Siku followed the hunting group. He wanted to move around more, to relive his moments of younger years. He has already got used to his twisted paw.

"Zebra is big enough prey", Siku said, "If we catch one, we will have food for a week or so".

Ukuta sidled next to him, yawning a bit.

Aslan looked at Shani. "I am going on patrol" he said as he faced forward again. *Why latch onto me? Shouldnt she want to latch onto a lioness* he thought. He'd never been around a lioness who latched onto him so quickly.

Amara smiled. "Great. Then I think its settled" she said as she followed the herd. She glanced back and saw Amber following quietly. *I hope she doesnt think this is a punishment* she thought. She knew the younger lioness liked to be around her brother, but Echo would moreso need to learn the ways of a lion, patrols and protecting the lionesses and cubs.

"Would you like some company? I'm not doing anything here." Shani stood there, waiting for his response. She would like to join him and ask him some questions about the pride and the other lions, but she didn't want to be a bother.

Aslan looked at Shani again. "I prefer to patrol alone. Long story" he said plainly as he made his way towards the border. He shook out his mane as he headed away. (Short)

"Ok, be safe!" Shani said as she turned and headed back into the cave. She looked around, tentatively hoping that someone would want to talk. She had never liked being alone. It made her feel vulnerable.

Ajihad smiled and found her meercat. He nudged it wondering if she wanted it. "You hungry?" He was a little surprised, when she called this home. She hadn't been anywhere long. "Me too," he smiled at her. "Have you tried playing with anyone?" he was curious. He gave her a few short licks mainly because he felt a little playful.

Luna giggled. "I am a little hungry" she said. She smiled as her blue eyes looked up at him. "Not really. Amber seems a little too nervous. I know I am smaller, but I dont know if she would want to play. Tara seems scary." She didnt really know the other cubs. Growing up, she had lost her brother, the only other cub she knew. Having been born in the cave though she was happy to be back.

thank you shani I need to hear that but I still miss them my brothers they were the only cubs from my old pride before the Siku pride found me out in the shvana all alone and nearly dieing of starvation that really trusted me and allowed me to play with them all the other cubs were scared of me

Storm know she would haft to stay behind for another trip before watching them leave camp. Lifting up onto her paws walking over to the pond. Sitting down a few inches from the edge of the shoreline watching for ripples near the surface in which, would give way fish position under the surface of the pond. She watching biting her time for one to move in closer to her. Reaching out with her paw out claws out and swiping at the pond hopping to stag one of the fish with her paw. Before pouncing onto it not letting it get a way back into the water of the pond.
