My PMs are always open if you need advice. There are a lot of things that people breed for, so lots of things that can make a wolf "good" :)

Sad news :(
Stella came into heat today, which means she wasn't pregnant, and I most likely missed her last heat.
I took her to get bred, though, and she and the buck took care of business real quick, so that makes me happy. :) Hopefully it'll take this time ^^

:(
Thats not good, especially because it will be another three months longer before the blessed event happens for her.
But, it will mean more blogging then, yay.

Hurry,
I had kinda figured that, but I'm glad somebody else agrees. ^^
I just don't know why they seem to be trying to dig that one hole to China XD

Stormfast,
Luckily only another 2 months, but at least I get to show the kids separately. The fair has two different shows for older kids (born February / March) and younger kids (born April / May). Therefore, if we have 2 or more doelings (female kids) born between Destiny and Catalina, we will at least be able to manage showing them a little better, since Stella's will be separately shown ^^

I just create this because... I had the power. I should never be given the power to create this stuff. Boop

I will be sure to get some pictures when the event arrives. I'll probably have a hard time controlling myself rather than taking 2000 XD
Could we get some photos from fares if you are allowed to take some :D ? And if you have time, I believe that those gatherings might be overhelming and busy all day long so it's understandable :)

To me, the coat of Destiny from the side view looks very patchy (like there are parts of her fur missing), is this normal?

They lick themselves a lot, and I can see some patches where her grooming / scratching has simply misplaced fur.
There are a few spots where the fur looks a bit thinner, though. This is due to the fact that she hasn't been eating enough mineral to keep up with the demands of growing kids in addition to keeping her coat at 100%. I'm working on finding a way to get them to eat more mineral, and I might have to just switch to a different brand to see if they like that more. I have recently found that they also appreciate me mixing a bit of water into their mineral, which is strange :')
(Her curly fur can also make it look a little more patchier than it actually is)
~~
Hopefully I'll figure it out soon, but it's nothing that I'm too worried about at the moment, especially since pregnancy can take a bit of a toll.
Edit: You can also notice some of the thin fur along Catalina's Hips, shoulders, and withers, in addition to the top of Stella's neck. Stella's always been one to skimp on on minerals, though, so I don't know if I can fix this issue with her.

I think it's visible how two goats are wider then the third now ^^
I wanted to ask before, but I forgot so I'm asking now X) if it's not too invasive may we know how much time per day you spend tending to goats? What is your schedule witht them-like wen they get first meal and when you usher them in their barn or sleeping space if they have one (cause I think animals don't really mind sleeping outside since that's what non-domesticated goats do)? Do they eat before you? How much do you smell after hanging out with them? How many times a day you shower?
Okay that was colorful XD uhhh, I just wish to know how much of responsibility they are. I know how to tend to dogs and cats, I think cats are easier since they don't require as much attention/playtime as dogs nor you have to take them outside for a walk 3 times a day like dogs. Thou cats can be picky eaters, pro sleepers and queens/kings that order around XD so it depends I guess. Fish are relatively easy once you set up aquarium.

It really depends, I guess. Bucks are more trouble than does (a reason I don't have one, lol), and larger goats are more trouble than smaller goats. Having a herd of 3+ also makes them easier to manage because you don't have to find more ways to entertain them, since they can entertain / give company to each other.
~~
1) I feed them from 7 am - 9, and I feed them before I feed myself. :')
2) I'm supposed to be clipping their hooves every few months (been slacking), which I will be doing sometime this month.
3) I take them on walks almost every other day, spending 30 - 60 minutes taking them around my yard to browse, which also helps to give them a diverse diet, which more closely simulates how they would be eating in the wild
4) Not including for shows, I bathe them twice a year, which isn't really necessary, but sometimes I get tired of their scraggly appearance
5) Once they start producing milk, I'll have to milk them twice a day when they don't have kids, and I can choose to milk them once a day when they have kids
6) I clean their pen every weekend (or try to). If I do it regularly, this takes about 30 minutes. If I fall behind (this happened last weekend), I end up spending a few hours out there.
~~~
I don't usually smell much after spending time with them, except for right after they've been bred, and it's nearly enough to knock someone out. I just wash them after they were with the buck, so I don't have to deal with that for too long. By themselves, they aren't very dirty or smelly, it's just being with a buck that ever makes them smelly to be around.
They have a shed in their pen, but they don't often use it. I'm going to fill the shed with kiln shavings and hay when their due date arrives, since they tend to like a bit of privacy, and it will keep them and the kids relatively clean.
