Once a month, Giles chooses someone to do a 'game' with. The 'game' varies but really it's abuse. Um. Some people are more likely to be chosen than others. People like Kody or Vida aren't very likely to be chosen. People like Jusepe or Garvin are. You can probably figure it out from them who is and isn't. (Zakai is probably on the same level as Vida simply because of Vida)

Though, I will say (probably not for games because I'm guessing those are more well known?), Z is very... uh... gullible, so it's actually pretty unlikely they'd say anything to anybody unless an okay was given for them to do so. It's why they were their fathers main target most of the time, haha

Akira could've easily been there the longest out of my characters, probably heard there was food and was like "I'm in!" Honestly, probably joined a little after Garvin... Late October/early November?

Letif. I dunno, Letif probably stumbled in February or something (after Kody). That would work for the Sanctuary timeline.

And Briar's hard because I have zero idea when they would have left Viar's gang. In this timeline, it's probably shortly after Moiraine's death, if I switch around ages a little. Orrrr I could have them leave after something that hasn't actually been discussed in other timelines yet because the whole rebellion thing switched things up in AFCS and in both T8P it wouldn't have happened yet anyway... That would work. Okay, let's go with Briar joining about 2 or 3 months ago. :)

Oh, no, the games aren't known at all

Remember how each member has to manage to bring back a certain amount of money, right?

And how most of these people are people that wouldn't have anywhere else to go? Pretty much?

Yeah, uhhh... Giles. Would have somewhere else to go. Actually, before Jusepe and he left to travel, Giles had an apartment and a job. He was actually doing rather well. He literally decided to start doing all this just so it'd be easier to abuse people. He's not a good person at all.

Anyways, how he gets money is through the 'games'

Usually, it's just people outside of the group, he uses his ability (Distance) to make it really easy to steal their money and do... Pretty much whatever he wants to them.

So. Once a month though. He does it to someone in the group instead. So. People prone to what his ability does are the people more likely for him to choose. Or people that aren't likely to fight back because Giles isn't actually all that strong.

The reason why Zakai would be safe is because I'm assuming it'd be hard to get Zakai alone, or that Vida would end up finding out one way or another, and Giles doesn't want to deal with that.

Though Briar probably will be too, at least at the beginning (thank Viar for that one-)

Akira, less so, mostly because of their power

Mostly Garvin and Jusepe though, since Aries has a good bit of muscle that Giles isn't too sure about.
