Reyla lowered herself, showing she was no threat. The dark brown and black lioness lowered her ears slightly. "M-my name is Reyla" she said. She figured as soon as he saw her coat that she would be chased off. Her green eyes watched the adult male before they drifted to the cubs. *He probably won't let me stay with them* she thought as she laid on her stomach, ready to bolt if needed. / Amara smiled feeling Ajihad there and nuzzled him. "Is he gone" she asked as she flicked her tail. She would tell him about what Shani said and asked later, but she wanted to be sure there was no threat for the cubs.

Ajihad smiled because he was with Amara. "I can't guarentee that he is gone, but he walked off," he told her. He doubted that a lion with cubs would try to take over the pride. He nudged Amara teasingly, "I think Shani might have scared him off more effectively than I did. He wasn't expecting that. I doubt he wants to mess with us, since he didn't want to join our pride." Zamri watched her carefully. He had two cubs. While he should be able to take on any lioness he didn't know if she had a companion. "I am Zamri. This is Arridi and Kuro," he introduced himself and his cubs. He could see Arridi staring rudely at her. He wasn't sure what to do. "We've got to be going. There was a hostile pride, and I want to make some good distance between them and us," he told her without thinking. He didn't really want someone else to take care of, and he didn't think it was any business what she was doing here. "Okay, whose turn is it to be carried?" he looked between them. He picked up the cub who had had to do all the walking.

Amara nuzzled Ajihad. "Seems like that's the case. The cubs he had didn't seem too happy either" she said before she saw Aslan heading out of the cave. She wondered where the male was going, but she knew he wouldn't go too far without talking to them. / Reyla tensed up. "A-a pride" she asked. Her ears lowered as she looked around nervously. She saw the cub named Kuro hiding behind his father and she backed, fearing her odd coat was scaring them. *It has scared others before* she thought as she looked more nervously, wondering if he would chase her off, or let her pass by peacefully.

Reyla was up early as usual. She had learned to not sleep in with her coat. The pride she had been in taunted her and would often attack her in her sleep. Giving a small sigh, her green eye looked over and saw Zamri close by. She had been grateful to the older male to not chase her off as she had followed him for the night, seeking only the night's comfort. Standing up, the young lioness stretched and looked around, wondering which way she should go from there. She did give a small smile seeing Kuro digging into his fathers mane while the cub slept, having a good dream. / Amara was up and sitting outside the cave, letting the warmth of the sun hit her light coat. She looked around and saw Aslan outside of the cave, sleeping away from the others. Amara became confused seeing this since the red maned male had stopped doing that when Luna had opened her eyes and Amara and Ajihad realized Aslan wouldnt hurt the cubs. She knew something was wrong, but didnt bother him since she knew the male would want his space. Looking back into the cave, she saw Amber and Echo sleeping close to Chaos as always, Fae next to her father, and Luna tucked up by Ajihad. She smiled before she decided to walk not too far from the cave, still in view if anyone needed her.

(All right, let's try this again, shall we?) Shani The golden-furred female awoke slowly to an amber light seeping into the cave from the entrance. She yawned, still lying on her side. Her night had been good actually. No dreams, no tossing and turning, and no thoughts plagueing her mind. It had felt wonderful to finally have a decent night's sleep. ~ She lay still, patiently awaiting the awakening of her new fellow pride mates. She hoped she hadn't disturbed any of them. She closed her eyes and basked in the still tranquility of the early morning. It was so quiet...so peaceful. Shani's lips slowly curled up in a slight smile. *So this is what being content feels like* she thought. Perhaps today would be a good day.

Ajihad woke up with his little family unit. He realized that Amara had left. He could smell that it had only been a short time ago. He stayed still making sure that he didn't wake up Luna. He wondered if Siku would organize the patrol or if he should. Who should go on a patrol? Perhaps he should let Azrael go. What lions hadn’t gone in a while? Chaos woke up as usual with his cubs nestled close to him. He remembered being sad yesterday about Indigo. He hadn’t expected her to come back, but he hadn’t expected that she would be dead either. Survival was tough, and sadly she hadn’t made it. Azrael's bones were achy, so he hoped that the cubs left him alone today. He wasn't feeling like doing anything. He yawned and stretched, but it only made him feel worse. He lay back down and went back to sleep. Yael's eyes popped open, and he took a look at Aria. She was still asleep, so he began to creep away. He wanted to play with all of the cubs, but he wasn't sure if they wanted to play. Yesterday there seemed to have been a lot of drama, and he wasn't sure what to do about that. It was the older group that he didn't feel like he could play with. He wondered where Fae was. She was closer to his size. He supposed he should invite Luna to play with them. Astrid woke up and looked around for Shani. “Hello. How are you doing?” she asked. She knew that yesterday had been chaotic, and she hoped that Shani was happy. “I heard yesterday was crazy,” Astrid commented wondering if Shani would tell her anything. Khaleesi wondered if Aslan would let her sleep beside him. She knew that he felt bad after the lionesses had fought over him. She wasn’t sure what was wrong. The next morning she woke up and went to check on him. “Aslan. Are you okay?” she asked. She was scared to ask him what’s wrong. Something was definitely off. Zamri wasn't sure what to do with Reyla. He wasn't interested in having her following him around, but he didn't feel like he should shoo her off. He woke up to Kuro digging further into his mane. His eyes widened further, as he noticed that Arridi wasn't near him. He didn't want to wake the sleeping cub, but he was becoming worried quite quickly. Arridi had gone to get a drink of water. He was thirsty, and he thought he was old enough to do it himself. He returned and saw his father's worried and angry expression. Uh oh. He wondered if he could go run off and hide. He decided to go hide behind Reyla. "Please protect me," he whispered. "Dad is mad, but he won't be mad if you intercede on my behalf." He wasn't sure if he liked Reyla or not. She seemed okay, and he would like her a lot more if she managed to help him to avoid his father's ire.

Constance scanned the horizon her emerald optics hard as she stared at the world. She sighed as she looked at her leucistic daughter who bounded besides her, and the lioness scowled at her daughter's antics. Adaliyah pinned her ears as she saw her mother's stern gaze. They were on unknown territory, probably another Pride's domain as the scents were old but still held a tinge of freshness. She certainly did not want to face a Pride right now with a cub by her side. The cursed the lion that had made her conceive their love child, Chaos. He wasn't even their to help her raise her daughter if she ever saw him again she would give him a piece of her mind. She had heard of a pride that merged and wondered how far they were from them. Hopefully far off she thought as her ebony pelt was hit by the sun. -------- The pale male meandered along a border. He curiously looked across the horizon. His pale blue optics took in the land with boredom. He was alone and had no company. Maybe that area held a lioness he could talk to? Possibly be infatuated with and have a mate? It would be very interesting but for now he was content being under his little shade tree.
