Name: Amell Soar Tenebris Age: 18 Gender: Male Role: Demon Rank: Peasant Appearance: He is 6'5" with ashy colored hair falling over his eyes. His eyes are a striking light gray color, almost glowing when they catch the light. His nails are thick, dark at the beds, fading into lighter gray at the slightly pointed ends, almost claw like. He has lightly tanned skin melding into big dark black and ash colored dragon-like wings. His horns match his wings, circling his head like a crown. Over all he has a very regal aura, despite being hated for being a demon. He has the slightest hint of an almost german accent, adding to his foreign nature. For a weapon he only carries a simple dagger, as he is not much of a fighter. He dresses himself in a simple linen tunic which he covers with a leather tabbard, and basic gray-brown canvas pants, which are adorned with many various pouches, pockets, and such. He perfers to go barefoot most of the time, but will wear below the calf boots if needed. Personality: He avoids most people, preferring to be alone. He does not fit in with the other demons, and doesn't belong with the angels. He is soft spoken, and gentle when relaxed, but around others he is rough and rude. His parents raised him the best they could, but he left, feeling different, to live on his own at 16. He has a complex mind, hard to understand, and is often lost in deep though. |

He sat in the tall grasses at the edge of the woods, listening to the bird songs. A light breeze played with his overgrown hair, and filled his wings like sails, which were outstretched behind him to catch the warming rays of the morning sun. He inhaled the fresh air, as a moth landed on his horns, which were catching the light, appearing almost as if a halo... If only... The moth flew off, goin to find a place to rest untill the night called it forth, to dance in the light of the moon. Amell rubbed his stomach, knowing it was probably time to head back inside to make a meal. It was a short walk to his small house on the edge of town, it wasn't much, but it was home to him. Two years now had he lived in that house, but he made it his. Every squeaky floorboard, and the scratches on the walls he knew already. As he opened the front door, he saw his Mother and Father sitting at his table. "Mother...? Father?? What are you doing here...? I havn't seen you in..." "Amell..." Began his mother. "We have news." "Take a seat." His father said. He carefully pulled out another chair and sat down at his small table in the kitchen. "Wh-what is it?" "This will be good for you" His father stated. "We have reached out to a family of angels, they are fairly well off, and have a nice duaghter. I think it's time you stop living alone. If anyone is to mend the bonds between the races it's you, Amell..." His mother said softly. Amell sat there staring blankly. "y-your joking." His father stood. "Face it son, you don't belong here. It's time you do something that will actually help our kind." "I-I refuse." "It's already been arranged." Amell stood, his mother sitting quietly. "Yeah well how the hell do you think you can make me." He turned quickly and walked out the door, slamming it behind him. It didn't matter if he told them to get out of his house, the society was set upin a way that parent remained in control of their children until they were either fully fleged or married, and no one saw him as either. He ran off to the woods, flying in short bursts as his parents silently left to return to their own home furthar in town. |

Annika sighed as she walks toward her house her wing glistening in the sun light as she made her way before hearing her mother " Annika get over here now" her mother said Annika sighed before rushed over and said "what's wrong now " " you getting married to a devil son, and you won't argue about it " her father said in a angry tone Annika said "but dad they care only body themselves " as she looks at him before walking to the door before sighing and said " why me can one of the girls in the town work" Dad said " do it Annika it was already planned so end of discussion " Annika sighed and slams the door before running into the woods and Flys off her wing spreading out as she takes off before flying to her favorite spot which was a waterfall in the shade Annika grumbles to herself " why a devil I'll be happy if it was a human or angel but why them they are greedy and think only by themselves " as she sighed Before her brother comes and said "hey you okay i heard what is going on i won't want to get married to a devil" Annika said " I know but it might be the only way out of my home at least away from them " as she sighed then smiles a little at him Brother hugs her and said " you be safe hear me I don't want to lose you too" Annika hugs him back and laughs before saying " Don't worry I'll make sure I keep myself safe I know how to fight Don worry about me " |

Amell angrily wanderes through the woods, not paying attention to where he's going. before he knew it he had crossed into angel territory. He kicked a rock right into a stream. According to the sound of falling water, he could only assume it was downstream from a waterfall. His already very tall form looked even more ominous as he flared his wings in anger, grumbling to himself. "Stupid freaking kingdoms, why can't they just leave us alone. It's MY life." He clawed a tree, leaving long deep scratch marks. He really was making quite the ruckus, not paying attention to his surroundings, very abnormal to his personality. |

Amell froze. He heard faint... singing? Some where in the distance, yes. It was coming from the same direction as the aound of the waterfall. He silently crept furthar upstream. He realized he might have made a big mistake, he did't even know which side of the border he was on anymore, but he wasn't about to turn back. Eventually he came to a spot he could peer through the trees, and there he saw her. He had never seen an angel before, and this made his blood run cold. He held his breath as shivers were sent down his spine from pure utter fear, he needed to turn back, but he was afraid of making a sound. As he started to silently shrink back, curiosity got the better of him. He held his position, studying this angel. She wasn't exactly ugly... no. Not ugly. Peering closer, she seemed forlorn. He wondered why she would even be in these woods. They're untuached for the most part, left to themselves as far as Amell knew. That's why he loved them so much, it was somewhere to be alone. Perhaps angels are different? He didn't know. |

Annika sighed before flicking her wings she never like to stay home for to long and she always liked being alone at least she had it for now before she has to get married but she need to injoy the memory at least Annika looks around before looking at the woods and sighed she knew devils won't dare cross their land only to meet and talk about the wedding but she was going to make sure there was no wedding that was going to happen Annika sighed then said " I need your help mom ever since dad remarried it feels like he forgot about you " as she sighed then looks around again |

He could barely hear the words coming from her mouth, he took a step forward, forgetting to be stealthy. he stood up a little more, not quite to his full hight, but not exactly hidden. He leaned in to hear her better, feeling sympathy for this angel. He furrowed his brow, how dare he feel sorrow for this disgusting creature, abomanation that made his life so miserable, his thought went on, and as he got more and more distracted, he got more and more visible, barely watching her line of sight now. |
