Houdo & Star | male & female| lion| king & hunter _____ Early morning sun shined in through the cave of the king den as Houdo was still asleep as normal, Star quietly made her way up the entrance and slowly over to him before pouncing and said, “wake up brother” Houdo groans and said “sister this is not funny I can stay an asleep however long I want to “, Star rolls her eyes before saying “ yeah but then you will miss mother and father who is leaving right now “ Houdo got up how could he forget about that as he heads out followed by his sister, he blink the brightness away and smiles as he saw his mother and father waiting for him to come, Houdo said “ I am sorry mom and dad must not have slept good “ Star rolls her eyes again before their father spoke “ son take care of this pack and daughter take care of your brother “ star spats “ yes dad it would be a full time job keeping him wake and things like that but I'll watch over him”. Houdo didn’t really care much about his sister watching over him since he was king, he still can boss her around, Houdo says his goodbye to his parents before heading back to his den and lays down tired and wanting more sleep than he possible but before he could sleep again his sister Star came in and said “ oh no it is morning and you are going hunting with me since you do much of nothing just lay in the den and sleep” Houdo said “ what if I want to just sleep and not worry about anything”, Star huffs and said “ just because your king doesn’t mean you can lay there you have to make sure no one came into your land” Houdo sighed and got back up before his sister hops up and down and ran out the door like a cub Houdo said “ hold up there don’t be to rush forward” Star said “ why not you finally come hunting with me” Houdo rolls his eyes and said “ you made me come with you don’t you have anything to say about yourself” Star turns and said “ nope since I can boss you around so no I have nothing to say” as she keeps going and houdo follows and said “ what would you like to hunt” Star said “ I don’t know zebra” Houdo nods and said “ okay lets go to the most active spot we know” before they started trotting there, Houdo always in the back of her and she was always the leader even through Houdo was letting her boss him around it always be the case (i hope this is okay) |

Amara watched as the former queen and king left, turning her attention to the current king and his sister. She shook her head a bit as she heard their sibling like squables, wishing she had kin to do so with. Amara stretched out before she glanced around, seeing quite a few lionesses have their eyes on Houdo. She assumed they would only want to be with him to be queen, which somewhat annoyed Amara, but it wasnt her place to say anything. She wasnt one of the best hunters in the pride, but she was far from being the worst. It usually kept her from being seen by the royals, which Amara whished she could be. She had liked Houdo since they were cubs, but she hadnt ever been able to go out of her way to be near him when he was surrounded by lionesses. With a shake of her head, Amara left the camp to see what she could find. Amara wouldnt admit it, but she rather hated hunting alone, but since most of the lionesses avoided her, it was hard to even bother hunting with others. Usually Amara found injured prey that she could take down that would feed a few of the lionesess at least, and Houdo. Her eyes scanned the horizon, and she found a zebra that looked rather hurt. It would feed quite a few and she smiled. As she stalked forward, she was sure to stick downwind, but before she could attempt anything, she heard a roar in the distance, just off the territory that caused the herd to charge right at her. Amara turned to run before she found a rock to try and hide behind, though it was nearly too late for her to get there as a zebra ended up kicking her shoulder as it ran past her. Amara let out a hiss as she crouched down, waiting for the herd to pass. |

As they came to the location of the Zebras seeing that they took off running for no reason, Star took off trotting again to see if she can catch up before Houdo when down to see if there was anyone hurt or any Zebras hurt at all as he moves slowly looking around making sure to smell that way, he didn’t get attack from other loners or hyenas cause they can hurt a male lion like him all by himself, Houdo looks around before spotting Amara and walks over to her slowly before saying “ are you okay” while star was running around after the Zebra wondering where Houdo was and where the other lioness was hanging out at. Star ran after a baby zebra that was away from the herd and she took it down without any help and carries it towards where she last saw Houdo before crying out she almost sounded like a female in heat but mostly like a cry baby as she looks around for him to show up Houdo was no other then her brother and she was there to protect him at all cost even if it means fight the lioness off from everyone, star looks around before making a growlingnsound she wonders where Houdo when and it was making her mad that he didn't show up at all. Meanwhile Houdo was making sure his lioness was okay even Amara his best friend from cub years and he had a crush on her then just being best friends. Houdo wanted to help her back to the den at least so he decided to ask " anything I can help you with " as he looks at her before smelling around before laying down he knew how dangerous it was out in a place like this place |

Amara had been crouched low, waiting for the herd to pass and finally looked around. She didn't see any other zebras and had been ready to get up when she saw Houdo walking over. She lowered her ears, wondering if she was about to be in trouble for the stamped, even when it hadn't been her fault. Instead of yelling at her, she heard him as if she was alright which surprised her a bit. "One kicked me as it passed, but I don't think anything is broken" she replied. Slowly Amara stood up, wincing at the pain in her shoulder. Not broken, but she knew it would take time to heal. "There was a roar from just on the other side of the border. I think that's what spooked the herd" she told Houdo. She hoped he wouldn't go after whoever made the roar as it could be a small group of nomads, and that wouldn't help if Houdo was attacked. ~~~~ Aslan watched from the distance, seeing how only one male arrived he smirked. Usually he found fighting one male rather easy. Two was much more difficult, though not impossible. He never bothered to attempt it. Usually he fought the males enough to take a few females, though they would get bored of him and leave which always annoyed him. *I will make sure they don't leave this time* he thought as he hid in a few bushes. |

Houdo hiss and said " another animal on my land " before he moves around and looks around before saying " you and the other lioness should go back to the dens it not safe out here if there is another animal maybe another lion " as he looks around before heading towards the spot she talked about slowly through that way he can smell if there was danger he really didn't care for his own safety only his lioness, Hondo growls before looking back at the females and walks back to Amara to make sure she was really all right, Hondo through * what happens if I did get attack I won't let anyone take my females without killing me * as he shakes his mane and growls, before he looks at see his sister coming down from the hill as she was yelling " Hondo where have you been i been looking for you " Hondo rolls his eyes and said " I was just looking around and seeing is Amara was okay " as he heard her growl he really didn't understand why she needed to be so protective over him. Hondo looks around before looking at his sister before shaking his head and look back at Amara and said " are you about to walk back " as he looks around keeping a eye out in case a lion does come out to attack and since his sister was around he was a lot protective. Star looks at them before noticing Hondo being tense then normal |

Amara nodded and was about to follow the others back before she stumbled slightly, grumbling to herself. She noticed Houdo being tense and tried to how show that she could barely put weight on her paws. Amara glanced between the siblings before she spoke. "I might be a little slow, but I can make it back" she told him. She knew she messed up the hunt as well. "I'm sorry I wasnt able to get anything" she added before she faced the direction of the camp and started making her way there. She made sure to keep as much weight off her shoulder as possible, though it wasnt easy. Here and there she had a few stumbles, but for the most part, she managed to keep herself from falling. She wouldnt admit that she felt embarassed that Houdo basically had to come to her resue, though she did like being close to him again. ~~~ Aslan watched from the bush and narrowed his eyes. He saw a female seeming to scold the male he saw, and wondered to himself if that was the queen of the pride. When he saw there was an injured female, he smirked. She would be his first victim in this pride. He would just need to find a way to get her alone now. With her injury, she wouldnt be able to as easily walk away from him. |
