Midnight shrugged. "I dont know. I hope so" he said as he started heading back to the cave the rest of the pride was in. The darker male hoped Fae was alright. / Fae kept close to Ajihad as she looked around. "Is moss really easy to find" she asked as she looked up at the older male. She tilted her head as she watched him, remembering how he scared off a large bird from taking her before her and her father joined Siku's pride. / (Aria is waiting for the others to reply unless we want to skip and say they did or didnt catch anything?)

(@saratank, if there will be a skip, then I suggest that the lionesses caught nothing, as so far the hunts were always successful!) / Nyasi / Small bit of Nyasi was regretful that Midnight made up no more games, but Nyasi straight away shook his head, reminding himself that he is a growing lion, and trotted after Midnight. (short, sorry)

Ajihad nodded, "The area is moist here which is better for moss. You always find more moss around moist places." He didn't like feathers. They could often be stiff and poky. Moss might be dry and scratchy, or wet and moist, but feathers were larager and more bothersome. He wasn't sure if they would be able to find enough for it to be worth it. Yael shrugged, because he didn't remember much. It hadn't been cool, and it had been a very hard time for everyone. However, he was glad he was able to impress the new cub. He smirked, when she yelped glad that he had managed to catch her unawares. He wasn't surprised, when he released her that she immediately turned around to pin him. If she hadn't, he would have been disappointed. It would have showed how socially awkward she was, if she didn't realize that they were supposed to play together. He smirked at her and waited for her to let him up. He didn't struggle, because he didn't want to give her the satisfaction. "We should go stalk somebody and practice our stalking skills," he suggested. He looked around not sure who they should focus on. "My dad is teaching me how to fight and mark the border," he told her. They were doing other things too eventually, but that's what they were starting with.

The female nodded her head listening . She followed his eyes to see who he was thinking about stalking, but it seemed he had no idea. The female said, " Stalking is fun. I always stalk mother, and she gets quite annoyed, but I know she's proud. She even said imgetting quite stealthy and good at dissalerimg " Adaliya watched the others with keen and observing eyes, " Is it silly I'd rather fight than hunt. I'm small and agile better suited for hunting yet I persist in wanting to learn how to fight. I know males are more suiting for fighting for their brawn and strength, but females can too! However me being in a battle field could be detrimental as I'd sustain blows faster due to my size, but my quickness could help me avoid them....maybe I just need to stick to being a cub for now." She sighed. Sometimes she got into her own head, " Hey can you show me around Yael? "
Constance was watching the two with a small smile. She was glad her daughter was making a friend. However Maya had went quiet and this concerned her. She went in search of the pregnant lioness. "Are you alright dear? You don't look so good?" Edited at September 13, 2020 04:26 AM by Spellbound

(Yep, that's what I was thinking and why I asked. XD) / Aria cursed to herself when they had failed the hunt. Giving a sigh, she growled slightly and shook her head. *Oh well.* she thought. She knew not all hunts would end well, but at least this time, nobody was hurt. She started heading back with Tara at her side, figuring the others would follow soon. / Fae smiled. "Hopefully we can find lots!" The young cob was excited to be out and about. Since her and her father joined the prides, she's been stuck in camp while her father went out with the others, though she knew it was because her father thought she was still too young. / Maya gave somewhat of an annoyed growl. While the expecting lioness never meant it as mean, but more defensive, she still felt the need to be on her guard. "Just the cub, or cubs moving around. They wont settle and it rather hurts" she grumbled as she didnt look at the other lioness.

Ukuta / Ukuta sighed, and followed her pridemates, taking guard at the rear. She was just getting used to catching prey every time, but it seems things don't always last. Nature has made its decision. The group arrived to the den, and Ukuta looked forward to rest again. She entered the cave, and eyed the new lioness suspiciously, who was talking with Maya. She glanced at Chaos, and noticed him watching after a new cub. Ukuta had to supress her laugh. Just how much mates did this young lion manage to get himself?

Yael smiled knowing the joys of learning how to stalk. He had started with his momma's tail before he graduated to anything harder. She could adjust the difficulty for him as needed. "What do you do when your momma is annoyed?" he cocked his head. He hated annoying his mother, and he worked hard to make sure that he didn't get her at a bad time. He knew she was busy taking care of the pride, so that he couldn't be selfish. "Fighting is fun," he acknowledged. "I guess it takes greater strength to resist doing what feels good and instead do what is best." He nodded his head, "There isn't too much to see. You can see all the bedding and nests and stuff. I suppose I can show you the underground drink where we cubs get our drink. Follow me," he trotted off into the darker gloomier part of the cave. Ajihad led her back to the cave. He had meant to go check out the border, but he couldn't do it with this little cub around. "We'll make this one trip, and then I need to go check something out. I'll just drop you off at the den," he told her. After that he grabbed a few good bundles of bedding before they headed back in.

Nyasi / Nyasi and Midnight arrived to the cave. Nyasi peered into the semi darkness, searching for Tara. When he spotted her he grinned and jogged over to her. Only then did he notice the new lioness, and jumped a little in alarm. Hoping Tara did not notice his scare, he hurried to her, asking, "And who is the newbie?"

Ivy / Ivy smiled, and felt reliefed when her son came back with Midnight from the patrol. They were the last duo to come from the patrol and Ivy was worried for them. Ivy felt a twang of sadness when Nyasi went over to Tara. Ivy just keeps on forgetting he is growing up, that soon he will be a lion. Sigh, at least has a good taste in lionesses. Tara may turn out to be a good mate. At least Nyasi isn't like someone who plays around with hundreds of lionesses. Ivy gave a subconcscious glare at Chaos, then quicky averted her look. What is wrng with her? Chaos is a lion, and that is what lions do, right? Siku, Jasiri, Ajihad and Aslan all popped into her head like annoying pests, reminding her they all had one mate. (had a double post and decided to be creative with it. Now I am dealing with a jelly Ivy xD) Edited at September 15, 2020 03:54 PM by Heather pack

Tara looked over as Nyasi as he made it over. "I dont know. She was just here when I got back" she said. She hadnt noticed Nyasi walking into the cave and wondered where she should lay down then. She sighed as she lowered her ears. It was her fault the hunt had failed. Aria wanted to see how she did with trying to pick a good animal to hunt, and while Tara had picked a perfect one, trying to isolate it was another issue. Tara had failed to get it away from the rest of the herd, but Aria hadnt been mad since the younger lioness managed to avoid getting hurt in the process. / Fae grabbed what she could before she looked up at Ajihad. "Thank you for taking me out" she said. She saw the worried look on Midnight's face as she walked over and he made his way over quickly. "Why were you out of the cave" the dark coated male asked in a rather harsh tone.
