Amara looked at Shani. "If Ajihad has nothing else to add, then yes, but we all need to he heard first" she said before she glanced at Storm as well. The other female had been one to not follow orders so Amara was about to be more strict on Storm as well if she needed to be.

Ivy / Ivy held her gasp as Shani interrupted the middle of Jasiri's announcement. Nyasi looked up at her questioningly as he felt her go tense. Siku looked disapprovingly at Shani. Why couldn't she wait until Ajihad made his announcement? She glanced at Amara, hoping that her mate wasn't actually interrupted.

"I apologize." Shani bowed her head and sat as patiently as she could. Patience was hard for Shani. Living as a nomad, she had always been able to go and do what she pleased. She determined to cultivate this virtue in her life.

Ajihad nodded with a smile. Amara had managed to address everything. He raised a brow at Shani's voice interrupting again. "I noticed that Shani didn't eat. She can eat if she wants." He sighed trying to gather his thoughts. He should have put more into preparation for this moment, "I guess I wanted to add that a pride is about teamwork and cooperation. That is the reason that we are living together otherwise we would be all nomads. Please don't forget that." He looked at the other dominants. "If you are willing to let her speak, I guess I have nothing to add."

Amara nodded. "I can agree to it being her turn" she said as Aria nodded. "As can I." The two females glanced to Siku to see what he would think as well. (short)

Siku / Siku nodded in agreement and looked at Shani with a more calm and curious expression. What was the lioness about to say? He noticed Ivy kept on eating, while Nyasi payed full attention to the happenings.

Storm appoarched the carcase after everyone else was done before grabing her share of what was left of the ribs area. Carrying a little ways way before settling down and listening as the leaders where speaking to them. She kind of wanted to show the cubs how to catch one later if that wanted to watch it was up to them if they wanted to. She wasnt sure about the tensions between her and Amara would end at some point she hoped only time will tell thought.

Shani sat in the center of the pride and looked at each of the dominants in turn. "My name is Shani. I am the lioness that snapped at a fellow hunter when I was struck in the head by the antelope's flailing hoof. I also neglected to follow the orders of the dominants, believing that I needed to help a lioness who ran off in terror because of the spat between myself and another lioness. I realized this wrong and fully expected to be banished from the pride. Knowing that this was the only just punishment for my behavior, I expected this to be my farewell speech. I want to stand before the pride and those I wronged, and tell you how very sorry I am. I-I have been given another chance," Shani choked up on those last words, "and I vow before all of you today, to honor my fellow pride mates, to submit to the authority that wisely governs this pride, and to serve wherever I am called. I've struggled all my life, feeling that I had to prove myself to everyone, to the point that I lost sight of what's really important. To just be myself. Thank you, for giving me another chance, for believing that I can be better. That's all I wanted to say." Shani looked at her leaders, waiting for what they had to say.

Nyasi / Nyasi watched Shani say her speech. He yawned, as the apology was nothing to do with him, and trotted towards Tara, who he hoped has finished eating. "How are you?", he asked her quietly, to not let his voice echo around the cave, "Is everything fine?"

Yael lay there munching on his meercat. He watched the dominants and they appeared a little blank faced. He was surprised at the lack of reaction from anyone, and it was a little boring. Yael liked to watch pride drama, as long as it wasn't serious. This was plain boring. Ajihad decided he had better try to be diplomatic about this. He wasn't sure if Shani expected all to be forgiven because she had apologized, but he didn't feel like they should respond harshly. "Thank you Shani. I hope you understand that we are doing the best for our prides. We do know our prides, so we do have some authority. We have also been given authority to make sure you are safe. It does help when others obey orders to keep the order around here." He was a little dubious about her saying she just needed to be herself. That was what had gotten her in trouble.
