Knight eyed the fox then looked back at Seya "what can I say, I'm accident prone" he licks a thorn out of his paw " besides, Time heals all wounds"

Seya looked back at Knight and helped pick off things in his fur before sighing. "Not all wounds heal with time, Knight." She said and then looked around for things to heal him with and walked into a different part of the forest and walked back out with herbs and a few other things. She sat back down next to him and said, "please be still. These herbs will help to heal you but it won't be a miracle. It'll still hurt for a few days." She then started to apply the herbs and remedies she made onto his wounds and used a few leaves to keep it there.

Knight breathed in the scent of herbs, as Seya applied the remedies he felt relief on some of his smaller wounds "sometimes it does" he said he looked into Seyas worried eyes, "look," he puts his paw on hers " I will be okay"

Seya looked at him and nodded slowly. She couldn't help but worry, though, as she didn't want to see him, or anyone, hurt. "But I'm scared that one day when I find you you'll be too hurt for me to heal you." She whimpered and looked at a random bird that flew by. "I don't want that to happen." She looked back at him as her eyes started to glisten from incoming tears. "You mean too much to me for that to happen." She said, her voice cracked as she started crying. "Please don't get hurt anymore. Please." She begged him as she felt like she couldn't breathe, her heart was squeezed from her emotions.

Knight hated to see her so close to crying " I promise " he whispered " at the best of my ability I will stay by your side, throughout the winters to come. And I won't leave for a while" he licks her tears off her face then licks her nose.

Seya sniffled back anymore tears and she breathed in his scent and calmed down. Bottling up her sorrow once again she forced herself to calm down. "Okay. That's a promise!" She said and then smiled. "And in return, I'll do the same! I'll do my best to heal you if you ever do get hurt." She blushed when he licked her nose. She giggled from it, too, before she licked his cheek in return.

Knight snuggled into Seyas flower smelling fur, " thank you " he whispers into her ear " for being there" he was slowly lulled to sleep by the crickets in the trees.

Seya looked at him and blushed. "Of course." She whispered to him before seeing him sleep. She was happy to be with him by her side as she hummed a soft lullaby to help him relax in his sleep. She laid down next to him and continued her low humn.

Frost watched the interaction between them from his view on a low tree branch. Dark Night finally fell asleep and Seya laid down beside him. Frost flicked his ears before saying softly to Seya, "A strong promise that is. Protect you both we shall. Once he wakes, we will go back to the rest of the pack. Safer there we will be." For once, there was no sarcasm or joke in his words. He was totally serious and it showed in his eyes.

Seya looked at Frost and nodded to him. "I know it's a.. Strong promise, but it's one that I will hold to my heart from here on out." She said and then smiled. "Why don't you come down here? Rest next to me, please, and keep me company while we wait." She stretched out her back legs a little as she yawned from her relaxed state and looked at a few little animals on the sidelines before she focused on Frost once more.
