Years ago, the world lived as one Empire, with the East and the West ruled by one ruler by the name of Alecerus Galashiels, also known as the Dreaded King. Alecerus and his dragon, Xairdinth the Dread, ruled the Empire under a cruel and bloodied hand. An army where every man and woman had dragons - an army that was led by his closest friend, sister, and general, Imogene Galashiels. However, tension was rising amongst the common folk, even within his army. His friend knew a rebellion would come, yet the foolish Emperor didn't take her words seriously. Not wanting to be on the losing side, or upset the people any further, she decided to take it upon her own hands - doing the most despicable actions known to man. As her elder brother slept, Imogene snuck into his chambers and killed him. Not even sparing his wife and children out of fear they would rebel.

With his death, the Empire was in disarray and the Great War was started. The Great War lasted 20 years, and many men and dragons were slain one after another, significantly declining the population. Imogene finally decided to divide the Empire into many countries that everyone now knows today, with her keeping her homeland and giving the rest to powerful nobles. She died before she saw how the lands would flourish at age 68, with her eldest son, Albertis taking the throne. During his rule, he tried to reconquer the lands that once belonged to what he deemed as the 'True Rulers', and decided to start a war to reclaim the lands to the West. Of course, with a few populace of dragons remaining, he doesn't have enough manpower to do so. As such, he allied himself with the kingdoms to the East.

Promising them land if they succeed in the war, which the other kingdoms eagerly agreed to. So, a second war occurred, but this time, a World War. The East and the West faced off together in a battle that only lasted 10 years when it reached a stalemate - coming to a mutual understanding. Not to mention the death of Albertis adds complications to the war. At present, tensions between the East and West are still high, despite this, the heirs to each kingdom were set off to join Wiscardia Academy when they successfully bonded with their dragons. The heirs of each kingdom are now stuck in a school filled with enemies and/or friends of other kingdoms - forced to join a team and work together.

Of course. Not every school life can be normal, as there's an unseen threat within the shadows.

1: Be active. Please don't join up just to leave - I would like this RP to last for a while. I expect posts 1-2 a week, and if you need to take a break or be inactive please inform me beforehand via PM or Discussion. Inactivity will lead to your character being removed from the RP.
2: No OP or Mary Sue, Weeping Willow's, Gary's, or any characters of the like.
3: This is a Semi-Literate to Literate RP. I expect at least 150 + words per post. Put the missing number somewhere in your form, hidden. Also, I required a detailed and well-written appearance and description of your character. This includes proper grammar rules and any form not following these requirements will be declined.
4: No OOC problems. Hate the character but not the player - any instances of unbecoming behavior will not be tolerated, and mods will be contacted if needed.
5: Reservations last for 48 hours and you may only reserve two roles at a time. The reservation doesn't start until you actually post and begin working on the forms. You will be allowed to have 2 - 12 hour extensions if needed to complete a form, otherwise, the spot will be open for someone else.
7: I as the owner of the RP reserve the right to accept and decline forms as I see fit. I will not tolerate rude behavior towards me just because you got declined - if you do get declined, try and work on your form, and maybe it'll get accepted due to the corrections. Put thunderbird in other. I hope to RP with many new faces - so come on, I don't bite.
8: I will make a 4-character limit, however as the RP progresses, I'll allow you to make as many characters as you can handle.
9: I will allow art for your characters since cartoonish human art is allowed - make sure they are properly credited and follow all of the WP regulations or this rule will be redacted.
10: This RP is not a heavy romance RP and there may be some hints of it so I'll get this out the way - no romances between your own character [the exception is if the character has a deceased lover or one that'll die later on.] Also, you are allowed to have your characters be siblings, cousins, etc.
11: Don't be the character constantly disrespecting the superiors and higher-ups - it can be fun but it's also annoying. After all why do
you want your character to constantly get in trouble.
12: Any questions are to be asked via PMs - I don't want this thread clogged up.
13: I understand that backstories are fun and giving characters angst and tragedy makes them spicy, but come on - not every single character needs a sob story, but also please don't anyways make your characters have the best or perfect life. Happy middle-class families are nice to hear about. But also be creative with this.

═════════•♔• :The Heirs and Soul Bond: •♔•═════════

To become an Heir, one doesn't have to be a direct offspring of the current House Head, but one has to be closely related to them (niece/nephew, cousin, sibling, etc). Heirs are those of the royal family who have received a dragon. Those without Dragons are deemed unfit to become the next House Head, and thus, unworthy to rule the kingdom. Those unselected aren't banished, per se, yet they face some form of scrutiny by family members who had Dragons. With the rarity of Tamed Dragons after the Great War, this seems to have worsened, and the conflict within the families gradually intensified. This puts a lot of pressure on the Heirs, who have to live up to their families' expectations while enduring envy from the family unchosen by Dragons.

To become a Rider, a Dragon picks the person they want to bond with, and the Rider rarely has++ a choice in the selection. Every Dragon has different opinions on what they want in their Rider, with Dragons tending to pair themselves up with those with the same personality and ideals. Members of the royal family between the ages of 16-21 are taken to the Dragon's Hatchery, a nesting and holding grounds for their Dragons are kept and taken care of. Dragons within the Hatchery were raised and bred by the royal families for centuries, which allows the Dragons to recognize the smell of royal blood, letting the Dragons know who is and isn't royal.

