Kitchen Staff x Noble

Someone in the kitchen saves a noble from being poisoned because they catch the poisoner in the act. They are unexpectedly spotlighted for their heroism. The noble is curious about the person realizing that they actually prepare all of their food, and that it is really good and they are really skilled. The kitchen staff think the noble is a bit pompous and whiny after having to serve their whim and cravings for so long. They really encourage everyone to be self-sacrificial and hardworking. The nobles have to sacrifice their comfort and be brave in battle, while the commoners have to be prepared to give up comforts to supply the army and be willing to work constantly to supply everyone.

World Building

The kingdom is very warlike, and they hold warriors in high esteem. The nobility are meant to serve and protect the commoners. They are currently at war, and the commoners have to be more disciplined and self-sacrificial than the nobility. There is a lot of pressure and expectations on the farmers to produce enough food to support everyone and the increased needs of the army. The commoners are being rationed food, and suffer greatly as they barely make enough food as is to make ends meet.
