Zen | M | 7 | Kid | Mouse | M: Rylee, Sylvar
Zen had finally woken up, mainly due to the scent of sweet fruit. He loved everything sweet and it was one of the few things that could actually wake him up. He sat up and rubbed his eyes for a moment before looking around, eyes squinted at the bright light from the sun. He saw most people were already awake, like usual he was one of the last to wake up. He stretched his arms before he got up. He was still tired from what had happened the day before so it took him a bit before he finally managed to stay stable on his feet. Holding onto Sylvar also helped. He looked up to the male and gave a small smile. "Good morning." He said, before he turned to the food. Sylvar | M | 21 | Healer | Chital deer | M: Matei, Zen, Rylee, Skya Sylvar nodded when Matei excused himself from the conversation. He saw Skya walked over to them and he smiled when she got some food out of her pouch. "Thank you Skya." He smiled, looking at the options. It was indeed not much, but it was probably enough for now. He could probably find more once they were on their way again. "Good morning." He said, looking down and petting the little boy who held onto him. He saw Zen was looking to the food and he smiled. "You can go eat something." He looked to Rylee. "You too."

Chloe|F|15|Warrior|Dog|M: Open Chloe follows Clover back to camp. As soon as she starts to cut the fish, Chloe becomes a bit bored. She walks toward a pine tree. Its branches stretch pretty high above a few smaller trees. Chloe wagged her tail slowly behind her. She looked back at the others. They won't need me until the patrollers come back...right? She thought. Chloe shook her head, thinking it was fine. She grabbed onto a low branch, swinging herself onto the next. She kept climbing the tree, reaching almost 15 feet in the air before the branches became skinnier and less sturdy to hold her weight. She sat down on a branch and looked down upon the camp. She closed her eyes for a second, breathing in the cool air. Her ears folded back against her head as she opened her eyes again. She thought of the last few years; rough and dangerous. She wiped a tear from her eye thinking of her parents. They had been so caring and kind to her until they found out about her ability to transform. From that point on, she wasn't really able to sleep, always trying to sneak out of her window and sleep outside, somewhere that she'd always felt safe. Though she was in constant fear of being killed by her parents, she still cared. She didn't understand how they could be so selfish and try to take away a gift granted to those worthy of it. She growled slightly and took her knife out of her pocket, the one thing she had left from her parents; her father's pocket knife. She had stolen it the night before abandoning her parents to be with those like her; wanted and gifted. Chloe stood up, her ears folded back in an angry way now. She pointed the knife at another tree close by. "NO ONE...will hurt us. NO ONE...will be hurt. NO ONE...will be captured. Everyone will stay safe." She said to herself, folding the knife down and putting it back in her pocket. "Only hurt those who deserve it and to protect others or yourself." Chloe then breathed in and lifted her ears back up. Smiling, she said, "Be careful out there...the pack is hunting us. The leaders will help us get through this." She then sat back down on the branch, watching the group. She smiled, wondering when the patrollers would return.

Matei|M, kid 13|Wolf Shifter|M:Theo, Skya, open He ran over and hugged his brother not needing to say anything else knowing they both understood each other. Matei began making his way back towards the food. One of the groups hunters was finishing up with cooking food. He saw fish but his mouth watered when he smelled the cooking rabbit. "Hi " Skya was her name if he remembered correctly "Can I have some of the rabbit please. " he gave a quick shyish smile. Hands in the pockets of his dark green hoodie. He wanted to eat and then maybe go read or something. Maybe play by the water with the other kids. He didn't know yet.

Clover/F/Hunter/C:Open/M:Open No one responds so she starts to pick at the fish. She gets a piece and nibbles on it. She looked around again, checking out the perimeter of the camp. The woods were alive, it was a good day for hunting. She finished the fish, and took some and put it next to the rabbit. She then walked over to the woods, and shifted into a bobcat.

Arya / Female / 15 / Snow Leopard / Patroller / M: Tarn Her own thoughts wandered as she passed Tarn, her snow leopard coat dancing in the sunlight. Her past flashed before her, deadly and forthcoming. Her travels to this group, the pain and exhaustion. All was dark, everything. Silence ensued. All was broken by the snapping of a twig. The darkness revealed a young girl, just 10 years old, sleeping peacefully under the stars, in an alleyway of shadows. The darkness had hit its peak, and dawn was awaiting this young girl, if only she would wake. She had no parents, or none that she could call her own. She had been abandoned, a freak some would say. That’s what her parents called her when she first transformed. They had no room for a strange alien creature of a daughter that they had produced. Or was she adopted? Many had said this, including herself in her head, insecurity was a common theme in her knowledgable brain. But mainly it was filled with secrets and lies about her horror ridden past. Her first transformation, the eve of her ninth birthday. Her mother screamed as leopard like fur began to creep across her skin. Arya shrieked too, not knowing what was happening to her. She fell onto all fours, now finding not on her hands and knees, but four large paws, all grey in colour. She screamed again, but this time only a stunted roar came out. Arya whipped around, noticing a snaking tail behind her. The pain was unbearable, and swaying, she blacked out. Arya woke in a cold damp street. She was alone, and it was in the middle of the night. She had obviously transformed in her stupour and was completely in her human form again, although she was shaking from the pain of transformation. She was by herself, her parents nowhere to be seen. She shivered in the cold. Her eleventh birthday, two years since her first time shifting. She had lived as a homeless beggar at first, residing in the very same alleyway she had been left in. She had then begun to transform at will, learning how to hunt and therefore finding prey in a much easier fashion. She moved to a nearby park, and hunted there at night while keeping out of sight during the day. She would spend almost all of her days in her snow leopard form. Her fourteenth birthday, first light. She had decided to move on, with the other shifters. During her time, she had met several of her own kind, including Tarn. She had been horrified at his past, something that she hoped no one would ever have to go through. They had moved together, although somewhat seperate as they journeyed to find a better home. A better culture. A better livelihood for future children of their own. The human hybrids banded together, everyone helping everyone, and Arya enjoyed that, she enjoyed it a lot. Snapping out of her thoughts, she padded along, continuing away from camp slightly. She heard a snaping sound and whipped around. Spying a tiger walking a few stride lengths behind her. “Well hello Tarn. There was really no need to not reveal your presence. Walk with me if you like.” She said calmly, although her mind whirred beneath her skull.

