Echo was wondering around camp when he saw his son Rowan so he trotted up to him and said "Hi Rowan. You doing anything fun that I can join in?" He thought if he couldn't he would just keep talking to people and walking around and looking for his mate Arrow.

Rowan smiled at Skylark, "I would love to go hunting! Remember when the hunting patrol came by that one time saying they killed a bear? I was in that patrol! I got this cool skull cap." He cheerfully boasted as he tilted his head down showing off his bear skull cap. He continued to lead on all about how they took down the bear. As they met up with Lynxtuft and Silence he smiled more, "You coming Silence?" He asked with charm in his voice. His eyes shot to his father, "Oh hey dad! Skylark, Lynxtuft, Silence, and me were just about to grab a mouse or two to share." He cheerfully told his father as he nuzzled his father with fondness.

She smelled her mate before she saw him. "Shash." She greeted him. "How are you this morning, my darling mate? Is your leg okay?" She sniffed his face, concerned. She moved as if to lick his ear, but instead whispered "We need to talk. Okay?". She turned back to her friends, and asked if Shashlik could have a mouse too. Shashlik was the most wonderful choice that the Alphas could have picked for her. Kind, caring, and wonderful, she loved him with all her heart.

Rowan smiled despite envying Shashlik, but he shook it away, it wasn't his choice. "Well we're going to need something more than a mouse to share, we have a whole group now." He said looking at Skylark and his father.

Echo grinned the charming one that Rowan always had. He noticed there were like now seven people on the trip so he reluctantly agreed with Rowan and said " We should probably catch some rabbits and birds while we are at it and bring stuff home for the food pile."

"My leg will be fine," Shashlik assured his worried mate, "I think I was just lying on it funny is all. And of course we can talk. Anyways, mind if i join you guys? I'm famished. Although, I agree with Rowan and Echo, we'll definately need more than one mouse to share between us all."

Shashlik looked hopefully at the group of wolves, kind of nervous. He wasn't exactly the most social wolf around, and everyone knew it. But he was really trying, and it didn;t seem to be going too badly so far.

"Maybe this is my chance to make some friends," he thought to himself.

Echo could here the worry in Shashliks voice so he said" Yeah I don't see why you couldn't would definitely need more paws for catching animals. Also you wanna be my friend I know you aren't that social and don't have many pals so thought I would ask."

Rowan nodded at Echo, "I guess we can searching for fawns, I got partially good at tracking them after one training patrol. It should feed us as a snack unless we want to go ask for a real hunting patrol." He offered whilst thinking of other ideas to feed the whole group now.

"Yeah...we DEFINITELY need more than one mouse. Especially since Shash here is starving!" She said playfully. She noticed Rowan staring at her intently, and wondered what he was thinking. Shashlik looked a bit worried, next to her. Probably his shyness. She wagged her tail. "Let's stop standing around and go eat!" She yelped.
