Luna felt her legs lightly shaking but the wolfdog kept herself standing incase they need to move again, quietly catching her breath. Her body was stiff along with her tail, looking off to the side, putting little trust in the lead dogs but why the sudden stop?.....They were so close to winning the race, it felt like today wasn't in their favor.. |

Dylan Dylan looked over at the male with, compasion, for the first time he saw Mukluk as a dog, a team member and posibly a friend. He then helped the male up then looked down at the ground, not saying anything, he couldnt belilve he had been so mean. Charity Charity looked back into Marbels eyes saying yes, but we need to go! She then felt eyes on her! She then froxe again as she tightly closed her eyes, wishing she was back with her mom and family. | |

She tripped on a rock and it almost sent her flying into Yukon. She then caught herself and looked ahead of the trail, focusing harder. |

Luna looked back at Mukluk slightly, hearing his words but she had nothing to say in return...she couldn't really think of anything to say in truth...she knew that she slowed down for Charity to help her keep up before speeding back up to normal pace but...maybe that wasn't enough. The wolfdog sat down, giving her legs a rest for now before keeping her focus on the ground a bit. She closed her eyes, her ears remained flattened against her skull..If only I was born a different breed that was purebred..I maybe wouldn't be in this position but...I have to accept that I'm born as a hybrid mutt in this life... She opened her eyes, looking up from the ground as she saw the lead dogs take off, pushing herself off the sit position as she sprints, running along side Yukon to keep in pace with the other dogs, forcing her thoughts into the back of her mind as she needed to focus on the task at paw for now. |

Dylan Dylan almost got choked when they started suddenly but managed to be ok. He then ran beside Mukluk, in perfect harmony. Charity Charity got yanked forward but managed to be ok. When all the dogs were being quiet Charity began the perfect stride she had done before. Yukon Yukon saw as Ava almost ran into her but took off when the took off again. When everything was going good she asked Ava if she was ok. Alex Alex nodded as Marbel barked, she barked! She couldnt belive her ears and caught herslef off gaurd when a stick came flying at her. It hit her but she managed to keep up. |

Alex Alex could see the finish line....They just needed to run harder! There was two team infront of them and 8 behind them....They just need to work harder. Alex pumped her legs as fast and as hard as she could. Soon the pasted one team, then pasted the finish line....They got second! |

Marbel skidded to a halt, breathing hard. They got second place! It sure wasn't first, but it was still good for a rookie team! She leaped for joy. . Mukluk jumped up and down, happy as a lark, his tongue hanging out. They got second! Amazing! |