Rylee | Female | 10 | Kid | Dall Lamb | M: Sylvar; Skya Rylee watched Matei go, the younger boy bolting straight for his older brother as the man stepped into the clearing, and a dull ache spread throughout her chest. A hand came up to grasp at her shirt, eyes trained on the pair as they sat together under a tree. Her heart lurched again as a frown snuck its way onto her face. Sure, the others had all left people behind- as far as she was aware, everyone else didn't particularly like their kin- but it didn't make her heart hurt any less. Out of the three children in the group, Matei was the only one that escaped with his family- an older brother. She wasn't even sure if Zen had any family. The little boy never talked about it and no one brought it up. Rylee had a family though, a mama who loved her very, very much, so why didn't she get to come with? Why did Theo get to bring Matei when Rylee wasn't allowed to take her mother? It wasn't fair! Why did she have to come alone? She resisted the urge to stomp her foot angrily. There was nothing she could do, however, to stop her ears from flicking in annoyance. Both hands came up to grasp the limbs forcefully to keep them from moving. She had to be good, Mama said so before they all left. A warm smile, pillow-soft wool, and slightly calloused hands floated to the forefront of her mind. 'Go with them, Rylee. Just behave and everything will be okay.' And she was trying- honestly, she was! But it was so, so hard to when someone else had everything she ever wanted. Was it wrong to be so jealous of the older boy? Tears came to her eyes and she bit her lip to keep them from spilling over. For one stupidly selfish moment, she wanted to bury herself in the nearest person's arms and simply hide away from the rest of the world. But no matter how badly she wanted someone to notice and take all the gross, icky pain away, she knew that wasn't fair. No one wanted to take care of a whiny brat, and more importantly than that: It wasn't anyone here's job to take care of her. Sure, they had Skylar. But the man had a job to do like everyone else and she didn't want to get in the way. There was also Matei. But he was barely any older than her and was off with his brother more often than not. Not that she didn't appreciate the company that he did provide, but it just wasn't enough. She wanted a parent. She wanted her mom. Someone new skipped over and shattered the contemplative haze into pieces. There was no time for being sad, there were so many bigger problems to worry about. She wiped at her eyes bitterly, buying some time for her heart to settle down and the frown still tugging at her lips to cease. When she looked up, however, her chest jolted for a completely different reason and her ears pinned back nervously. Someone new was standing in front of her. Someone she hadn't met yet before. Rylee eyed the newcomer warily, shuffling to the side a bit to press into Skylar's leg in search of comfort. She wasn't exactly scared- no one in the camp had given her any reason to be afraid- but she couldn't help it when her brain screamed danger at the sight of a preditor. For Matei, it was easy to handle as the boy was still a pup, he couldn't register as a threat yet, but his brother on the other hand... Well, she tended to avoid him. He seemed sweet though, she thought, as she peeked over at the duo cuddling beneath the tree again. Her heart did the weird squeezing thing again so she quickly turned her attention back to the two adults beside her. A bag was passed off to Skylar and she looked up curiously at the sweet scent that drifted from it. Her stomach rumbled with hunger and her face lit up a rosy color, arms wrapping around her middle as if to silence the grumbling noises it emitted. The newcomer sits and begins to play with the grass, which eases Rylee's nerves enough for her to let go of their healer's leg. Instead, she thanked the young woman, Skya she believed Skylar had called her? and turned her attention to the fruits the man was now holding. "Can I have some?" Sylvar | M | 21 | Healer | Chital deer | M: Zen, Rylee, Skya While he had been talking to Skya the little lamb had held onto him as well so he now had to kids holding onto him. He smiled down to the two when they both had asked if they could have some of the fruit he was holding. He sat down on the grass and opened the bag, taking out the apples and holding them out for the two to take. He chuckled softly as Zen quickly grabbed one of the apples and immediately nibbled on it. He patiently waited for Rylee to take the other one before taking out a third apple for himself. After finishing his apple he looked into the bag, pondering if they could eat everything now or if they should keep some for later. He decided the first thing, he could always find more, maybe ask Skya where she had found it all. He took out the berries and inspected them quickly before letting the kids take a few. "Don't take everything." He warned Zen, who glared at him for a second before taking a few berries. Zen | M | 7 | Kid | Mouse | M: Rylee, Sylvar Zen smiled happily when Sylvar held out the apples and he quickly grabbed one to eat. He sat down as well, his tail curled around his feet. After a few bites he ate even faster, loving the sweet taste from the apple. He loved everything that tasted sweet. Before he even finished the apple he was already looking to the bag with food again, wondering what else was inside. It still had sweet scents coming from it. Sylvar was looking into the bag and Zen tilted his head, wondering what the older male was thinking about. He licked his lips when he saw the berries the male was now holding and he quickly wanted to take them, being stopped by the warning. He glared to Sylvar for a moment before taking a few berries, leaving some for the other two as well.
