Carnival grumbled as he strode into the tent. "Who do I need to talk to about a glowing fish?" He huffed once he reached the tent, a snarl hiding itself right behind his teeth. (sorry, I figured you didn't see this)

Astroya returns to the healer's hut despite just being there not too long ago. She gets herself set up at the counter and produced the glowing lobster before calling out to Rayne. "I heard you buy glowing things?"

River looked up and nodded happily, trotting away from her mate to meet the two of you at the counter with a sack of pinecones. "Yes yes! We research them for cures and clues as to where Glowmire may be." She explained as she happily takes your Glowing Fish. -Carnival has earned 5 pinecones- -Astroya has earned 5 pinecones- Rayne came over to investigate as well and smiles at you. "Was there anything else we could do for you? Any ailments or illnesses?" He asked kindly Edited at June 15, 2024 12:27 AM by Sunset Ghosts

"No sir, just needed to sell the lobster." Astroya nods to the... Canid creature next to her before saying goodbye to River and Rayne, thanking them. Something about him didn't seem right, but she shook it off and headed back to the inn. She overheard someone calling for a rally. It seemed interesting and she hoped it was still open.

Carnival tilted his head, "What do you mean by where Glowmire may be?" The wolf seemed confused, he swore he had just stumbled upon it while traveling.

Rayne blinked and looked to his mate in confusion, while River tilts her head at you and flattens her ears. "Have you... tried to leave yet?" She asked, while Rayne sat down for what he seemed to think would be a long talk. "Glowmire isn't a normal town... it's the only safe place in a purgatory. The Rotten Forest is constantly changing. You could walk in a straight line and if the forest wanted, you'd end up right back where you started." He tried to explain. "We can't leave, and it's as though the fungi limit the gifted here. Magic users wield no magic, dragons breathe no fire and technology doesn't work." He shook his head and sighed. "There have been hundreds of Glowmire residents. Resistant to aging and having the adventure of their lives here... but you're stuck. We still don't know if anyone has ever really made it out. People dissapear in the forest all the time... some jump into the Decaying Sea. And we have to assume them dead." Rayne sighed as he finished, and River brushed against him to comfort him before looking back at you. "So we research the oddest things about Glowmire, in an attempt to figure out where we are, so we can figure out a safe way to leave." Edited at June 15, 2024 11:31 AM by Sunset Ghosts

Spirit limped to the counter of the healers hut. "Could you help me with these crystals?" He winced as he shifted his paws.

Rayne turns his attention to you and his eyes widen. He immediately nods his head and rushes to the medicine shelf. "If you have the crystal that did it to you I'll give it to you for free. Just drink this and make sure you get rid of any crystals that fall off you. They should all fall off within the hour." He explained, giving you the potion, before pointing to the inn. "If you head to the inn, Torka can make you some food to make you feel better. Or if you have any fish she'll cook them for you."