A Dragon would scrutinize every selected candidate and select their next Rider. Those not chosen are promptly sent back to the castle, leaving the ones chosen to have time to bond with their Dragons. Sometimes, a Dragon may reject the young candidates offered and pick someone older, possibly due to a Dragon not finding the younger candidates fit their qualifications. Some Dragons are pickier than others, especially older Dragons who have had their fair share of Riders throughout the years and are highly critical when being introduced to new Riders. So, most older Dragons within the roost are skipped past, with the candidates being introduced to the younger Dragons instead, as the younger ones aren't as fussy and easy to introduce the candidates to.

Once bonded, a Sigil would appear on the chosen Rider's bodies, with the placement different from each other's. The Sigil is magical, a sign that the Dragon and Rider are connected through the soul. The appearance of the Sigils is different from one other, be the color or the design of the Sigil, which is based on a Dragon's element. It's to let others know who and what kind of Dragon someone is bonded to. An invisible connection between beast and man, granting the two different species communicate telepathically. Dragons and humans don't speak the same language, with the royal children being taught Dragonic at a young age to speak some of the languages used by Dragons to verbally communicate with them just in case their telepathic link gets blocked or broken. Sigils aren't just a spiritual connection but physically and emotionally, too.

The Soul Bond can make a Dragon and Rider instinctively find each other no matter where they are. For a newly bonded pair, it's a tricky thing to use, as since their bond is still fresh, the connection between them isn't as strong and quite faint. It makes it quite difficult to find the exact location of one another compared to a more experienced bonded pair. While the Sigils may not increase the lifespan of a Rider, they can grant a few benefits to a human, such as resistance to certain elements, with an example being a Rider having a higher resistance to fire due to them having a fire Dragon. Riders also have a few enhanced physical capabilities that normal humans can't achieve, such as better strength and mobility.

The bonded pair can feel and experience any pain the other is going through. If a Rider or Dragon dies, the connection is severed, with the Sigil fading away from the Rider's body. The Rider, if the one alive, would lose not only their granted perks but a part of themselves.

═════════•♔• :Dragons: •♔•═════════

There are many subspecies of dragons than your stereotypical dragons with four legs and two wings. Dragons come in many appearances and are not limited to one; even the environments they live in are different from each other. No matter where you go, you'll see all forms of dragons, whether in the land, sky, or sea. Dragons have adapted themselves to fit the ever-changing world - managing to live alongside humans for centuries, be it peacefully or aggressively. Seeing a dragon is normal for people, as you'll see them in your town, in the wilderness, or traveling from one country to another. Amazingly, studies have shown that the same species of dragons are the same, but their bodies have adapted to thrive in the environment that they're in.

Normal Elements

Elements that are commonly used by all Dragons, no matter the Types. In unique circumstances, Dragons may breed with another Dragon despite having different elements, which could result in two things: the dragonlings may only inherit one element from one of their parents, or two, and very rarely, would a dragonling have the chance to inherit both elements simultaneously, creating an elemental mixture. However, elemental mixtures only happen with Normal Elements, not the Special Elements.

Special Elements

Special Elements are elements that are beyond normal and extremely rare powers for Dragons to inherit. Due to their specialty, even if Dragons with the Special Elements were to breed with Dragons with the same element as them, the chance for an offspring to inherit the Special Element would still be low and would be given a Normal Element instead. As such, encountering Dragons with Special Elements is both a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a quick death.

Elemental Mixtures

Elemental Mixtures occur when two Dragons of the same Type have two different Normal Elements breed and rarely produce an offspring that managed to inherit both parents' elements instead of just one. Examples of Elemental Mixtures are Fire-Water, Lightning-Earth, and Acid-Ice. Dragons with Elemental Mixtures would have scale colorizations from both parents too, with an example being a dragon that has the red scales of a fire-elemental Dragon yet the secondary colors of an ice-elemental Dragon.

Six Types

Dragon Types are based on their appearances more than their actual abilities. The dragons recorded in history and documented by historians and researchers give a better picture of the various species.

Dragon and Drakes
Dragons and Drakes are scaled, reptilian creatures. Many consider them distant cousins, considering how closely related they are. In a Brood, Dragons stay close to the nests and inner territory while Drakes venture off to hunt or patrol. If there's trouble and the Drakes get overwhelmed, they'll roar an alarm call to let the Dragons back at the nest know. Once alerted, a Dragon from the brood will fly to the Drakes' location to handle the threat. It's informed the Dragons' and Drakes' appearances are different from others, depending on the element. For example, fire Dragons and Drakes have red, yellow, or orange-colored scales, while ice Dragons and Drakes have snowy white, icy blue, or gem blue scales. In short, the elements a Dragon and Drake have will deter their colors and looks.

Of course, they're different from each other two. Dragons have six limbs in total: two wings and four legs. As for Drakes, they only have four limbs: four legs. With their sizes, Drakes are often pushed around by Dragons, consistently knocked down in the pecking order. Dragons are bigger than their Drake cousins and can take them on easily if it's just one, but when there are multiple Drakes in a group, a Dragon may get overwhelmed due to the sheer numbers. Dragons are 45 feet in length and 17 feet in height. Moreover, there are reports that some dragons can grow bigger than normal, and often, the most dangerous. Drakes may be smaller than their cousins, but they're just as aggressive and act like a formidable when together. Dragons, on the other hand, tend to fight alone but would sometimes work together if the situation requires it.

Drakes will always be one-third the size of Dragons, even as they fully mature.

