Amara shrugged. "Some male named Zamri. Apparently Shani knows him" she said, almost sounding annoyed. "He has cubs with him." She lead him over to where they were, at a slightly quickened pace. "I dont know when they met or anything like that. Seems he almost forgot about her." Amara flicked her ear as they neared the small group.

"You're sorry?" She asked incredulously. "That's it? Zamri, you probably could have cared less, but I loved you with all of my being. I gave you my heart. But that's how you live isn't it? Drifting from one lioness to the next, taking what you can get your paws on and then breaking their hearts. How many lionesses have you "loved" Zamri? How many lives have you broken? I want to be angry with you Zamri, but the closest thing I can come to is pity. For you and these cubs," Shani said. She drew herself up and looked him right in the eyes. "Amara's gone back to fetch on of our males. I would suggest leaving if I were you."

Kuro growled. "Dont be mean to my daddy" he said puffing up slightly, trying to act tough, though, if he was given a nasty look, he would back down right away. The young cub didnt like his father being "talked at" for any reason, even if he didnt fully understand what was said between the two of them.

Zamri cocked his head, "You really loved me with all of your heart? Then why didn't you try to find me? Why did you expect me to find you? You were the one in a poacher's net, and I thought you were dead. If you searched for me, and didn't find me, then how do you know I didn't look for you? If you say you loved me with all of your heart, and didn't look for me, then why should you make it a double standard?" He rolled his eyes, "Nice to know I have your pity. You are way too dramatic Shani. I did find someone I loved. I thought I loved you, but you were gone. Before you it was just flirtations, and they were nothing serious. I doubt I broke anyone's heart irrepairably. I would have loved our cubs, and raised them with you, but that didn't happen. These cubs have changed me." He nuzzled Kuro, "Come on. Let's leave the mean lioness here. She wants us to go away." He nudged Arridi in the direction he wanted them to go.

"No, wait!" she ran towards him, "you're right Zamri. I did look for you wherever I went. But I assumed you were dead. I'm sorry, Zamri. Truly...please don't go?" Shani realized that she was begging. She shocked herself with how much she still had feelings for him. She realized how it must have been from his point of view. Up to this point, she had been wallowing in self-pity for the pain she had gone through.

Zamri was a little pleased at the apology, but he wasn't sure why he should stay. It seemed that this place was crawling with lions that were on the verge of being hostile. "Why should I stay? That lioness went to go get a lion who could chase us away. You told us that," he pointed out. "My cubs can't run that fast, so I have to get a headstart now," he pointed out. "I am sorry Shani. I didn't realize you cared so much," he began to nudge his cubs again.

"Please wait, I'll talk to Amara and Ajihad on your behalf. They are really quite fair and reasonable lions. They're just a tad apprehensive of loners right now. One of our lionesses spilled the pride's guts to one of them and we had to exile her. Besides, the cubs need a place of security and consistency. You can't expect them to constantly be on the move. The cubs are everything to us here within the pride. But, if they do tell you to move on...I-I'm going with you. The cubs need a lioness with a motherly touch to care for them." Shani hoped against hope that he would stay.

Kuro looked up at Zamri. "I dont want a lion to chase us" he said as he lowered his ears at the thought. He looked at his brother as well. "I also dont wanna be near mean lions" he added too quietly for anyone but his brother and Zamri to hear. He narrowed his eyes. "I dont want you! Your mean!" (Short) / Amara heard Shani asking Zamri to stay and she shook her head. "Him staying is NOT up to you" she said as she walked up. "Its up to the dominats of the pride. And right now Shani, you dont have the best reputation with the males in the pride." Her eyes narrowed. "Now, with that, why should we trust you in the pride if your so willing to leave" she growled. "Amara, I know that he has to be accepted by you and the others. I just didn't want him to leave without having that chance. As for my reputation, I suppose I deserved that jab?" Shani swung around to face her approaching pride mates.

Amara looked at her sister. "Has Shani even told this male about how she started flirting with a male she just met, leaning up on him, not trying to get to know him" she asked before she looked at Shani. "I heard you getting mad at him for doing exactly what you did to Aslan. Had you really loved this male, you would have told him about that."
