Hunger woke up to Mochas movement. He silently squeezed passed her and headed out of the den. Hunger lept a good 3 feet into the air and dropped down with a dead pidgeon in his jaws. He layed the carcass down in the main part of the den and waited patiently for Mocha to awaken.

Mocha woke up, yawning. She silently looked around, extremely confused before memories from yesterday came flooding back. It would take her some time to get use to all of this.. and she knew she'd miss her owner. Her collar was the only thing she had left of her owner. Mocha sighed, wishing she had brought her lamb. Mocha then got a scent of blood in the air and pawed, covering her nose "Ew, what died?" she mumbled.

"Good Morning, Puppy Dog." Hunger said cooly as she padded into the main den with a look of disgust "Oh, you dont like raw meat, huh?" He bit into the pidgeon and swallowed a big chunk. He nosed the rest towards mocha "its good, trust me.." he said softly. He padded ot of the main den and snarled "oh! KINGSTON! YOUR EARLY!!!!!". A big wolf padded in and into the den on the left "Dont worry about him" He muttered to Mocha

"yeah.. good morning." She yawned. Mocha then sleepily watched Hunger with disgust as he bit into the pigeon, she'd rather starve than ever do that "I'm far too good for that.. I'm never, ever, eating a dead animal! it's not all that different from eating road kill." she stopped herself from gagging, trying to not look at the bird. Mocha hoped, by some miracle, she'd find dog food out here. Her ears perked as she looked at the other wolf, curious as to who it was "Who's that?" she whispered back. Mocha's ears pinned when she was called a "she-wolf", huffing out of annoyance "He called me a 'she wolf', is he really that stupid? you can't just call someone something that they're not!" she lowly growled, "am I gonna get dragged into this whole weird wolf thing with weird roles?" she innocently asked, tilting her head.

"Yep, you sure are." he said. There was no way to sugar coat it. "well, let me explain how survival works"he said matter-of-factly "#1 water , #2 food, #3 skills , and #4 rank". He went on talking about surviving for about 1:30.

If it was possible to die out of boredom, Mocha would be dead. But she listened carefully, she didn't want to be completely clueless. "I-.. I'm not going to be around other wolves too much, right?" she asked, almost shyly, she was scared she'd get picked on for being a dog. She was especially small for her breed, and knew she'd probably get stepped on or pushed around a couple times. She had a looming thought of rejection, what if others rejected her because she wasn't a wolf? Surely thats bound to happen, right?

"No," He said nudging her with his nose "Only during trades, and meetings." Also i have a surprise," Earlier that morning, before he had caught the birb, he had snuck back to Dorthy's house and stolen back the squeacky lamb. He pulled the toy from under one of the large leaves nearby. "here." he said placing it at her paws.

Mocha gasped, wagging her tail "Oh my gosh!" she instantly picked it up "thank you thank you thank you!!" she muffled, squeaking it a couple of times before placing it down, licking the side of Hungers cheek. She kept the lamb insanely close to her, it being one of the only reminds she had of her home. Mocha noticed her paws had became dirty from the den, and began grooming them, she couldn't stand being dirty.