Wyvern and Lindwrums
Wyverns are huge winged lizards with four limbs: two back legs and two wings in the front that substitute the front legs. Their bodies tend to have a darker pigmentation, while the webbing of their wings, tails, and fins are lighter. It's an easier way to identify one another. An example is a Wyvern with a darker shade of red scales on the body, while the webbing, fin, and bladed tail have a brighter shade of red. 50 feet in length, 20 feet in height, and weighs a ton. They're mostly seen in elevated places such as mountainous or cliffy areas. Even though they're smaller than Dragons and slightly bigger than Drakes, they're feisty when needed. They're mainly solitary creatures and only interact with each other for territory or mating. It's been reported that a few Wyvern siblings would form together and share territory.

Lindwrums are dragons, well, dragon-like, creatures. They have a scaly body like the others, however, their body is more to that of a serpent. They have a head of a dragon and the front forelimbs or one. They're similar to Drakes as they're wingless and transverse the area by clawing/slithering around the place. Due to this, they're seen in bodies of freshwater, with their snake-like bodies making them fast swimmers and nimble on land. Their colorizations, behaviors, and scales are similar to those of snakes, with examples being bloodred, hypo-bloodred, and amelanistic-bloodred. A fully mature one is around 35 feet long and 10 feet high. Like Wyverns, they're solitary and only interact when needed but are highly aggressive and territorial over their claimed waterways.

Amphiptere and Wryms
Amphipteres are legless dragons with wings that are covered in bright scales and feathers or dull scales and bat-like wings. Amphipteres in the East have brighter scales and feathers like tropical birds, adding to the beauty of the region that they're in. As for the ones in the west, they're more dull colors to camouflage with their surroundings and bat-like wings to help them fly more quietly to avoid startling their prey. Although they're related, Amphipteres in the East are bigger than the ones in the rest, with a length of 45 feet and a height of 10 feet. For the Amphipteres' in the West, their length is 15 feet and 5 feet in height. Amphipteres are more approachable than the others and live together in small numbers, but one should still be wary, as they get aggressive when they're extremely hungry, or their nest is threatened.

Wyrms, Amphipteres without wings, since they lack any limbs, which gives them the most snake-like appearance, even more serpent-like than the Lindwrums. Often labeled as "massive snakes", which is true in some aspects, like the Lindwrums, they behave and slither around like snakes, but unlike Lindwrums, they aren't limited to thriving near waters. Amazingly, Wyrms are also similar to Dragons, in a way, since Wyrms have different subspecies depending on their environment. They have horns and spikes similar to Dragons, differentiating them from their serpent-like cousins, and their scales colors, and texture differ based on their elements. The size of Wyrms can be dissimilar, even with each other, so the exact numbers are uncertain. Wyrms are the smartest ones out there and would rarely attack humans, as they know humans provide less substance, but their fellow Dragons, on the other hand, are the most preferred.

═════════•♔• :Wild Dragons: •♔•═════════

Wild Dragons are much more different than Tamed Dragons behavior-wise. You'll see Dragons in almost everyone in the East and West - an everyday thing. Dragons roam the land, water, and sky. You see Dragons no matter where you travel, making it a spectacular sight for children seeing dragons for the first time. The biggest concern is when you see no Dragons - a sign that something ominous is approaching that humans are still unaware of. Wild Dragons are more prone to sickness, unlike the Tamed Dragons. With one major disease called Dragonblight, which is a flu-like disease that is contagious to other Dragons and fatal to ones with weak immunity, and a mind-altering parasitic mushroom called Berserk Shroom, which can make any Dragons that accidentally consumes it go mad with relentless anger.

Most Wild Dragons aren't highly hostile, as they prefer to keep to themselves, but there are a few exclusions where Wild Dragons would become aggressive and attack humans unprovoked.

A massive black dragon with four red eyes that was over 120 feet tall and 80 feet length-wise. Xairdinth had a collection of horns on its head that grew at different angles due to them overlapping and forming one massive cluster. He had four wings instead of the usual two, with the webbing of his wings badly torn and damaged - surprisingly, he could still fly with them. He actively sought out human cities to destroy them, yet he didn't do it to hunt for food but out of maliciousness. With him being a major threat to every kingdom and the Tamed Dragons, the East formed together to hunt the rampaging dragon. Xairdinith was pursued and killed on the Black Isles, where his body is still there. The skeletal body of Xairdinth is a reminder that not all dragons think the same and should still be treated cautiously.

A massive female Wyrm that's over 250 feet long and weighs a ton with marvelous icy blue eyes. Aghoss had fourteen icicle-like horns in total, with the final fourteenth horn located on the top of her nose. Like other Wyrms, she doesn't have any limbs, only a snake-like body coated in plated scales of silver color with a beautiful blue iridescence. With her lack of wings and limbs, she tunnels underground and uses ravines to transverse around the region, most of the time, her movements undetected above ground. It's said that she's currently alive and living in cave systems that may or may not connect to the other regions of the West. Aghoss was hostile to only her fellow Dragons, ignoring humans entirely, as she prioritized hunting Dragons to eat as she knew humans wouldn't give her barely any nutrients.

Tamed Dragons are Wild Dragons that were either bred and raised by the royal families, eggs that were found in the wild and were hatched then raised by humans or Wild Dragons that slowly integrated themselves into human civilization on their terms. Tamed Dragons are more welcoming than Wild Dragons and are less prone to diseases seen within Wild Dragons as they have medications/treatments to care for them. Tamed Dragons can be of different Types, and they can still retain some of their natural aggressiveness seen in Wild Dragons, like Lindwrums, who are highly aggressive and defensive when it comes to their Riders. Tamed Dragons normally don't venture far away from human towns and cities unless it's for mating season or they're out hunting for food.

