Rembrandt Ford - 19 - Black - Barn - Mentions: Donna, Kaleb,
Rembrandt just kept quiet through the exchange, not really much he could do. He had mentally cringed at his mistake, he could have called, true. He didn't even realize that, well, past is the past and one can't change their mistakes. He decided that he better not try anything for a bit, maybe until Donna was a little less upset with him, not that he blamed her, no, it was his fault and unfortunate incidents to blame; himself for not thinking of calling. When the boy- Kaleb, spoke, it was a bit surprising. He had what sounded like a Scottish accent, not heard that much in the country too often.
When Kaleb held out a hand with a smile, Rembrandt reached out and shook it as was polite. "Yeah, Rembrandt Ford," he replied quietly, "nice to meet you." He added after a moment. He took a glance to Black, who had probably been watching the whole thing, and looked back at Kaleb.

Lukas W. Schneider - 19 - Night - Dorms - M: Kaleb, Donna, and Rembrandt (super indirectly)
Lukas' alarm made him jolt upwards in his bed, waking him from his dream. "Ugh." He said aloud as he rubbed his eyes. He dreamed him and Night where practicing a jumping course before she spun out of control. In a dizzying sequence of of events, Night started galloping around the arena and recklessly making the jumps while knocking the poles. Lukas' feet suddenly slipped out of the stirrups causing him to almost fall before his alarm went off. This is going to be a rough day. He thought as he started to get dress. He had dreams like that before, but each time it made him more and more cautious about riding. It was his passion, but he felt this overwhelming sense of caution he had to maintain.
Slipping out of the room before Lucian could awake, Lukas walked to the cafe for a quick bite to eat. He wasn't very hungry, so he didn't stay long. Grabbing only a bagel, he then made his way to Barn #41 to complete the morning chores. Night greeted him with a nicker and a slight shake of he head. "Good morning girl." Lukas rubbed her neck and greeted her with a kiss on the nose. "It's going to be a good day, I hope." He noticed a new student arriving later and Kaleb was trying to ease the situation with one of the instructors. Lukas kept his head down and quickly completed the chores before the day began.

Victoria-19-Esie-anybody in the barn . Like a whip Victoria was up at 0500. She dressed, plaited her hair, and laced her boots tight before making her way down to the stables. She knee she'd have to feed, water, and muck out before classes began and she was NOT going to be late or untidy. . let's see.. mental check list...... 4 flakes in the nets... 2 scoops of performance feed and 2 pumps of her supplement oils... I just need her work pad and her tail bag.... dont need all that braiding getting messed up... . With that she popped in her ear buds and got to work. Feeding and grooming before tying up the mare's tail in a bag, rechecked her maintenance main braids and making sure to bring both a kimberwick and her double bridle to Esperanta's stall as she saddled her.. unsure of what would be allowed on the first day of class.

Lucian-20-Helios-anyone . . "Huh?.... oh.. seems like Lukas left in a real hurry... poor kid seems nervous" . Letting out a long yawn Lucian stood with a stretch and turned off his alarm. Looking out the window and seeing an exchange between what seemed like another student and.. a teacher? He couldn't be sure from this distance.. but her look read all business and "watch out I bite". . ok.. note to self... don't get in that one's bad side.. yikes. Looks like a real barn queen with a mean streak..... Kaleb seemed to ease her up a little though. I'll have to ask for his secrets. . Dressing quickly he will grab his good vest and ties back his hair. Jogging down the stairs and to the stalls to get Helios ready for the day. Feed, water, mucked out and legs wrapped. His mane and tail brushed well and his tack shining... Lucian was glad he remembered a granola bar from the dorm room since he wondered if he would have time to even think of going to the Cafe. . "Great... running a little behind... at least thank God you didn't lay in poop... that would have been the last thing I needed Helios..."

Árón Callahan- Bubba- Main courtyard drive . A large white dually pick up entered the gravel drive. On the back window was a logo that seemed to be an add for a riding barn.. "AC Performance Horses" it had a logo shaped like a four leaf clover and a double oxer jump. Once it parked in the spots marked for instructors only. . "Alright... first things first... gonna hav' ta figure out were ill be holdin' shop... I know the director said somethin' bout doing some farrier work and instruction too...... oh!.. now of that isn't a familiar face.... Donna!... its been an awful long time little lady. Are ye working here too or are you jus' gonna be a clinician to get them all into shape". . He got out of the truck and strode over to the woman. His most recent World Show jacket on his back from the American Paint Horse association.

Jason-19-Solstace-Aron, Donna, Rembrandt, and Kaleb Jason walked over when the teacher seemed to calm down "Hi, I'm Jason what's your name?" Jason confidently said to the new boy "I'm pretty sure I'm your new roommate, you're sleeping in dorm 3, right?" Jason then noticed Kaleb Thats one of the people I met the other day "Its Kaleb, right?" Jason asked him. Suddenly he heard a car pull up, it was a white Range Rover, the kind of truck Jason wanted to own. He heard the man yell something to the female teacher, and stroll to them in his World Show jacket.

