"I object to as a Brecken going,he is young,he has family and friends to miss him if he does die and he has memories to remember and make. I will go for only a few will mourn me and I have no memories to make or remember." Opal firmly said in wolf. She looked everyone in the eye so they knew she was serious. She could tell the young wolf,Brecken didn't want to die for he was at unease.

Killjoy blinked at Opal.

"No, I will miss you if anything happens!" Killjoy looked at her sadly. Who knew that he would like an owl like he did this one.

Night Hawk came out of his camp, a few hunters on his heels. He hadn't got word from Killjoy yet about the pup that they sent down to the forest. He flicked his ears at the hunters, and they split up to in pairs to go hunt. Night trotted down the slope from camp and was halfway to Killjoy's territory when he froze. A scent washed over him. A group of wolves, no doubt Killjoy's. He turned his head before following it. As the sky seemed to darken, he growled as Killjoy's scent joined in. He had entered his friends territory not too long ago but they seemed to be heading towards. . .

Night stopped before flattening his ears. The scent headed to Trap Light forest. The small section of the mountain was covered in dark mists that was hard to see in. The animals lurking in there were worse. Adapt to the darkness, coyotes, panthers and one of the apex predators of the mountain. Jaguars. Slightly bigger than wolves, their jaw bite could crush bones. He had ordered his pack to stay out of that section of the forest. Especially what happened to the wolves that had lived in it. He scratched into a tree before pulling up some garlic, rubbing it into his fur. This would make it easy to get back and he rubbed his now stenched fur on the tree before following the trail.

His paws crunched on the leaves before the scent got strongest and he could hear voices arguing. He paused before jumping onto a fallen log. He could make out Killjoy barely, Brecken, a snowy owl, Illusion, Gwen, and a few others. He huffed before jumping down to join them, flicking an ear warily. "What in the blazes are you doing here? We keep this forest off limits for a reason you know." He said quietly, looking behind him before focusing his attention on Killjoy.

Killjoy spun around, teeth bared. He calmed down when he saw it was just Night Hawk. He let out a big heavy sigh.

"I"m not sure. That's what I was trying to figure out. I remember my father scolding me for coming to close to this as a pup." He eyed it.

"What is it?" Brecken piped up. Brecken looked terrified, and his small body was shaking. He must have been trying really hard not to run off then and there.

Night Hawk flicked an ear as Killjoy replied, "I'm not sure. That's what I was trying to figure out. I remember my father scolding me for coming too close to this as a pup." Brecken spoke up, looking terrified, "What is it?" Night flattened his ears before saying, "We are in Trap Light forest. That den used to be another pack's camp until a couple years ago when we were pups." He nodded to the den and the corpses, "That there is a jaguar den now. If I had to take a guess, I would think there is at least 4 down there now. Considering we haven't heard anything, it could mean two things. The family is out hunting or they are sleeping. We better hope their sleeping or we are about to become its prey." Night said, frowning at the hole.

Opal looked at Killjoy and smiled. She replied to him by that and hope he knew she appreciated it. She thought no one would miss her in this group except for Artemis maybe. Suddenly Opal nearly did her blood-curling scream as a wolf leap for out of no where. She spoke up "Hi There Nighthawk, Let me go check" With that she flew off she scanned the area through the fog and squinted Until she saw 3 Jaguars , all lean but muscular heading back to the den, the group of wolves where heading for. She dived bombed back I to the group and landed heavily onto Artemis's Shoulder. She gasped for breathe and said quickly" 3 . Are. Heading. Here. Now. The other Jaguar is not there." Her little chest heaved in and out desperately tried to breathe normally again until she did. She looked at the cave entrance as there was a little Jaguar face. She's gasped and quickly added "There is a cub by the way in the den,let's go." She set off and flew in a circle around the group.

Killjoy's eyes shot around to the sound of twigs snapping.

"Run!" He barked, before taking off. He stopped a bit away, waiting for his pack members, and friends to catch up. He wasn't going to leave them behind.

|Illusion|

Illusion was deep in though. While the gears in his head were turning he barely heard "Run!" But it didn't get him out of his daze. He was too busy daydreaming to care.

|Brecken|

Brecken lurched forward, his legs already starting to pick up the pace. He streched out in his running, that could be compared to a grey hound's running form. His long legs carried his far away, before skidding to a stop. He looked down at the ravine, and saw Tornado, and Cloudy.

"Pups, what are you doing here?" He barked at them.

"We were saying hi to Sky!" Brecken picked up Tornado, and Cloudy followed behind him.

When he stepped into the den, Marbled was still asleep. He laid the sleeping pup next to her, and went outside to sit on the hillside, waiting for his packmates.

When the owl came back down in a panic, Killjoy bolted but waited for the others to catch up. Artemis was hesitating and he nudged her, "Follow Killjoy. Now!" Illusion seemed to be deep in thought but there was no time now. Night rammed into the male, growling, "Run! Straight back to the meadow, now!" A few of the others were not moving and he nudged each of them before calling to Killjoy, "Get your pack out of here! I'll take care of Gold." He ran to the male's side before helping him in the direction of the meadow. If all went well, the jaguars wouldn't know that they were there at all.
