When Silverback reached the end of his pup years, his parents sent him away from their territory to find a new life for himself. He lived a good year on a patch of forest but was driven out by a pair of rival coyotes. Now Silverback has found a new piece of land, one he hopes would be perfect for him...

Silverback is a coyote with beige facial and body fur. He has a black nose, and amber eyes. His legs are a slightly darker shade than his body. He is most famous for his grizzled gray fur on his back that runs from the back of his ears and tail all the way to his tail which is also the same color.

Silverback has learned to toughen up in the midst of challenges and be ready for the worst of things. After his previous banishments, he has been conditioned to never trust anyone. He prefers to shy away from other predators and strangers whom he does not know. Even though he has wanted a mate for some time, his tendencies to lose territory have made him unfavorable. He thinks the wolves are just a nuisance and that invading their land and stealing their food would be relatively easy.

Silverback is a good hunter and a fighter if need be. He is also very nimble and agile, possesses a great sense of smell, along with good senses of sight and hearing. Having been exploring through different places, the coyote is very resourceful and can eat almost anything to survive wether it'd be rotting carrion or the most sour of berries. Silverback is very crafty and clever and has learned how to create basic baits and traps to catch prey. He has enough intelligence to know his common sense and how to pick fights with the competition. He is also a fast learner and has good memory.

Even though he can land a good blow or two, Silverback often prefers to intimidate others to submission. If that does not work, he usually flees the scene, hoping that his enemy will forget about him. He is not the strongest physically so a few critical hits can severely injure him. He is not good with words or other animals in general. His sole want to establish a good territory and make his life better can be exploited.
