Nightingale - Female - Subordinate - M: Merlin and Echo, Sable's group Night freezes in her tracks. "Oh, Okay Merlin. I'll keep an ear out if you howl too. See you tonight." She turns and walks off. Her walking stride turns into a lope and she runs across the plains. Jeraboa's group might need an extra paw. Or I can go to the smaller one. Merlin says I should not try to bond right now with my "brother" then he put Boa and Timber tougher. What is with that.

Echo/Subordinate/Female/Mentions: Merlin Confused but she guessed that Merlin had his reasons. Something serious seemed to be on his mind though she wouldn't have a idea what. Her blue eyes watched Merlin as she stayed quiet and observed him. He would tell her when he was ready and Echo didn't mind waiting. She went and got two rabbits then dropped one at Merlin's paws as a offering. She would like Merlin to eat in case he is hungry but she wouldn't be offended if he didn't eat either. "What is it Merlin?", asked Echo keeping voice calm.

Merlin | Alpha | Male | M: Echo He watched as Night disappeared to find a group. He waited until she was fully gone out of sight. He looked over to Echo and sighed. His ears pinned to his head and his tail thumped on the ground thinking if he should propose his idea. He barked "I'm worried that the shelter's here. And if there is shelters in different part of the territory. What would they be used for.. Will we be a nomadic pack going to each part of territory? Though we haven't came together, I'm having troubles of what would I should do for that.." He sighs looking out to his surroundings. Then he clicked his tongue on his teeth. "I'm also thinking of offering higher positions. Now that we are not in the sanctuary. Recon and I will need help, though I don't know how Recon will like this. Though I'm sure he may be hesitant. Though Recon will help with the decision process. But I already have two positions that I would want to fill that role. Don't worry Anubis will not have a high ranking. He would take it to his head.." His yellow eyes softened and he barked "Though my plan for you is to be Alpha and Beta Advisor. If Recon agrees. But I trust you fully other than Recon.. And I would rather my advisor be someone Recon and I can trust and that the Alpha and Beta can choose. I'm tired of ranks being challenged.."

Sable/Female/Subordinate/ m: directly: Star, Timber, and Jeraboa After everyone has eaten, Sable took a steadying breath and looked toward the river, as it carved its way through the field ahead. “I say we continue following the river. It must lead somewhere,” she said, looking back at the others. They began moving, staying close together as they followed the river. The terrain was lush and open, with soft grass underfoot and bursts of wildflowers along the edges. The sky stretched endlessly above them, and there was an almost surreal peace to the way the river wound its way through the field. But as they moved on, the surroundings began to subtly shift; the river’s pace quickened, and the ground grew rockier beneath their paws. Ahead, the field sloped downward, drawing them closer to the river’s edge. The river seemed to disappear over a small cliff, the sound of rushing water growing louder as they approached. Sable’s eyes widened as she stepped forward and looked down, her breath catching. The river cascaded into a majestic waterfall, plummeting into a deep gorge below. The cliffs on either side of the waterfall were steep and rugged. Sunlight filtered through the mist the waterfall was creating, casting tiny rainbows. Sable took a few steps closer to the edge, mesmerized by the beauty. “It’s beautiful,” she said to no one in particular. Sable’s gaze followed a small path leading down into the gorge. They could go down there or go back the way they’d come and search the field for a safer place where the pack might find shelter. She wasn't sure what would be best, so she looked at her group waiting for their thoughts and ideas.

Star/Female/subordinate/M: Sable, Jeraboa & Timber (directly) “Glad to help.” She smiled, licking the blood from her paws and maw as she studied the area around them. Timber and Jeraboa seemed to feel better and she was happy about that. (sorry for small post)

