Name: Akeyo ("Ah-kee-yo", meaning "one who was born during the harvest")

Age: Around 30 years of age. Akeyo is a powerful, mature adult female.

Gender: Female/feminine

Mate?: Her mate was tragically killed by human poachers, and she was forced to flee. They never recovered or found his body. She grieved for a long time, and continues to do so, but she has come to terms with his passing.

Offspring?: She has raised a couple of calves over the course of her lifetime. But they have grown up and gone their own way. (feel free to ask if you want to be her calf)

Looks like: Akeyo is a massive, powerful and truly stunning creature, standing at a towering 10.5 feet tall, weighing 3 tons easily. Her skin is rough, thick and wrinkled, making it hard for even lions' claws or hyenas teeth to tear through. Even so, she has her fair share of scars marring her dusty grey flank. Her ears are huge, rounded and torn at the edges, fanning out to the sides of her head when she is hot, angry or alert. Her large, muscular trunk is as long as a lion's whole body, able to pick up small, fragile things with the utmost care as well as crush flesh and bone. Her eyes are a deep amber brown, warm but sharp and full of intelligence. She is truly an incredible sight as she walks across the savannah, standing with the proud, dignified stance of a creature who has survived many trials and gotten through it with her head held high. She is a truly majestic creature and her presence commands respect from all animals she encounters.

Personality: Akeyo has earned a reputation as a highly skilled healer, healing injuries for both lions and hyenas alike. She finds the conflict between them silly and meaningless, all striving to prove that they are the stronger species. She is a very wise individual, with a good deal of compassion and a warm heart for all who are injured or sick. However this is balanced with a discerning nature and a sharp, observant mind. She will not be taken advantage of or tricked by some foolish predator thinking they can outsmart the big dumb elephant. Akeyo is a very blunt, sharp-tongued individual and will call situations as she sees them. She has a strong sense of intuition and if she thinks she's being played she won't hesitate to call the player out. She rarely loses her temper but if someone is threatening her child or her family she will raise the dead from their graves with her trumpeting rage. You don't want to see an elephant angry, especially when it comes to her herd/family.

Overall she has a soft spot in her heart for little ones, so full of life and promise, no matter what species they are. As powerful as she is she can also be incredibly gentle and tender.

Namahrii is a rich, sandy-red colored lion. She is darkest on her back, around the tips of her ears, and on the ridge and tip of her tail. The rest of her main body is a sandy color, which melts into a cream colored underbelly and chest. She carries herself with a vast amount of dignity, walking with her head held high and her shoulders even with her haunches. She could put one in their place with just a stare, and enjoys holding a high rank in command. Her eyes are a golden yellow, and are highly relfective of any light that graces them. Her nose and paw pads are a hue comparable to red brick. She is lean, and evenly muscled, with a large gash of a scar that drags from the top of her right shoulder down to her right elbow.

Namahrii is a bit of a fire-cracker. She is easily aggitated and not afraid to tell others to sit down and shut up. She speaks in formal patterns, rarely caught speaking casually. As stated before, she enjoys control, and will attempt to micro-manage all in her pride, even the cubs. She has no sense of humor, except when she is feeling flirtatious. Even then her humor is dark, and she will use it to make others feel infereior or uncomfortable. She believes in using scare tactics and shows of force and power to maintian rankings. If you gain her trust she will protect you with her life, but know she will see you as something that belongs to her rather than an equal.
