"Tara, it's ok. I am here to take you home. I won't hurt you, I promise." Shani lay down to make herself appear unthreatening as possible. Tara was obviously distraught and Shani decided to take things slowly.

Tara narrowed her eyes a bit, not saying anything. Her heart was racing as she tried to roar again, but it remaining a squeak. Her eyes studied the former nomad. Stepping back again she felt something strange on her paws. She looked back, her eyes filled with horror. It was the decaying form of a lioness, and Tara recognized who it was. "M-momma?" Tears filled her eyes as she realized that her mother might not have actually left willingly, but because of something else. The young lioness wasn't sure what to think anymore. (Figured it would add more than just continuing to say she was abandoned fully. XD)

Shani had a sharp intake of breath when she realized that what she had dismissed as rocks was actually a pile of lioness bones. "Tara, just slowly come towards me. We'll get the rest of the pride to bury and have a ceremony for the bones. Just please come to me." Shani said gently.

Nyasi / Nyasi slouched back to Echo and Yael. "They'll be sorry for not letting me go after Tara", he grumbled, then witnessed how the new injured lioness ran out of the cave. "Where did she go?", he asked in wonder. He tried to ignore the nagging worry for Tara and turned back to his friends. "Let's venture deeper into the cave!", he suggested and started to make his way, "It won't be that deep, and when food comes we will smell it!" / Siku / Siku was panting by the time they all tugged the prey back to den. He thanked the lionesses that helped him, and looked around. "You found the female cub yet?", he asked Amara, amd looked around for Shani. Where was she? Yael was saddened that Nyasi was going to go search with them for Tara. When they told him he was too young, he was glad they would at least be able to investigate. "Let's go check out the large pond and creek," he suggested. He wondered if there would be fish. He scampered after Nyasi. He was hungry, but it was taking the adults a while to provide some. Investigating would be distracting from his rumbling belly. Chaos wondered if they should have brought Nyasi along. He beckoned the adults that were going to search for Tara, "We need to be going." Khaleesi scratched the floor of the cave, "Shani ran off, " she informed Siku. "I don't know what she is doing, but she said she was too injured to help carry back the prey. Now, she's run off. She didn't say what she was doing. She just snuck off," she growled annoyed.

Nyasi / "How do you know that there is a pond in the cave?", Nyasi asked astounded, glancing back at Echo if he was following. He also wondered if there are any fish in the supposed pond, and his heart thrummed in excitement as he thought of catching one and presenting them to the pride. What heroes they could become! / Siku / Siku widened his eyes at Khaleesi's statement, then frowned. "Well, I guess as a nomad she'll have higher chance of tracking Tara down", he said, "If of course she remembers her scent".

Tara was too shaken up to move. She let out a growl as she dug her claws into the dirt. She now knew the truth as to why her mother was gone, but her mother hadnt even bothered telling her. She saw a weird looking stick that was sticking straight up where the shoulder would be. Amara shook her head. "She still should have told someone where she would have been going. Especially because we now have others going to look for Tara, and we dont know if thats what Shani is doing." She looked over as Aria who agreed. "We will need to discuss with the whole pride later about wondering alone. This is a new place for many of us, and even for those who lived here before, it could still be dangerous." Echo shrugged as he followed Yael and Nyasi. "Do you think Tara is alright" he asked. He knew Tara would often wonder out of the camp alone, but never run off in the middle of a hunt. Granted, this was only Tara's second hunt.

Yael waved his tail excitedly, "I heard the dominants talking about it, when I met Luna. They said it would be perfect, because we don't even have to leave the den to get a drink." As a cub they were able to get most of the water they needed from their meat and their mother's milk, but it was refreshing to get a sip of water every now and then. He checked over his shoulder for Echo, "The water will be so much fun. Before we play in it too much, we should check for fish," he suggested. As far as he knew, if there was water, he should be able to expect there to be fish. Khaleesi rolled her eyes, "Those who know Tara says she hates new lions. She barely tolerates the ones she knows. How is a random lioness finding her going to be help? Besides, she never said that's what she was doing. She has just rank off. She also said that she wasn't well enough to help bring in the prey. She knew that Tara was gone when we were coming back here. There is no reason to suggest that she went to look for her. How is her being a nomad supposed to help her track her down? She shouldn't even know her scent yet." If Tara had a mother, that was who should be the best to track her down. If she had siblings they would almost be as good. "I don't think Shani has ever had cubs. She seems young. I believe a mother would be able to find Tara best."

"Tara, I am going to get Khaleesi and the others. They will be able to help us. I will be right back. Just stay here, ok?" Shani got up and went back to the cave as quickly as she could. At one point on the way back she felt disoriented and slightly dizzy. She mnew she had to press on though. Tara needed help, help Shani couldn't give. She made it back to the cave. "Khaleesi! I-I found Tara, she needs help!" Shani had another dizzy spell and nearly blacked-out. But her urgency to save this lioness in distress outweighed Shani's concern for herself. She had to get Tara back to the cave.

Amara shook her head. "You arent going anywhere Shani. Your staying put. Someone else will go get her. You have some explaining to do, but for now, you need to rest" she said sternly as Aria looked at Ajihad and Chaos. "Do you think you can follow her scent to the cub" Aria asked. If they couldnt, they would have to send someone the cub would trust.
