Zamri looked hesitantly at Ajihad. "I don't think so. I don't think they want to hurt cubs," he told Kuro. "Let's be polite and get off of their land." He decided to pick up Kuro for now. If they had to run he'd put them both down so they would have an equal chance. He was glad that he wasn't staying with that pride. There seemed to be a lot of drama that he didn't want to get involved in. He was glad that his cubs wouldn't be raised there.

Shani sighed and approached Amara cautiously. She knew she had been an alligator brain ever since she had joined the pride. It was time to take ownership of her behaviors. "A-Amara? I need to apologize for what happened at the border. I was rude and disrespectful to both you and Ajihad. I have been quite stupid and ridiculous these last three days and I know I really should be exiled. C-Could I confide something to you?"

Reyla lifted her nose and looked around. She smelled another lion near by and grew curious. Tilting her head, the brown and black lioness stood up from her spot and spotted a male with two cubs, the male carrying one. She became curious, though didnt move. / Kuro went still as Zamri picked him up. He glanced up at his father. "Are all prides like that" he asked as he wondered if maybe they would be better off as nomads for the rest of their lives. The young male spotted an odd colored lioness, and was now wondering if his eyes were playing tricks on him. / Amara narrowed her eyes slightly, not in the mood to deal with really anything at that point. "What is it Shani" she asked as she saw Fae starting to play with Luna. (short)

"I don't really know how to cope with Zamri's sudden appearance. I mean, I thought he was dead the last two years! And then he just shows up at the border and barely recognized me. It's just alot to deal with right now. Do you have any advice?" Shani said as she sat quietly beside her pride leader.

Amara shook her head. "Unfortunately, I dont" she said. "I havnt had to deal with that, and from the looks of it, the reason he didnt recognize you was because of the cubs, worried about them." She stood up to head back into the cave, stopping in time for Luna and Fae to run in front of her before Amara kept walking to find a comfortable spot to lay down.

"I hope Ajihad let's him in. He needs a good safe place for the cubs," Shani said. She got a sad, wistful look thinking about the cubs she had miscarried. She sighed and laughed at Luna and the other cub playing. She noted Amara's proud motherly gaze and hoped that she too would someday know that joy.

Amara narrowed her eyes slightly. "We don't need more males in the pride" she said sternly. "Especially not after what happened with you, Khaleesi and Aslan" she said before she shook her head. "It's obvious as it is he doesn't remember you well, and you probably don't know him anymore. I'm not putting any cubs at risk when he could end up trying to take over and kill them."

"Perhaps you are right, Amara. But that still doesn't help me forget how he made me feel when we were together. He has changed, a lot. I-I'm still struggling to comprehend his appearance. Whoever the mother of his cubs was, she must have been very special to him. Did you notice the way he talked about her? I think he is still in love with her memory. I hope it goes well for him and the cubs," Shani said. She lay down on her side in the dust of the cave floor.

Amara watched Shani. "Certainly seems like he did love her" she mumbled before she looked at the cave entrance, waiting for Ajihad to show. *What would I do if I lost him* she thought. She then turned to look at Astrid and Luna. *If I lost all my kin, I wouldn't know what I would do.* She placed her head on her paws and closed her eyes to try to rest.

Ajihad waited to make sure that Zamri was well and truly gone. He didn't smell him around anymore so he started heading back to the cave. He noticed Amara was trying to rest. He headed to her side and lay down beside her. He didn't say anything since he wanted to let her sleep. Once she woke up she could tell him what Shani had said and he would tell her that he had escorted Zamri away from their pride. He couldn't make any promises. Zamri could still be around. He might have let Zamru enter if it weren't for Shani. He had a feeling that it would cause a lot of unnecessary drama. Another point that had caused him to hesitate was that it would have been three new lions joining. They didn't need anymore, and it wouldn't have added any new lionesses. Zamri smelled a lioness nearby. Was it Shani trailing them? She had said that she would come along so the cubs would have a mother figure. In Zamri's mind they didn't need one. They were lions, so they didn't need to learn lioness ways. Shani didn't have milk for them, so he felt that they would be fine. "I don't know Kuro, but that's why we're not going to be joining a pride soon." Arridi wanted Zamri to stop and look at the lioness. He out the cub down and turned to watch the lioness. "Hello. Who are you?"