Depending on the Type of Dragon, they all have different purposes. Examples are Dragons, which are the hardest to obtain and normally reserved for the royals as they're considered one of the strongest and most versatile Type out there. Not to mention, Dragons bred and raised by royals can sense royal blood, making it near impossible to ride one unless the person has a trace of royalty within them. Another example is the knights of the kingdoms, when they proved themselves worthy or at least high-ranking knights, they may be granted a Drake as mounts for patrol or on battlefields on land. One third and final example is Wyverns, which are granted to scouts, messengers, and assassins as they're one of the few naturally fast flyers.

The Ravenbrands are viewed as 'Neutral Evil', also known as the Opportunist. They're out for themselves, even amongst their team, to boost their goals to become the top race. Wiscardia is located south of the island of Dragon's Rest. The academy isn't just a school, but a medium-sized city filled with shops, taverns, smithys, etc. It's a way for the academy to earn profit through business by trading items in and out of the continent to the other regions on both the East and West sides. Dragon's Rest are neutral grounds, with any feuds between the East and West forbidden within the city limits to keep the peace. Sure, they're scuffles in the streets, depending on who the person supports, but other than that, it's been relatively well controlled.

To start, the academy is separated from the rest of the city, as it's been walled off for security reasons of the students and dragons attending the academy. They're sentry towers to the North, South, East, and West to keep an eye out for trouble approaching the academy. Students are forbidden to roam the walls unless they've been granted permission by the headmaster. The courtyard itself is quite large, big enough to fit the dorms to the east and the dragon stables to the west. The courtyard has a garden in front of the dorms, allowing students to roam outside as long as it's not past curfew. Occasionally, you'll see the academy guards patrolling the area, looking out for students sneaking past curfew and intruders.

The academy is five stories tall, with the first four floors being for the students, depending on the year, and the final fifth floor the living quarters for the professors at the academy. Each floor has different classes depending on the student's year level, with the basic classes being on the first floor and the master classes on the fourth floor. For example, Algebra 1 is located on the first floor, Geometry on the second, Algebra 2 on the third, and Calculus on the fourth. As for the cafeteria, it has two floors, with the ground floor being for the first and second years, and the second floor, for the third and fourth years.

Academy Rules:

I. All students must return to their dorms at 10 PM and remain there until the next morning. If any students are caught sneaking out would be heavily punished by the headmaster. They're guards roaming the grounds day and night, so don't try anything.

II. Pranks that would cause damage to the school grounds or terrorize the staff are absolutely forbidden. If caught doing such disastrous things, you would be unable to ride your dragons for a certain period.

III. Fights that aren't supervised by the staff or higher grade levels are debarred. If you catch wind of a fight that's about to occur and it's being unwatched, report it immediately to your nearest staff member.

IV. Dorm room parties are forbidden unless the headmaster gives the approval for one to begin. Any parties not approved by the headmaster are to be shut down immediately and those that started it are to be suspended.

The building is four stories, with the halls outside the bedrooms are the same for all four levels; considering that party-goers exist in all grade levels. The dorm rooms are like mini apartments: small living room area, kitchen, and dining room all in one spacing. At the back of the rooms are the bedrooms and shared bathroom. There are doors in the back of the room which lead to two separate living quarters. The rooms are small, only containing a bed, dresser, and desk for the students. The shared bathroom is in between the two rooms, with doors on the left and right side of the bathroom that connect the separated rooms. Basically, a jack and jlll bathroom.

Capture the Flag/Gathering Flags

Capture the flag is usually played with two teams of players, each team attempts to infiltrate their opponent's base to take the flag and return it to their own base to score a point while also defending their own flag. Those defending the flags are called 'Defenders', while those trying to take the flags are called 'Attackers'. Defenders' jobs is to keep the attackers away from the flags the best they can, while the Attackers are tasked with stealing the flag from the opponents. If a flag gets knocked out of a rider's hands, it would magically teleport back to its point in the enemy base. You can only score a point if your flag is still at the base. If not, you need to retrieve your flag from the opposing team. Once a flag is brought to the base, the team that captured it will get a point and mark that round as theirs. everyone would have to return to their original positions so a new round could begin. Once everyone has returned, the new round may start.

Gathering Flags is when opposing teams face each other to capture the most flags. The countdown is set to 20 minutes, with the teams needing to be the ones to retrieve the most flags and bring them to their base. The flags are scattered around the flying field, waiting to be found the any riders and their dragons flying in the area. Some are in the open, while others are hidden and require sharp eyes to notice. There are no roles for this game, as anyone has the choice, which is to steal the flags from the opposing team or defend the flags they currently have at base. Stealing flags from the bases is allowed and the rider can hold as many flags as they can hold in their hands. Keep in mind, that if you do such a thing, you will probably be the most targeted rider on the field, as the other team would try to steal the flags from you. When the countdown counts to 0, the team with the most flags held within their base would win the game.

Starting with the head, Ciaran has a diamond-shaped structure. That means her features are considered sharp and "dramatic". The shape of her face is longer than it is wide, meaning most of her features are a bit narrowed. Her cheekbones are the widest part of her face, with high and dramatic characteristics. She has a definite at the eye line, making her eyes appear shorter than normal. Ciaran has a bit of a gaunt in her cheeks but at a healthy and barely noticeable level. Her forehead and jaw are at similar width - being in perfect proportions with each other. Ciaran's chin is pointed, or in other words, tapered, with a long, narrow jawline. Upon closer inspection, she has a small dimple in the center of her chin. Ciaran has a narrow hairline and strong angular lines. On her face are two beauty marks, one underneath her left eye and the second underneath the right corner of her lips.

