Arya Arya quickly hurried off to ready her things, which in actuality was only a worn backpack, an old knife that she found, and a compass. She didn't have much to her name that she would claim as her own, and she didn't mind. She found having to carry around many things simply slowed her down, and things now and days had a tendency to either end up broken or lost, she'd rather keep an eye on what really mattered. After gathering her things, she returned to Killian with a bright smile. She saw ge had asked someone else to join them, Hope she believed her name was. Arya eyed the girl for a moment. They didn't spend much time around each other, Hope usually being out of camp whilst Arya normally stayed within camp. The new face made her immediately curious. "So... Shall we go and talk Amara?", she asked the two.

Elara watched as Arya, Killian and Hope started to group together. No doubt getting ready to go scouting. She couldn't help but scoff slightly at the thought of the ever so hopeful Arya walking around in a world like this. That girl would get bitten by something in mere minutes. Although Elara didn't bother to go join them, she was comfortable here with Luke for the time being, besides, she still needed to wait for any possible orders from Amara 'You're one damned job is to take orders!'. So she simply stayed there, leaning into Luke, as she watched them prepare before calling out to the group(although mostly directed toward Hope and Killian, and less Arya.). "Remember... dandelions are our best bet for a food source, you can eat the whole thing and they basically grow everywhere!" She didn't say much other then that as she happily went back to sitting in silence with Luke. (So basically 'example' kind of means like a small flashback or memory)

Killian nodded to the girls before he started to make his way to Amara. "Sorry to bother you Amara, but we were hoping we could go scout some more, to make sure he's fully gone and to see if we can't find more things out there for us" he said as Amara looked towards the three. She seemed hesitant, only since she wanted to go as well, but she agreed. "Just make sure you have the necessary weapons if you need them" Amara replied.

Luke looked back at Elara. "That's interesting. Can't say I knew that about dandelions. I always thought they were just an annoying weed. Probably because my mom was allergic to them." he said, silently very pleased she hadn't offered to go scouting, but instead stayed there beside him. He was just ignoring Alastor at the moment, just being happy. Hope nodded in Elara's direction when she heard what she said with a smile. She flipped her knives, making sure they felt okay in her hands. She nodded to Amara. She then walked a little ways outside the camp to wait for Killian and Arya. She looked around, and couldn't help but wonder how many people were out there, completely alone. She had been lucky to find this group, but she hadn't always been lucky. She had had to kill people before, who were outright hostile or merely using her. Sometimes, they still haunted her at night. She wondered if any people who had been alone since the Ring of Fire began had gone completely insane. She knew she would have, and she let out a small shudder, before focusing and gathering some dandelions, putting them in a small pouch she kept with her.

"Yeah..that's what most people think. Most don't really bother to try and see just how useful one little plant could be. They just sort of... take it for granted since it's not as pretty as most plants." Elara started as she grew more comfortable sitting next to Luke, even going as far as to rest her head on his shoulder. "I still remember this story that my mother told me when I was very young, about dandelions. It was one of my favorites and I would always beg her to tell me it every time we sat in our favorite field that was just filled with dandelions...." A piece of her felt silly and childish for talking about dandelions, especially with the world they now lived in. Yet Luke managed to make her feel like she could be more open. Despite how long ago it was she still remembered it like it was yesterday. Although, it was one of the very few happy memories that she had. 'gunshots... blood... pain... screaming... A man yelling as he holds a bloody riding crop "your one damned job is to take orders!"... and a little girl crying back as she bled on the floor, covered in cuts and bruises, "I'm sorry!...Please I can do better!" Elara felt a shiver run down her spine as goose bumps covered her skin. She slowly took her head off of Luke's shoulder as she leaned away from him a bit and subconsciously pulled at the sleeves of her purple flannel to ensure her arms were fully covered. Her breath was slightly shaky as she turned her gaze away from him. "But um...yeah...like I said it was a long time ago..." She could feel her heart beating slightly faster than what it had been as she stopped pulling at the sleeves of her flannel and instead fidgeted with the black ring on the middle finger of her right hand. Elara hated showing weakness, because if she showed it infront of people, then they would know that things got to her. She couldn't let anyone get to her...not again....never again... Max watched as the small group started to get ready to go. He was tempted to join them but was unsure. Normally he stayed in the camp, since he often helped with building anything like a fire pit or moving something heavy since he was more on the muscular side. Max doubted that they needed him since he wasn't much of a scout, the only thing he was really good for was building and carrying heavy objects. It made him feel slightly useless when compared to people like Hope or Elara since despite their size they seemed to have more use than him. Although Elara always seemed to help him find something to do, and he was thankful for that. He didn't want to wind up like James and get exiled from the group. She normally asked him move piles of ruble off to the sides of the camp and have it curve around them like a wall unless Amara said otherwise. It took a lot of time and effort but it gave him something to do so he didn't feel like he was a waste. So once he finished his breakfast, he silently began to move ruble to create more of a wall around the camp once again. He needed to do something... he needed to be useful...he needed to keep from being exile...because around here... that was as good as a death sentence...

