Opossums look kind of like rats and are pretty large, sort of cat-sized

We have a few that hang around in our bushes and my dog is always obsessed with marking over their scent XD

Cat sized rats are real. When I was in middle school I went into a haunted abandoned house in the neighborhood and there were some ungodly sized rats inside