Ciaran's eyes are almond-shaped, meaning they're wider than tall, making them look elongated. The outer corners of her eyes lift upwards and outwards with a well-defined crease. His irises touch the top and bottom of the eyelid, filling them completely. His eyes taper to a point at the inner and outer corners, with the size of her lids relatively small. The color of her eyes is a rich, hypnotizing copper pigment. A warm, rich, and inviting reddish-brown hue. When light hits her eyes, it creates an illusion that her eyes are glowing. The shape of her brows is a medium arch, which is flatter and a little higher than a soft arch, but not too high. Her brows are more curved, creating a sharper look. On the corner of her left brow are two notches that were caused by an accident many years ago.

Ciaran's height is 6'2", or 187.96 cm, making her taller than the average female. She has a rectangular body shape with an ectomorph figure, which is considered athletic-looking sometimes. There's little to no waist definition, meaning she is slightly slimmer than her hips, but not by much. The fat on her body is distributed evenly throughout, giving her low body fat and fast metabolism. It makes it harder to build muscles, but she is quite talented in endurance-based activities. With her body shape, Ciaran's legs and arms are longer than most people's. As for her muscle mass, it's 20%, which means he has muscles, but it's barely noticeable. The texture of her skin is smooth with a healthy, radiant sheen with beauty spots scattered across her body. As for the skin color, it's fair with a cool undertone.

Her hair is her pride and joy. Ciaran's hair is 20 inches long, reaching to her waist. Her hairstyle is 1a, meaning that her hair is 100% straight. There's no hint of curl or wave pattern - flat as a sheet of paper. Her hair is extremely thin and extremely fine, therefore, her hair easily falls out/shreds. The texture of her hair is smooth, soft, and shiny, like actual silk, albeit in different colors. Ciaran's hair is easy to comb through, yet expect her hair to stick to your hand. The style of her hair changes depending on what she's doing or the mood she's in. Usually, she keeps her hair loose, but when she's working or in a state of relaxation, she ties it up. Personality:
This woman is more reclusive than an actual snow leopard. Most of the time, she's at home and keeping to herself - avoiding interactions unless she needs to go shopping or at work. It's why Ciaran works only night shifts, as fewer people are out and about. Still, she's questioning herself on why she picked a bar, known to be rowdy at night, as her new occupation. Well, she needed the money, she couldn't complain too much, as being a bartender pays extremely well and she gets free drinks now and then. She doesn't want to admit it, but at home, she feels secure and at peace with herself. Her home is her sanctuary - her sacred and safe place. It's why she gets upset and uncomfortable if people randomly show up at her home or enter her safe places without permission. To her, it's intrusive and ruining the comforting vibe of the place. Rarely, she would invite someone over, but when she does, it's a sign that she fully trusts the person.

However, her sense of self-doubt comes rearing its ugly head from time to time. She no longer needs to hide what he is from the public's scrutiny - to allow herself to let loose without the fear of judgment. It's uncertain why she feels this way, but it's probably due to his past experiences. She struggles with building relationships, platonic and romantic with anyone else out of fear. After all, being a bastard child is considered, well, unfavorable by traditional noble perspectives. Ciaran is struggling with internal hatred due to her heritage. Hating her bastard child origins, as she believes it's why she was met with "misfortune" throughout his life. Ciaran knows she won't truly fit in with most noble children, so she's training herself to feel comfortable with loneliness, even though it's hurting more than it's doing good.

Returning to his relationship issues, Ciaran has trouble forming bonds with people, as she keeps pushing others away. She's not doing it to be rude - it's a defensive tactic to keep herself and others from getting hurt. If anything bad happened in the relationship, she would immediately think it was her fault (for whatever reason) and then seclude herself to prevent further "issues". This made her socially awkward - unsure how and when to react to people or situations. She will try to be supportive, yet she doesn't want to screw anything over so she would be hesitant to touch (hug/hold hands/etc.) with someone. One of her fears is that he accidentally misreads the situation and is placed in an awkward situation in public. Even though she's an isolator, some of her still crave interactions.

However, once this woman loves (if possible) she will love the person hard. She will put her entire heart on his sleeve just for that person - doing whatever she can to keep her partner(s) happy to the best of her ability. She has many different ways to show the person that she loves affection. Gift giving, words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service. As for physical touch, it's something she would work on for the sake of her partner, even if it makes her uncomfortable. Ciaran would act basically like a puppy: following around her significant other. In other words, be glued onto them. Don't worry about her cheating - she doesn't have the heart to do so. That makes it all troublesome if she gets too attached and things don't work out in the relationship. As much as this woman loves hard, the breakup would be terrible for her.

Even though she's awkward around humans, Ciaran is a big softie with animals. Cats? Yes. Dogs? Damn straight. Snakes? Yup! Just not cockroaches and some species of spiders. She loves animals, strays to owned ones, and is respectful towards them. Sadly, the animals would be offputting from her presence, and either cower or act defensive around her, so all she could do was admire them from afar. To make up for this, much to her embarrassment, she's a huge sucker for animal plushies. She uses the stuffed animals as replacements for actual living ones. From big to small. She has a few in her room while the rest she put in a different room. Ciaran does a name for her collective plushes, but it's too long of a list to go over. Many would dream about being rich or famous, but her dream is to find a pet that would love her despite what she is.

Appearance:
Sylvester stands at a looming 6'7 with a well toned-muscular built body, with the muscles along his upper arms and torso being well defined. They're easy to see through many of his outfits, giving him a well formed, powerful and rather intimidating appearance.