Hope looked back after plucking another dandelion out of the dry, barely plant sustaining ground. She saw Luke and Elara sitting together, Elara's head on Luke's shoulder, and Luke with his arm around her. He had a contented smile on his face, which made her happy. She hadn't seen him truly happy since they had joined the group. She also noticed Max - she was pretty sure that was his name - watching the group as if debating whether to go scouting with them or not. He was on the muscular side, so he might be useful if they found something large that was useful for them, or for any larger prey they might get. It would also be nice to just have more company and get to know him better, since she didn't honestly know that much about him. She walked over and tapped his shoulder. "Do you want to come scouting with us?" she asked, tilting her chin in a gesture in the direction of the others.

Max quickly turned to make eye contact with a young woman that was slightly taller than Elara, but also looked to be a year or tow younger than her as well. Hope, was what he believed her name was. " Do you want to come scouting with us?" She asked as she gestured towards the scouting group with a tilt of her head. Was she really asking him? He was quite honestly surprised since he always thought that he would be more of a burden since he was never the best at hunting. He looked from her to the group in contemplation. Then after a moment he spoke "S-sure. I can come." For whatever reason she had asked him to join, it must have been a good one, and he wasn't going to give up the chance to get out of camp for a bit. He hadn't really been outside of it since he and Elara joined. The only reason he was outside the camp was when Elara asked him if he would spar with her, and even then they had never ventured far from sight and despite practice sparring with Elara, he was never the best fighter. Carefully setting down the peice of ruble he had been carrying, he nodded to Hope that he was ready, as he felt a twinge of excitement as he realized something. This was his first time that he would have ever stepped outside of the camp ever since he joined.

Killian looked at Arya and Hope before he motioned for them to follow. He hadnt realized Hope had been asking Max to join and started heading out of the camp. He knew Amara was going to be watching them all closely now that James was exiled from the group, and he couldnt blame her for watching them all closely. He just hoped nothing would happen to them while he was out with the girls, especially not to Arya.

Alastor glares at the young man for a while longer before turning his attention to the group that was making their leave. He was slightly annoyed that he was trapped within the confines of the camp until the blonde said otherwise, but he knew arguing would simply make it worse. So he simply sat and watched the others in the group as they went about doing whatever they had to do for their routine. That is if they even had a routine. He knew so little about this group, he didn't know if they had a routine, if their was a certain system that they had for who all got fed. For all he knew the leader could simply be making it up as she goes along. But then again if that was the case then they wouldn't have made it this far, which meant their was some kind of system. Although, he still had yet to be told what to do other than to stop bothering the bright headed belle, which was a feat all on its own. Sadly though, there was nothing he could do without likely pissing someone off, so he simply sat and waited.
