(The pond is in the cave) Yael nodded at her advice and stared at the water. He looked at the other cubs wondering if he should wait for the water to settle. He looked at the other cubs waiting for them. He huddled down trying to see the water without showing his shadow. Edited at April 16, 2020 08:34 PM by Candor

Echo listened quietly as he looked towards the others. He wasn't one to get his paws wet, so he wasn't sure if he really wanted to know. He twitched his ears as he heard a little whimpering. / Tara tried to stop herself from crying, not wanting the others to see. She glanced around before she looked at the ground below her. She had finally stopped shaking as she made sure she kept herself small to keep it easier for Chaos to carry her. / Amara sighed when she saw Chaos with Tara. "I'm so glad he was able to bring her back" she said. She looked around Ajihad. "Should we try to call a meeting about disobedience? It seems like at least Aria agreed. I'm still not sure about Siku" she said.

Ajihad nodded, "I think three fourths of the dominants is enough to call a meeting. This is something that needs to be addressed right away. I say that we let her get away with it this time, and we may punish them, but we definitely need to address this issue. We have a lot of new lionesses, and we need to clarify things for them." Chaos found a part of the den that wasn't filled with other lions, and set Tara down. He used his large body to block everyone else from view. If she wanted to be seen, she could go around. He wasn't sure how to handle her. He wasn't sure what the correct things to say were, so he just hovered helplessly. Edited at April 16, 2020 09:16 PM by Candor

Shani watched the others coming back. Spying Ajihad, she rose up. "I would like to talk with the dominants in front of the whole pride. It is important, " Shani hoped Ajihad could see the urgency in her eyes.

Tara curled up placing her head on Chaos's paws. She closed her eyes and tried to slow her breathing. "Thank you Chaos" she said as she looked up at him. She looked down. "I've seen weird sticks like that before." / Amara looked at Shani. "We will be having a meeting" she said. "And you will let us speak before you say anything." She stood tall before she looked at Ajihad. "Should we hold the meeting before or after we eat" she asked. She looked over and saw Ajihad brining back more meerkats and nodded a hello to him as he did the same.

Shani dipped her head in submission. She knew what was coming. They were going to send her away. She resigned herself to her fate and patiently awaited her chance to speak.

Chaos gave her a quick nuzzle. He could tell she was really making an effort to calm down. Her sides weren't heaving as much as before. The whole ordeal had been unexpected. He raised a brow that she had seen one of those sticks before. "Really? Do you know what it does? Where and when have you seen it?" he was intrigued and curious now. Ajihad had been thinking about letting her speak, but he was glad that Amara made that decision. It would be better that way. "I think we should do it after everyone eats. I think they'll listen better, if they aren't waiting for their food to be served." He looked around seeing if everyone was here yet. It was about time to begin letting everyone eat. Yael jerked his head toward Echo, "Why are you whimpering? Scared of the water. Don't like getting your paws wet," he asked him. He stared into it trying to spy some fish. The water looked dark and cold. Who knew what was in it? It was sure to be cold, and getting wet was always unpleasant. He remembered playing in water, he had never been able to not get soaked. Did he want to get soaked? He smelled meat, "Oh look. The hunting party is back. I suppose we'll have to catch fish a different day." He stood up and scampered back toward the main part of the cave.

Shani wistfully smiled as she watched the cubs rush to be fed. She waited not sure if she would be allowed to eat with the pride. Once again she felt the same old feeling of dread, not knowing when her next meal would be, where she would sleep, or where she would go.

Siku / Siku backed away from Khaleesi. "Khaleesi, calm", he suggested sternly, "No need to get worked over what I said. I was trying to look at brighter things at the moment. I am also unhappy with Shani that she left especially when her blood could attract unwelcome guests". Siku flinched in surprise as Shani suddenly dashed into the cave, announcing she found Tara. "She found Tara, no doubt", Siku muttered. / Nyasi / Just as Echo asked about Tara, the new lioness came running into the cave. Nyasi paused, his paws aching to run over to the lioness to ask her where is Tara, but he knew he won't be allowed. And he didn't want to ruin Yael's expectations to fish. Anyway, the lioness ran away, even though Amara told her not to. Then, as the three of them were walking, a lioness ran by them. It was that same new lioness! They were right at the pond. Yael shouted at her to not scare the fish, and he ran after Yael. His ears perked up as Shani requested to teahc them to fish, which he gladly mutually agreed. But he was still wondering about Tara. He listened carefully for her instructions, and waited for a right time to ask about Tara. He looked into the water, raising his paw slowly above water. Then his ears perked as he heard what seemed like Tara's voice. He turned around, and by this time Shani also cam eup to the dominants. He watched Yael scamper off for food, and his own stomach rumbled. But he listened out for where he heard Tara from. He saw Chaos lying in an awkward way, as though he was hiding something. But what? (alright, if I mistook some things, please openly critisize!) / Ivy / Ivy back up Chaos, getting slower as he approached Tara. She kept guard, hoping that no predator got attracted by the smell of Shani's blood. She winced as Shani was being told off, and frowned as Shani talked back. When it was time to leave, she nodded at Chaos that she'll bury the remains of Tara's mother. She wouldn't mind: she has seen enough when she was nomad. She proceeded in gently burying the remains of the dead lioness. She then returned back to the den, in time for food. (alright, if I mistook some things, please openly critisize!)