Many would describe his body as that of Adonis himself, with his chiselled abs and muscle definition, all the way to the sharp V line at his hips. His skin is a pale ivory with some areas appearing a bit more on the white scale of colours all thanks to his countless hours and time spent indoors to shelter away from the harsh cold of his home.
His face is slightly rounded, with a sharp jawline and well defined cheekbones.

The hair on his eyebrows is a dark gray, close to black making them stand out compared to the lightness of his hair. He often trims and waxes them to retain the smooth and elegant shape they have taken on, leaving his resting face as a serious-energy radiating look.

His hair is a silvery white, platinum blonde, which is parted off towards the left side of his head. The locks are semi long in some places such as the back towards his neck, and take on a wavey, slightly curly form. The iris's of his eyes are a blue-ish silver, appearing mostly silver in normal to dim lighting. In direct sunlight or heavy light however, his eyes will give off a pale blue sheen similar to that of frost or ice. He has long luscious black eyelashes which curve ever so slightly. They're thick and often draw a lot of attention to his eyes with the stark contrast between the darkness of his lashness and the brightness of his eyes.

The skin on his lips is a pale beige colour with a hint of pinkness through them, giving them a warm and inviting look, the ridge of his top lip has a fairly noticeable shape similar to a bow, adding more angles and curves to the shit eating grin he so often wears. He has a few minor scars along his body, such as his shoulders, left waist and the largest being one that adorns his right shoulder blade, coming to a stop at about halfway down his spine.

His hands are rough, incredibly calloused from the hours he spends training with his blade, as well as the hard work and labour he does to help out where he can without getting into trouble.
Sylvester's outfit can be described as heavy yet also very warm looking. He wears a thick black tunic, and almost always wears the cloak that was gifted to him by his father. It is made of a heavy black fabric to match many of the other shirts he chooses to wear, with a hefty amount of white rabbit fur which lines the tops of the cloak and it's hood. He very rarely wears the hood up, so the fur adds an extra few inches to the bulkiness of his shoulders where it lays draped over. He wears heavy boots that have been designed more for traversing snowy terrain, which are black in colour with matching white fur trims. He often has equipped his holster for his blade on the belt he wears, usually concealing the weapon partially beneath his heavy cloak.

Personality:
Sylvester can often come across as being incredibly blunt and rude, never really thinking twice about what he has to say before saying it. His arrogance and pride are a sight to behold, as he never steps down from a challenge no matter how idiotic or childish it may seem. He has a bit of a temper at times, but it's often shrouded beneath his cocky and sarcastic attitude, deflecting many topics with his mockery towards others.

Despite how he can come across, there's no denying Sylvester is a hard worker. Spending many hours training by himself with his blade and also helping the people of his castle. He often does so in ways that will not get him in trouble, as he does not openly want to be seen as gentle or kind hearted (or to be seen helping "commonfolk"). But he is and he does. There is no denying the affection Sylvester holds for some of those who stand around him, yet his ways of displaying such affections are rather... Questionable.

He's hopeless when it comes to complimenting others or even saying a single positive thing about them and even more hopeless when showing his worry or concern.
He often falls to anger, lashing out at people and pointing out their mistakes in rather harsh and aggressive manners to hide how worried or concerned he is/was, but deep down is a side he chooses to keep hidden. A side where he wishes he could congratulate those around him. A side that wishes to bring people closer to him, to enjoy friendly banter and comforting gestures. A side he denies himself, out of belief he must stay a strong leader. Someone who rarely shows such sappy emotions and gestures. Someone who isn't soft.

Sylvester isn't the most trusting when it comes to newcomers. He despises having to "play nice" and act civil with many. He tends to ignore those he finds beneath him or unworthy of his time, giving them the cold shoulder and the sharpest of glares whenever one should persist in trying to talk to him.

Most choose to steer clear of this ill tempered bastard, preferring to find company elsewhere. He's often found with a resting grump face, brooding wherever he goes like there's some dark cloud always looming over him. For others, it's not worth trying to start conversation with him, not when the most you will get is either a sharp earful of rather rude comments or a chilling silence. Some even go as far as to say his personality is a direct comparison to the harsh coldness of his homeland. Not very many are aware of his father and his own behaviour towards Sylvester as their interactions are more or less behind closed doors.

He hates acting sensitive. Opening up. Being vulnerable. He despises the very idea of it all. If someone is unable to shoulder their own burdens, then they are seen as weak. Sylvester is anything but weak. His temperament and beliefs make him a labyrinth to navigate, to understand even the slightest, with every three steps forwards almost always causing you to take another five back.

“Me? Oh… oh. Oh, no, sorry honey. I'm not a planner.”