Echo/Subordinate/Female/Mentions: Merlin All her thoughts froze at Merlin's words before pushing them aside for now. She eyed her rabbit while rolling the concerns over in her mind. There had to be a way to help him. "Let's start with shelter. I don't think it is here and the cave is too small along with it being wide open and if distracted or in a rush then someone could fall off the cliff. We don't know about the other territories yet so you can get a update", barked Echo thinking as the thoughts rolled in her mind. Finally the mention of ranks. Oh she was well aware of the challenges for ranks and she found it stupid but she prefered not annoying the beta or alpha with challenges. The trust that Merlin had in her had taken her by surprise. "I'll accept but as long as Recon agrees so you will need to talk to him"", barked Echo her eyes soft and her voice warm. Her problem was she had no idea on what Recon will think, agree or disagree. Either way Echo will know eventually. Edited at November 7, 2024 12:36 AM by Feiella

Recon | Beta | Male| M: Doji & Kiran Recon followed swiftly behind Doji, hopping over a gnarled tree root or two on his way and slowing down when they reached the clearing. Sunlight filtered through the dense canopy above, sending rays down and creating spotlights on the forest floor. The rock formation didn't seem to have any dangerously sharp edges which Recon noted as he padded over to stick his head into one of the dens. A couple of bones were littered on the ground but upon closer inspection, he figured they were quite old. Backing out, he nodded and began walking over towards the others. "It's a nice spot. Looks like it was abandoned awhile ago. My only question is why it was abandoned, but I think it would be a nice spot to call home." His voice was soft, almost as if he was thinking aloud and hadn't really been speaking to his packmates as he sat down. Recon stifled a laugh as he watched her, amused by yet again another sudden shift in her mood. How could she go from mildly playful, to dismissive and grumpy, to yet again playful? Recon wasn't exactly sure he wanted to know, nor did he think he would ever quite understand it. Females confused him, but he wasn't about to argue with her newfound joy. "I won't argue with a training session. We could all probably use a brush up anyways." There was a small smile on his face, one you wouldn't see unless you were looking as he shifted his gaze over to Kiran, "Are you up for it?"

Doji and Kiran | Female and Male | Subordinates | Recon and Eachother The male dog perked up hearing Recon's offer. He chirped "Of course!" Kiran looked at Doji and lunged at her watching Doji fastly dodge out of the way. Kiran growled playfully "Come back here, Doji!" Kiran watched Doji tilt her head at the male and she barked "What? You gotta catch me first. It's all about being faster than your opponent. Yes we are playing Kiran. But take it as a life lesson on fighting.." Kiran looked confused at her words, only to be stunned by Doji running towards him nipped his side. He let out a playful growl trying to bite her scruff." "Kiran. All your mind is thinking about is all offense. Defense is your best advantage. If you want to immobilize and tire out your enemy. Move and be faster. Quick and powerful strikes will immobilize them.." Kiran jumped on Doji's back making her yelp making Kiran startled from the sound. "Doji, I'm so..." Doji then rolled over grabbing Kiran's scruff pinning him to the ground.
Kiran protested "That's not fair! Doji you faked being hurt!" "Yes, I did. No matter who you are battling.. You can never underestimate your opponent. No one fights fair when it comes to life or death. We are in the wild now, bud." Kiran gruffed a little bummed being bested by the female dog. He turned to Recon with a sly smirk. He let out a deep wolf towards him. He crouched low to the ground wiggling his body ready to pounce on Recon. Kiran pouted "Recon will you fight fair.. She just beat me not playing fair.. Please.." Doji laid down amused ready to watch them go at it.

Recon | Beta | Male| M: Doji & Kiran Recon's tail wagged as he watched the pair play, a warm fuzzy feeling washing over him. He was glad they were having fun, but he couldn't wait for his turn as he got up and stretched, a large yawn escaping him before he shook out his coat. "She just taught you a valuable lesson, Kiran." He replied, taking a couple steps towards the young male before he dropped into a playful bow, "Life isn't fair. If you were fighting again Anubis, would he fight fair?" Recon waited for a moment before pouncing on the pup, tackling him to the ground with a lighthearted growl. "Show me what you've got, kid."

Jeraboa - Male - Low ranked subordinate - M: Star, Sable, Timber, Nightingale Jeraboa inches his way down the path. He does his best to keep his rear foot up, but he is glad a small amount of weight can be put on it, because he needs it. Boa can smell a rodent scurrying nearby. He can still Nightingale, but it is probably just on his and Timber's pelts.
