Artemis heard the pup put couldn't get to her and whispered "It's ok Louvel we are going to fine" but inside she was panicking. She suddenly had an idea "Lou could you put the basket in my back so you can climb under the blanket if it it will protect you from the smoke do it NOW!" She commanded. Her hazel eyes were beginning to sting.

Louvel heard Artemis and nudged the basket onto the she wolf's back with help from Artemis and untied the ribbons that were on the basket and re put them so Artemis could hold the ribbons gently in her teeth. Louves leaped into the basket and snuggled underneath my the cover . He wondered how Artemis would cope with the painful smoke so he ripped off two pieces and gave them to Artemis where he placed them firmly on her nose snd mouth and the other on her eyes. "To protect you from the evil smoke" he said and then covered himself and they set off.

Knight felt something toward Seya he wasn't sure what yet but he knew he felt something. He took Seya to the small patch of flowers where no fire had spread yet. He put her in the flowers "i know you were trying to save the forest but you can't, but maybe you can collect the seeds of these flowers and we can grow more" he handed her a large cupped leaf "start collecting i ll be over in a minute to help"

Seya gasped and looked at the pretty flowers. She smiled and nodded to him, picking up the gentle leaf and using it to gently carry the flower seeds. Her tail wagged happily as she smelt the flowers. Small clumps of her sooty-brown fur fell off, revealing her white fur. Though she didn't realize this at the time, she felt much lighter as the weight on her body started lifting. She looked at Dark Knight and smiled. "Thank you very much." She said and bowed her head. "This means a lot to me." She was very grateful that he found her and rescued her.

Knight bowed his head back at Seya "you are a very brave wolf" he says before walking toward the river. In the river, he helps some animals who can't swim in the blackened water. he steps back out of the water with a few small animals clinging to his back. squirrels, mice, rabbits, all the animals he once would've hunted seeking shelter in his fur. Knight walks back towards Seya he grabs another leaf cup and gathers seeds with her. the animals on his back falling asleep

Seya looked up from her seed scavenging and saw Dark Knight and the array of different animals he has. She smiled a little at him and the animals. So animals like him too? She thought with a happy wag of her tail. She closed the leaf with another and tied it close and smiled. She looked at him and rested her head against his shoulder and laughed a little. "I'm not brave, mister Knight. You are." She said and placed her paw on his snout. "You are a knight after all." She smiled with a giggle.

"why can't we both be brave together?" Knight asks he shook his head to get soot out of his ears and looked back at Seya. Night was not too far away with her pups asleep next to her

Seya looked at him. Shocked and blinking. So much. "You.. You want to be brave. With me." She was so surprised by him that she didn't see where Night was at this point. She looked at him and smiled. "Why?" She asked and then remembered where her paw was and removed her paw from his snout with a slight blush.

Glacier held Calli in her mouth carrying her away from the smoke and fire her eyes starting to sting and water from the smoke. She broke through the brush near the others again and set Cali down by the water. She shook her head and dipped it into the stream washing the smoke from her eyes. She shook the water out and had Cali do the same and looked for Gwendolyn and the others. Her white fur was blackened with soot.

Gwendolyn coughed her red fur becoming black with soot she saw a figure ahead and realized it was Artemis she gave a top and ran up to Artemis. "Artemis this way hurry!" She turned in the direction she had come from and looked back waiting for Artemis to follow.

Artemis heard Gwendolyn and followed her. Artemis gave a strip of cloth to firmly put on her eyes and her nose and mouth "To help with the evil smoke apparently" Luaghed Artemis but has she breathed in air she breathed in Smoke and coughed. At least The strip of cloth helped. She thought. She followed her friend's scent.

"It's going to be ok" she whispered to Louvel.

Gwendolyn weaved her way a little slower than when she had gone I to the forest to make sure Artemis could easily keep up with her she let out a howl letting the others know she was beaded back to the highway with Artemis and Lou.
