Chaos was a little surprised that she put her face in his mane. He gently pulled her a little closer with his large head. He could see his mane dampen where she had her face. He could feel her whole body quaking. He had no idea why she would leave and he was sad that he had no answers for her. He knew he couldn't lie to her, because he had nothing off of the top of his mind. "I don't know why she left," was all he knew to say. "I'm sorry Tara. I have no answers," he could hear his own voice take an emotional turn. He had always thought that Tara's mother wouldn't have left her on purpose. He was sort of relieved to see that that was true.

Yael bounded up with the rest of the lion cubs. "Hey! We were going to try to catch fish. Don't swipe at the water you'll scare them away," he shouted at her. He suddenly realized that he was missing something. He knew it was something obvious. He looked closer, and he realized that she was upset. "Oh, sorry. I didn't realize," he muttered an apology. "Are you okay?" he cocked his head curious. He wondered if he could help her.

Shani was a little startled by the cub. " I'm sorry, I won't bother you," she turned to go, "I'm sorry little cub, its not something I should burden you with." Shani half-smiled, touched at the cub's concern.

Tara looked back up at Chaos before she seemed to almost shrink down. "C-can you carry me back to the cave" she asked. Her ears were back, not sure she could make it back to the cave walking with how much her legs were shaking. She looked at the bones again, not sure what to do about them. Burying them now seemed a little silly, but she wasnt sure she wanted to ever see them again. / Echo looked at the lioness, remaining quiet. He looked at Yael. "I am sure that it wouldnt bother anything too far down. Cant some ripples make fish think its food" he asked as he tilted his head.

"Yes, it will," Shani spoke before she stop herself, might as well continue, " I can teach you how to catch them if you would like?" Shani found herself excited at the prospect of teaching the cubs.

Yael cocked his head, "You don't look so good. If you're not going to be upset back here, I think you should go rest." He went to go lick her head and clean it up a bit. It would help determine how much damage was left. He smiled smugly at her when he had cleaned it away. It didnt' look near as bad as before. "Is that a bit better?" he questioned her. While it would be good to have some advice and help, part of the glory of trying to catch fish was to do it without adult help. It would still be nice to catch something, but it wouldn't be the same if Shani helped them. Chaos nodded, and took that as the sign that she was ready to go. She was beginning to get to large for him to carry her, but he picked her up by the scruff. He placed her back down. "Would you prefer to ride on my back or for me to carry you the usual way?" he asked her preference. It felt like it would be ungainly and undignified if he carried her the usual way. Once he got her settled, he would find someone to move the remains or burry them. He could see that they still disturbed Tara.

Tara looked up at Chaos. "I dont know if I could hold on if I were on your back" she said. Her voice was still shaking as she looked back at her paws. She wasnt sure what to do anymore. She had been so angry thinking her mother just left her, and now, she didnt know where to put all the anger she held onto for so long. The only lioness she had started to cling to had been Indigo, then she ran off when Amber and Echo came in, causing Tara to hate the siblings, blaming them for another mother figure running off. It had been hard for Tara to trust anyone else to not run off on her, fearing she couldnt trust anyone.

Chaos knew this was shaking a lot of frames that she had put up in her life. He wished she understood that she could rely on him. He hadn't ran out on her. He nodded assent, and picked her up by the scruff. He just wanted to make sure that there wasn't a more comfortable way to transport her. He walked by Ajihad and Amara and continued on his way.

"All right, thank you. Just a few hints before I go, watch to make sure that your shadow doesn't lie in the water. Crouch down, like this, " Shani said, demonstrating. She then left the cubs and went to a quiet place under a tree to rest. She lay down and began to contemplate what she should do. She had really let her feelings and emotions get in the way of doing what she was told. She decided that in the morning after everyone had settled down and rested, that she would come forward and publicly apologize to the dominants. She knew there was a chance they would make her leave, but it had to be done.