Appearance
Elegant but sharp and jagged, Kessowyn is a lean, graceful individual even if she's very hard to make out. This is not because her shape is ambiguous, but because her hide is almost always set on pure fire, so engulfed you can never make out her scales underneath the thick wall of flames. The fire she surrounds herself in is bright, mostly a palish yellow with orange and red dancing around the edges. While kind of thick, it's still easy to make out her form and each of the spines that run down her back, as well as the spiral of the two horns on the sides of her head. Her build is more lithe than bulky, made for speed and dexterity so she can make turns on a dime and weave between tight spaces with the grace of a trained ballerina. If she was hit with a good strike, there's no doubt the dragoness would feel it tomorrow with how fragile she looks. Cass does make up for it by surrounding herself in fire, however, almost like a defense mechanism. The oils she secretes from between her scales allows her to light herself up by the flames of her own mouth, and stay that way for a very long time. The dragoness has back spines that start where her shoulders are, then lead all the way to the base of her tail, becoming taller and thicker as they move along but no thicker than the width of a human's arm, being flat rather than cone shaped but sharp nonetheless. Her tail is thin and whip-like, with a cluster of spines at the tip creating a spear shape, and her wingspan is a little longer than the length of her body from snout to tail tip. Cass is quite proud of her wings, actually. When not lit on fire, you can see her scales are a brilliant ruby red, slowly transitioning to all black towards the tips of her wings and tail as her scales get overcome by what looks like a coal color. 6 The webbing of her wings are a light tan, kind of peach looking color with slightly darker swirls dancing across the membrane in a beautiful mosaic looking pattern, symmetrical on each side. Her right head horn is broken in half, and a few scars litter her back legs and neck, no doubt from a battle she has fought. Kessowyn has a long, thin but elegant snout and soft eyes which are a deep blue color, almost black except for when it reflects off the sunlight. Her spines and head horns are a charcoal black, though tinted the same blue color as her eyes. Gold string winds around her intact horn and leaves one end draping down a few feet from the tip, letting a small four pointed star charm hang from the end. Cass is about 50 feet long, but only 17 feet in height and a little underweight for a wyvern.

Personality
Dramatic - Kessowyn is the most melodramatic princess you will ever meet. Every little issue, from being hungry to a broken talon, will be loudly announced by this dragoness in a flurry of fancy, eloquent language. She can make the simplest issue sound like the world is cracking open at the seams and as such, she can get quite annoying VERY fast by someone who values their peace and quiet. Don't worry, she'll shut up … eventually. This dragoness can, as shocking as it is, pick up when is not the best time to make her problem your problem, and instead sit in quiet contemplation as she attempts to stare into your soul. Knowing or unknowingly. Trust me, half the time Kessowyn has zero idea she's been trying to soul read you for the past 10 minutes and it's starting to make you uncomfortable by how hard she's staring
Romantic Daydreamer - While it may not appear so at first, the dragoness is quite a romantic at heart. She yearns for a cute, picture perfect relationship between her and another dragon regardless of gender and the cuddles involved. Kessowyn is always the first to swoon at seeing a couple of some way, shape, or form walk down the hallways or develop, and tends to tease one partner or the other in some cheeky fashion. Lovingly, of course. She has even given a nudge or two before to help a relationship along. When Kessowyn is looking out a window looking particularly gloomy, expect her to vent about her current loneliness at being single, and worries she will remain so until she's old and wrinkled. Don't get her wrong, she enjoys the company friends and companions provide, but to her nothing can top the closeness of a romantic relationship between two creatures. If you're a friend of Kessowyn and have a significant other, expect her to point out how lucky you are at least once in every conversation.
Unmotivated - Kessowyn is quite… lazy and uninspired. Often you can catch her not lifting a single talon towards effort, regardless of how hard others are working. The most support you will see from this lady is a whooping, hollering cheer full of energy but not much else. It would take a lot to get her butt moving into action, most notably a life or death situation. But hey, when's that ever gonna happen? Another fantastic motivator is taking a jab at her single status. Don't worry, Kessowyn won't stay mad… for long. From flying, to reorganizing objects, to picking berries, to dances and recreational activities, little gets her up and moving around with vigor. If she does come to help, she will half ass it, regardless of how others may view her later because of it. She's not half asleep, but isn't a ball of bouncing energy either.
Manipulative - Having developed a bad habit of taking digs at others and slyly hinting at something she knows that they don't, it's hard to say that she isn't a little manipulative. Intentionally or not, she knows how to get others moving or doing measly tasks so she doesn't have to do it. Gathering Intel and exploiting it against someone is her number one tactic, but she is quick to give up when she figures it's not working and will just try and deal with it somehow, even if she gives you quite the sour look
Curious - Curiosity is probably the one thing that gets her up and moving about, pestering someone and quite hungry for unseen information. If you manage to catch Cass’ interest, don't get unsettled if she stares at you as you enter the room, or runs up to you full of energy asking a million questions. Subtly is the exact opposite of who she is when you manage to rile her. It's gonna be a hella long brain picking session before she leaves you alone, this dragoness almost picking others apart piece by piece to satiate her own undying curiosity. If it's a concept she doesn't understand, the closest being to her is the victim of her curiosity. That said, it also tends to make her quite nosy. Kass will try and budge her way into personal business if she thinks you're acting strange, always wants to be in the know, and is relentless is the torrent of questions she throws at you. Be prepared to deal with her antics, because she can find almost anything interesting if she thinks long enough about something. Even the ordinary.
Kind - Kessowyn is quite kind, even if she is pushy. She makes it her duty to always check in on others if she thinks they're having a hard time, doesn't mind being a pillow, sharing her food, others hanging coats over her back for a second while they do something else, you name it! She's the dragon who likes to hang back so she can keep an eye on everyone, and be the first to act if she thinks something is wrong. Cass tries not to be very rash in her judgment, and is also quite forgiving of others. Mistakes can be mended, wrong can turn to right, really she clings to the belief anyone can change if they want to change.
Impatient - Kessowyn is not a very patient individual. If she finds she can't sway someone else to do her work, or her questioning is getting nowhere, she will either give up quickly or try someone else instead. No changing tactics. This makes the dragoness somewhat bearable, as all you need to do to get her off your back is just ignore her long enough, or try and keep your temper. Maybe both. There are very rare instances where she will persist even if it isn't working, and change tactics to see if that works instead.
Observant - Cass is very observant. She can pick up the tiniest details from the land or shifts in face features from simply watching someone long enough. This also goes for any changes that might occur overnight. Missing blanket, new flowers, a different vase than was there last night, even a misplaced toy from an array of other stuffies on a shelf. Leave it to her to point out the details! Though don't expect too much. Most of the things she keeps note of are rather unremarkable, and Cass has a lot of trouble catching things when both she and the land are on the move. Not that she isn't vocal about it. The dragoness will sometimes suddenly shout or point out a detail she finds if she's bored enough, or in passing conversation
Temperamental - Her fuse is rather short if you can find which button to press.
Motherly - Cass is especially protective of younger dragons and humans.
Strong willed - Don't take her giving up easy and lazy nature as Cass being a pushover. When she doesn't want to do something, or sets her mind to completing a task, you bet she will do whatever it takes to accomplish either. Even if she has to play a little dirty. Take it as being stubborn or a reckless idiot, but you can rely on Kessowyn to go through an army or raging tide if it means seeing something to the end.
Mischievous - Kessowyn is not above pranks or gaslighting others for a little bit of fun. She's the first to endorse the stupidest pranks and ideas someone else proposes, and is quick to jump on the bandwagon of annoying the crap out of someone else. All in good fun, of course. She rather dislikes blood and injuring others for something as unnecessary as good fun and a laugh, and will keep her nose firmly out of it if she feels it might end up very poorly.
Particular - Cass is picky. With where she sleeps, eats, and even who her rider is. Not everyone can tolerate her, after all, and she can't tolerate every person either no matter how hard one may try. Her bedding has to be a certain way or have a certain softness else she has trouble sleeping or will outright refuse to sleep there. She won't eat any meat too gamey, and prefers to char it herself rather than let someone else cook for her. With her partner too, she is quite particular. It's hard to please her, so it's best to not shoot for that specifically when trying to give Cass a gift or share a meal. She will figure it out for herself, even if she does give a few complaints.

