(Night, Delilah wouldn't be telling a random male anything about the pride if she JUST ran into him)

Aslan spotted Khaleesi storming off passed him and he sighed. He sat down and shook his head as he tried to wrap his mind around everything. It caused him to be rather upset at Shani for telling him when it wasn't her place. *Stupid Lionesses* he thought as he laid down.

(I'm going to assume that Delilah ran into Kreon since he's the only lone male as of now and is quite close to the pride...though I'm just going to ignore that she told him stuff about the pride...) Kreon "Hi, who might you be?" The lone lioness spoke, Kreon smiled at how open the lioness seemed, it was unusual, but still seemed a bit refreshing that the lionesses in this area weren't all as hostile as the last group that he had stumbled upon. "Kreon, I'm just passing through these parts and I happened to notice you alone, and swimming too, which caught my interest since not many enjoy it like you seem to," he nodded, dipping his head, "And who might you be?" he asked when a lion ran into him? He jumped back and roared, she had just come out of nowhere!? "Sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going..." the lioness spoke, then went on to mumble something else, his eyes narrowed and he turned from the lioness, walking back towards the other he had been speaking with near the watering hole. "That was....odd?" he murmured,

Storm was about to answer Kreon but was interrupted by a lion running into him from the side. Jumping back and giving a startled hiss and growl towards the lion. She then noticed that it just so happened to be one of the lioness's from her pride. Stepping back watching as male lion move towards her away from the other lioness after giving her a look. She just hopes that Delilah dosen't see her and go running off to tell dominates what she seen. She turns giving a slight flirty swish of her tail towards him before making her way back up the embankment the way she had came knowing now that pride males had hear his roar. She hopes he will follow if not she wouldn't be surprised. (If needing to be change I will fix it once we know who she ran into ) Edited at May 28, 2020 12:15 PM by Gypsy Pack

Astrid raised a brow, "There is nothing wrong with trying to get to know Aslan. I'm sure he would welcome another friend, but I never saw you too talk. You were just loving up on him, so you actually didn't get to know him. How do you know Khaleesi had a crush? Did you ask her? Khaleesi and Aslan have had a platonic relationship for a very long time. If Khaleesi likes him like that, it wasn't your place to say anything. She's never said or indicated that she wanted something like that. You could have made their friendship very awkward, and totally ruined it. That is why she is mad at you. If she's gone this long without telling him, why did you think she would want you to say anything? As Khaleesi has shown you, she is perfectly capable of speaking for herself. I'm pretty sure Aslan has been clueless to both of you. You didn't need to make any announcements, because it was unnecessary. It just sounded like you were gloating over Khaleesi. Like you had won, because you were just handing him over to Khaleesi on a silver platter. I'm sure she doesn't want your charity, and she certainly doesn't want you announcing it to the world. If you were going to back off of Aslan, just stop hanging around him. There was no need for the whole pride to know. Besides, I am sure that Aslan is perfectly capable of picking for himself. It's not up to you to make that decision. It's up to Aslan and whoever he choses." She addressed the next part, "I wouldn't say Khalessi clawing you was attacking you. That was losing her temper. If she was attacking you, a lot more fur would be missing," she glanced at her amused. "A pride is hard work. To begin with you need to stop acting like you know what's best for everyone. There is no way you can. You don't know us. We haven't had enough time. Unless someone asks for your help, just stay out of it. Strike up conversations with other lions, but stop trying to have physical intimacy with them. You aren't there yet. We've only known you for a day. Be patient. It's worth it I promise. I know what it's like having no pride, and watching your mother die. I find it hard to believe that you have never been in a pride. You are too comfortable with other lions. When I first came here, I didn't speak much to the others. I just watched carefully to make sure that I didn't do something wrong. While there is nothing wrong with jumping head first, I might suggest more caution. You don't know how this pride works. You should be asking questions, and watching and observing." Her tone sharpened, "Don't give up so easily. We don't want quiters, and you are still in the stage where you are proving yourself. We want members that will be dependable, even give their lives for each other eventually. Companionship will come later once you've fully intergrated. You have to show us that you are loyal, and that you will work hard for the benefit of this pride. If you gave up everytime you wanted to hunt something you wouldn't be here. Life is hard, and it's not for the faint of heart. You've only been here a day. Giving up now would show us that you didn't even try and you're not worth the effort." Her eyes softened, "I am willing to help you Shani, but you have to be open to it. You haven't asked anyone for help, and most don't accept help unless they asked in the first place. I will be here for you, and I will listen and give you advice. You need to give this pride a real try or you won't ever fit in anywhere. You can't just run away. You haven't gone through anything in the short time you've been with us. We gave you a second chance, when you disobeyed. Other than maybe Khaleesi we have been fairly accepting of you. None of us has been cruel to you. Khaleesi might have been mean, but she hasn't tried to torture you. There are worse places to end up. I believe in my pride, and I know that we are worth it. It might be hard at first, but you can figure it out." Astrid looked a little stunned. That was the most talking and speech making she had ever done. "I am sorry if that sounded harsh, but I do see where Khaleesi was coming from. She shouldnt' have lost her temper, but I do think you pushed her. Also, I totally disapprove of how quickly you are willing to abandon my pride. We may not be the best out there, but we care for each other, and we are willing to give you a home. You can't expect to be friends with everyone. Everyone is different. If someone doesn't like you certainly don't be mean to them, but don't seek them out."

"Wow, when you explain it that way, it kind of makes sense. I just...Khaleesi seemed to be the most welcoming and helpful lioness, I feel like I betrayed her now, looking at it from her perspective. And...I don't really know how or if I can make it right. I did feel like I had to make everyone like me. The others are all established and have their own "groups" you know? It's hard to know where I fit in. But I don't wish to leave and be alone again. Khaleesi growled in my direction when I got close to Aslan and when I saw her talking to him, I kind of put two and two together. She is a good and kind-hearted lioness. I'll just kind of do my own thing and not speak unless spoken to. Until I saw Aslan, I really didn't know just how much I was still grieving and in love with Zamri. I don't think I will ever love any other lion the way that I loved him. When I realized that the poacher's shot had probably killed him, the only thing I wanted was to die. He left such a large void in my life. Maybe it's better if I just resign to the fate of being single for the rest of my life," Shani sighed. She felt relieved that she had told someone what was on her heart. And what was more, Astrid genuinely seemed to care about whether or not Shani stayed. The other lioness listened to her and it felt good.
