her face. For a second, the pale rabbit forgot all about bullying Ash as a furious blush spread under his pale fur. "I, ah, sorry about that, Berry."
Leaper | Warclaw | Mentions: Ash, Open!
In his mind's eye, two pale circles froze Leaper's very instincts. The bobcat. How had it gotten here without anyone noticing? They had to run-! No, he thought as his head cleared, false alarm. Leaper froze again, seeing Frost make his way towards them, only to be stopped by Berry. The chimera let out a deep sigh. "Going nuts?" he joked drily to Ash, before hopping away to get some rest. After a sleep as ridden with nightmares as fleas on a giant sloth, Leaper dragged himself upright. Edited at November 1, 2022 04:14 PM by Talen

Berry|Hauler|M: Frost Berry finally snaped back to real life as Frost spoke. "I- uhh- what? Oh no, it was my fault and im very sorry." Berry gulped down fear before backing away a few more hops. For the first time Berry felt- well uhhh- something she wasnt familar with. She shook her head before smiling again and saying, "I- uh better go- get ummm- some- some sleep, or umm something." Berry then made her way back to where she was when Ash had called the false alarm, all the while deep red spread across her face. Though her mind was racing with questions, what was she feeling? It was familar yet nothing shes ever felt before. What should i do? What is Frost going to do? Ash|Warclaw|M: Leaper, Berry and Frost Ash gulped as he saw Frost coming his way angrily. He sighed though as Berry stoped him from coming to him. Brave, he thought to himself. He jerked his head up though as Leaper pulled him out of his thoughts. "What? Oh- uhh yeah," Ash nervously laughed. Ash then realized Leaper and Berry had left, leaving him and Frost. He gulped, waiting to see if Frost was still going to lecture him or not.
