Ace walks over to the other man and says, "Hello! Nice day, isn`t it?" He hopes the other doesn`t find it creepy, the way he just walks up to a complete stranger and talks like they`ve known each other for ages, but Ace is just like that.

Briggan hid the confusion in his eyes and body language, although some may have slipped past. He didn't expect to be greeted like this, actually, he believes he never had a stranger act like they have known each other.

"Uh, yes, it's a nice day." He responded.

Ace disregards the tiny bit of confusion as surprise, and smiles. "Yeah. Well, we`d better get home. See you around, I suppose," Ace says, looking at Noah.

"Oh, by the way, my name is Ace," Ace adds for literally no reason.

Briggan inclined his head, even though they probably wouldn't cross paths again it would be polite to tell him his name too, right?

"Okay. My name is Briggan." He said, before kicking himself, it might have been better to use a fake name, he was a prince and his name would come up sooner or later.

Nice to meet you, Briggen," Ace smiles. Noah waves to Briggan, and the two begin their walk back home. The sun is slowly slipping down the sky as Ace hurries Noah inside their house.

Ace breaks the loaf of bread in half, and hands Noah his half.

Briggan looked up at the sky, dang, looks like he lost track of time. He'll get in trouble for this, he knows it. Usually he is good at getting back on time, but not this time it seems. He promptly turned around sharply and began speed-walking back.

Noah nibbles on his bread, savouring it. Ace does the same, and after they're finished, they walk into the other room of the hut and the brothers settle down on their sleeping mats.

Briggan sneaked in using a secret passage, really just some things piled in a stack filling up a hole that he could crawl under. And kept to the shadows, climbing up to his room and slipping in through the window.

Noah is snoring lightly soon enough, and Ace is left in the dark, thinking about the day. He mentally checks how much food they can buy the next day, and then drifts into a shallow sleep, moolight flooding in through the windows.

Briggan had somehow managed to avoid being caught, his family must have had a busy day if they hadn't bothered to check his room lately. He changed quickly and fell asleep the moment his head hit the bed.