“One would do good to have some eloquence!!!”

Abilities
Ablaze - Can set her entire body ablaze, making it look like she is a literal being made of fire. This is more of a self defense mechanism than an offensive one because of her fragile frame. While she can't set other objects on fire, Cass sure can living things like trees, humans, and other dragons. It makes it hard to hurt her, but limits the amount of physical contact she can engage in. Kessowyn can control if certain areas or segments of her body become fire too. Wherever she travels, a small trail of ash and embers trail behind her. This ability can continue on indefinitely because of her scales natural oil, however dousing her with quite a bit of water can put out the fire rather quickly and hey, who doesn't miss a bit of physical affection?
Smog - Can breathe a thick smoke into the air, effectively creating a smokescreen. Only problem is, shehas as much visibility as anyone else. That is, absolutely nothing. Sometimes it's gotten so thick she can't even see her own claws in front of her face
??? - Can teleport between active sources of fire, but only those that she creates. Cass can't teleport into a torch a different person lit, or a random fireplace somewhere in a castle, but she can take whoever is touching her with her on the little adventure, and takes great enjoyment from seeing their disorientation
Emberborn - Tiny little birds made of fire follow her around, like familiars. While they can't do physical damage like burn someone, they can still evoke phantom pains that will leave someone reeling. They have a mind of their own, though more often than not will listen to her if she commands them to attack or fly somewhere in particular. Cass is limited to only 3 at a time, and they can easily be evaporated in rain or seawater
Fire Breath - Like a traditional dragon, Cass is able to breathe fire. However she has to be warm enough to do so. If she's too cold, then her body can't generate enough warmth to create sparks. Her fire is a bright orange color, but can turn a magenta at the edges if in incredibly warm areas, able to burn through the toughest metals.

Strengths & Weaknesses
+ Dextrous and quick - Though she may not appear to be much, trust that Cass can weave through some pretty tight spots, both figuratively and literally. From diving between canyon crevices, to sweet talking her way out of trouble, she is quite the master of the art of the weasel.
+ Observant - Again, she can pick up on very slight details easily, from just moved objects to the quirk of someone's facial features that give a tell to how they really feel, even if they try and hide it
+ Persistent, doesn't let up - Cass is quite persistent on matters she is quite passionate about. If you really need something done, or want to be with someone who will see battles and tasks up until the end even at deaths door, look no further than Kessowyn
- Unmotivated - Then again, it's kind of hard to get her motivated about... Well, anything. Not motivated by prey, or praise, or even rewards, it seems the only thing that can really get her moving is either threatening her leisure time or somehow getting her interest about whatever it is you're doing. She would fly to the ends of the earth to figure out an interesting mystery or investigate the cause of a weird phenomenon if you were to say this at passing
- Picky of almost everything - You name it. Food, where she sleeps, who she hangs out with, how she talks, Cass is a VERY hard dragon to please. Ever. It's better if you don't try, else you'll run yourself bone legged trying to earn her stamp of 100% approval. This is also usually why she prefers to do things by herself. Who better to know exactly what she likes than herself?
- Fragile - Kessowyn was not built to take hits. Nope, rather a dragon even a foot taller than her could easily break her like a toothpick. Her scrawny and lithe build leave her rather defenseless when it comes to a head to head confrontation, so this dragoness prefers to avoid doing such things in favor of talking it out. Or avoiding the conflict altogether. Of course, you can't always avoid a fight. While she can't take hits, Cass can sure pack a huge punch. If she manages to hit them in the first place, that is. In worse cases, she will simply run
