Amara smiled as she watched Amber walk over and Reyla following shortly behind. "Are we all ready" she asked. She glanced around to make sure the injured Lionesses weren't followed. She didn't want to have to worry about a hunt and them. "Hopefully we can catch another large meal" she said. She flicked her tail. *If we need to, another hunting party can go out later* she thought.

"Amara, I would like to join, if you'll allow it. One of the cubs cleaned up my wound yesterday and my headache is gone," Shani smiled in the direction of the cub. She looked back at Amara, meeting her gaze.

Amara shook her head. "I'm not risking it. Your better off staying here. Just because one of the cubs licked it doesn't mean your well enough to hunt. You were kicked way too hard yesterday for me to risk you coming with and getting hurt again." She stood tall as she spoke.

"I-I understand," Shani bowed her head. She turned and went back to where Aslan lay. She sat and watched the hunting party leave. After they had gone she got up and left the cave, sitting just outside the entrance. A light mist of raindrops fell and Shani turned her head up to the sky a sound somewhat like a purr rumbled from her throat. She only wished she had someone to share this moment with.

Astrid followed closely to her sister, "Where do you think we should go?" She had been a little worried that Shani would try to come along, but she had already hunted yesterday. She had also gotten injured, so there was no reason for her to go out. They had plenty of lionesses. Shani would have a chance soon to hunt, if she healed well.

Shani looked at Delilah in surprise. She was the first lioness who had voluntarily spoken to Shani. "Yes, but despite how much we wish we could go back, we can't. We can only strive to do better in the future and travel the path set before us. It is useless to live in the past." As she said this, Shani wondered if what she was saying was more for herself than Delilah. She smiled, rose to her paws, and padded back into the cave. She lay down quietly and relaxed against Aslan. She let a low purr escape her throat. Edited at April 23, 2020 09:31 AM by Bella Luna

(Um. Khaleesi is by herself asleep.) Ajihad went to go check on Luna. He wanted her to be able to play. He wanted her to get used to Yael, but he felt a little weird trying to set them up. He smiled at her, "How are you doing? Did you sleep well? He gave her a quick nuzzle. Chaos got up and went to check on Tara. He noticed that Nyasi was taking care of things, so he settled a short distance away. He thought that Yael was a nice lion or Fae. He wanted Amber to make friends, because he didn't feel like she had made any.

Amara shrugged. "I'm not exactly sure. I'm just hoping to find the same herd the other lionesses did yesterday and see what we can't get" she replied as she sniffed the air. Her blue eyes glanced around before she spotted a small zebra herd in the distance. "Well, it's not antelope, but it's food" she said. / Aslan started to stir and shook his head when he saw Shani leaning against him. He wasn't one to be close to others he didn't know. The male stood up and gave a small sigh before he headed out to check the borders. He wasn't sure if others were going to follow or not. / Luna looked up at Ajihad and smile. "Hi Daddy" she said as she looked around for the meerkat she hadn't finished the night before. "I'm happy to be back home if that's what your asking." She looked back at her father with a smile.