Snowflake ‘Snow’ Phoenix Graves/Apache Apus Graves | 42/19 | Lappy/Tic | Snow:Café Apache:Dorm-Barn | Mentions; Each Other(Ind), The Barn People(Ind), Open. So, first off. Apache knew he was technically late. But like, his mom had been there the day before too and Tic had been sent there too so Tic was already in the right stall because there was no way his mom would just leave her out. -- So, despite definitely being late to arrive. He was just going to play it off as if he wasn’t. He’d go to his dorm, unpack real quick, and then go out to the barn to check up on Tic and make sure his mom had put her up for him. Knowing his mom, Tic was probably in a stall close to Lappy. -- So Apache went to his dorm, easily finding it and stepping in. It was completely empty, which meant either his roommate was even later than he was or he had the dorm to himself. He hoped it was the latter. -- Unpacking was an easy thing for him, he’d moved plenty of times in his life. It gave him time to think too, which mostly made sure that his thoughts turned to Tic and the different trails the school definitely had. He honestly couldn’t wait to get riding again, and hell- Maybe he’d even improve while he was here. His last few competitive trails had him winning in the top three every time, though the spot did vary. Maybe he’d get so good he’d always get first. That would be cool. -- He took special time when aligning his books, reading off the titles to himself. Most of them were either about birds or horses, though the occasional young adult fiction and poetry books were there too. The poetry ones were almost all by Edgar Allen Poe, if he was being honest. -- By the time he was done, it was the prime time of 6:00 AM, he’d arrived at 4:30 AM to try and make sure he got there before anyone else was awake. Best way to hide how late he was, right? -- Either way, now that it was 6:00 AM, he still had three hours before classes started. So, with that in mind, he changed out of what he’d been wearing since he left to come here. -- By the time he was changed, 6:15 AM, he was wearing a white t-shirt, a gray hoodie, white socks, and some jeans that were made for horseback riding. With that, he grabbed his boots and slipped them on before leaving his room. -- He went down to the barn, where there were honestly quite a few people starting to gather. Yeah, he was definitely glad that he got here before sunrise to sneak into his room and all. He decided to ignore them and instead began walking down the large expanse of the barn, keeping an eye out for Tic or Lappy. -- His eyes eventually settled on Lappy, hearing the gelding give what could only be described as a snort in his general direction. He raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms at the horse, “Now, come on, Lappy. Is that any way to talk to your, like, rider’s son?” -- Apache grinned though, he hadn’t seen the old gelding since he’d moved out… A little over a year ago. He shook his head as Lappy seemed to huff at him, and rolled his eyes. “Yeah, yeah. It’s good to see you again too. Anyways though, I’ve got to find Tic so I’ll see you around, Laps.” -- And so, he glanced about the nearby stalls, eyes searching for the familiar mare. And behold, Tic was a few stalls away from Lappy. Just as he’d been expecting. He made his way over with ease, giving her a pat as he entered the stable. -- Maintenance always took him awhile, so he was glad when he saw that most of the stuff had already been taken care of- By who, he assumed his mom. But that just meant all he had to do was grooming and feeding. *~*~*~* Snow was in the café getting some coffee to get ready for the first day. Last night had been long, with the students all arriving and some wanting to speak with her(admittedly not that many, which she was thankful for). For the most part though, she was mostly preparing herself for when she would have to see her son today. -- He hadn’t gotten here yesterday, though Dendritic had shown up. Honestly, she just hoped that he didn’t miss today too, it was already bad enough to miss the settling in day but to miss the first day too? If he did that then the two of them would certainly be having a chat. -- Her coffee was given to her and she sat in one of the seats in the café to drink it once it cooled enough. Black, with little to no sugar added- She hated the taste it gave it. She’d have to be at her top for today, if only to make sure that she would know exactly what she was doing at all times. Though, given how long she’d been riding, she was sure she was good enough at this point. Still, she wanted to be at her best for the first day at the very least. Rembrandt Ford - 19 - Black - Barn - Mentions: Kaleb, Jason, Áron (Indirectly), Donna (indirectly),
Rembrandt tilted his head upwards to look at Jason when he came over, man, he is tall; was his immediate thought. He seemed confident. He nodded, yeah, he was pretty sure that was where he was staying.
"My name's Rembrandt Ford." He said simply, as was his way. Then a thought occured to him a few moments later.
"Don't be insulted if I forget your name, I'm bad at remembering them." He added, he had started saying that to anyone who he might be around more often. Simply because some got offended or mad at him. He couldn't help it, he has always been bad at them; heck, he once called Picasso, Napoleon. It is now a running joke in his family.
Rembrandt glanced over when the large white truck pulled up, a man got out, coming over to where Donna was. Interesting. He shifted his weight a little, an idle motion. He didn't say anything else, he had been told that he was the quieter sort, like he didn't know that himself.

Donna - 38 - T-bird - Aron, open Donna will perk up at the sound of the lilt and a genuine smile warms her features. "Callahan! I was wondering when you were going to get around to showing up!" She will set her coffee on a bench and come over to give the man a hug, smile still lighting up her face. When she pulls back, she will actually tuck her sunglasses into her shirt. . "Not a clinician this time, Aron. You are stuck with me as a colleague again. I left the Hawk when I found out you settled down to teach again after your stint of being 'Mr Amazing'." Donna will gently nudge the man in the ribs, an actual sparkle in her eyes. " I see you have been busy... What did you get this jacket for this time?" She will walk with him back toward the barn and the offices that were set aside for each of them.
