Solstice He smiled at Nadir, she was a very good finder. He stood up on two legs to examine the pouch she'd found. Investigate the Campsite

Solstice He smiled, it was definitely worth it to duck in the well. He examined the book. He looked over to Nadir by the fire and sat down, opening the book. He needed a break anyway. Take Some Time to Read Edited at August 21, 2023 08:16 PM by iArema

Solstice You choose to sit down and take a while to read "Exploring the Rotten Caves" You pull open the tattered cover to reveal a mostly blank title page containing the poorly scribbled words "Exploring the Tinjar Rotten Caves" By TINJAR JONES You flip the page and are generated by poor handwriting and a few feathers and leaves raped between the pages. I've escaped from that insane party trying to explore that sinkhole. Don't even know what I was trying to prove joining them, I'm an explorer, not a kamikaze person! Anyway, I managed to steal one of those stupid journals from Faelan's tent. Though I'm not sure why. Been staring at this page for 20 minutes and I still don't know what to write, despite what we've seen. I've been nearly crushed by cave ins, almost swallowed by a sinkhole, and now they want me to go down to hell and back?! I don't think so! I've gathered some samples of creatures I've seen in these Caves so far, as well as some plants. I'm thinking I can make a little research book. Keep hearing weird hissing noises though... I'd be scared if I didn't remember what the sand sinkholes sounded like in the Savannah. I must just be near one of those. I'll head to bed tonight and be a famed author in the real world by next week!" As you close the book and look around again, ypu realize that's definitely not what happened... and if you really looked you'd probably find old Tinjar Jones bones around somewhere. However, as you listen closer, you hear a faint hissing sound in the distance, as he described. Maybe it is just sand from the savannah but... maybe you should get out of here too? -You May- Continue Forward Go Back Follow the Hissing Sound

Rocky You choose to sit down and take a while to read "Awestruck Underground" You pull open the tattered cover to reveal a mostly blank title page containing the neatly written words. Awestruck Underground By Faelan Burns You flip the page to reveal a spectacular drawing of what it must be like down there, with luminescent mushrooms the size of redwood trees and bushes and grass as tall as the tallest man on the team depicted. We ventured through the woods and back today, it was beautiful down there. With flowing creeks and rivers, and a weather system all its own... it was all amazing. Within the first ten minutes we met our first creature. A triceratops looking creature with no eyes and a friendly disposition. It took a berry from Tim's hand and then immediately spit it back in his face. We got word from above that a couple member of the team had split, but we didn't care. We were making discoveries in megafauna and animals that looked like they should have been dead for millions of years. I was awestruck... absolutely awestruck. Before I knew it we hit what seemed to be a wall, the end of this magic land. We were about to leave again when we all heard cracking, it was far too late this time. At least two men fell immediately and myself and two others clung to the wall for dear life. The others pulled us up, and then immediately started raving about what must be down there even deeper. I admit I lost my temper... but I was reeling over the fact that two of our friends had just died like Lila and none of them cared, they only wanted to see what was down there. They tried to convince me they wanted to go down in order to save our friends and I had to walk away. We put it to a vote later on and decided we'd come back up tonight to rest and resupply before heading down. Who the hell knows what's be down there but I'll stick with my team. My remaining team that is... I've included some drawings of what we saw today, they took up most of this journal. Until next time. You flip through the rest of the pages to see dozens of drawings of live dinosaurs, only, all without eyes. It was odd but it soon looked normal to you as you looked through them all. And you quickly close the book as you finish thumbing through the photos. You look around and are able to piece together the rest of what happened. They went deeper, as you'd read in the final book, and then pissed off the wrong dinosaur. They'd fled up the sinkhole, thinking they'd be safe, but the dinosaurs began climbing after them. Finally the sealed off the hole with what little material they had and been forced to wait for their deaths. However, Faelan and perhaps some of his team had sealed off the exits to this tunnel in order to keep the creatures from escaping. You smile, and make sure everything is secure in your pack before you decide what to do next. -You May- Return to the Forest Explore the Sinkhole Dig up one of the Other Paths

Solstice You choose to follow the hissing sound... After a while of walking, and the sound becoming louder, you round the corner and realize that it's indeed, just a pit from the savannah leaking down into here. However... the pit that the sand is falling into is absolutely massive. And goes down too far to even see the bottom. -You May- Climb down the Pit Turn Back Explore this Room
