"Yes. He attacked me and almost killed me. He then killed all the pups in the pack. That is why you haven't seen mine or anyone elses and why some of the members are excited that you are having pups." Shadow explained. "Didn't Morpheus tell you or did he forget to explain that as well?"

Pasa trotted out of the den not wanting to be there when they started to fight.

Morpheus growled a little at Shadow. "I was a little worried wondering if either of you would live."

"I'm sorry to hear that, I actually want to cry, because that is sad" She said to her.

"Yeah it upset all of the females alot. As usual the males don't really care." Shadow said. She offered a small tentive smile at Morpheus.

Morpheus nuzzled Tori. "Don't worry my love. I wont let anyone hurt you or the pups." He licked her check then licked her nose.

Tori wagged her tail. She then licked him back, and got up, biting at a stick.

Morpheus got up and trotted out of the den. He decided since Tori was doing better and Shadow was doing better, He would go on a hunting trip. He let out a howl to call the hunters.

"Where you going Pheus?" Tori asked, rubbing against him.

"Going on a hunting trip. I'll be back soon." He said as the hunting party showed up. He gave her another lick on the nose before starting to walk away.

Tori smiled, watching him walk off.

Morpheus ran out of the pack, the hunters running close behind. He lifted his head to the air and sniffed for food. He caught the scent of moose and headed in that direction.

Tori sat down. "Should I be worried about him?" She mumbled, worried.
