Appearance? The genes that are notticeable in Avani are primarily crow, cougar, and red fox. There are a whole lot of other genes in her body, far to many to name, but none of the others are as dominant. Avani's head is shaped like a mountain lion, but with large fox ears. Her head is redder than the rest of her body, just a few shades darker than the color that can only be described as fire.
Avani's eyes are goldish-brown, with slit-like pupils, leaning towards her bird and reptile genes. Brownish-black veins darken Avani's eyes, but they still shine with intelligence.
Most of Avani's body is dark brown, the shade of cougar-tan mixed with crow black. Her basic body structure is that of a large wildcat, but her fur shines with that crow-like gloss. At her elbows and knees (for lack of better terms), Avani has dark brown feather tuffs. These tuffs are just like the tip of her long tail. Her tail is thin, lighter gold than the rest of her body besides the feathered tuff. Avani's paws are large, with soft pads to aid in her stealth and sharp retractable claws.
The darkest part of Avani's body are her wings. They fade from the brown of her body to pure black. Her wings are large, sprouting from just behind her shoulder blades, almost as large as she is. Her feathers have the same gloss as the rest of her body, making her wings seem darker than they really are.
Personality? Avani has the solitary predator personality. She prefers to be alone, and might get aggressive if someone tries to get to close. She is very good in the arena, both because of her predator traits and determination.
Avani enjoys the night, when her eyesight is the best. She finds artificial light to be too harsh, and tends to sleep during the day. This is bad news for Avani's trainer, since Avani blends in well with the night.
Avani is patient, which makes her dangerous. Avani is smart, and is known to lay traps and wait for the right moment to strike. When she does strike, she does so without remorse.
Avani loves puzzles, and every now and then, might be seen using a tool to help her get a treat. However, this is rare, given that Avani doesn't have thumbs to manipulate tools with. Avani is expeccially fond of pulling cords to open things.
Avani, being both cat and bird, hates water. She doesn't even like the rain, and actively avoids all sorts of water.
Avani is very confident and sure of herself, almost too much so. Avani doesn't trust anyone else, and blames others for her own mistakes.
To anyone forced to be near Avani, watch out. She won't actively attack you, unless you attack first or push too many of her buttons. Then, all bets are off.

Age? 32
Personality? Tereya, like her project, is a very determined person. She will do whatever it takes to impress her superiors. Even if it means hurting her project. It didn't have feelings, it was simply a science experiment.
Unlike Tereya's project, Tereya is very social. She cares what other people think, and is easily angered when her project doesn't impress. She made the ultimate hunting machine, she should get the respect and admiration she deserves.
Besides her treatment of her project, Tereya is a rather kind, cheerful person. She is known to give a helping hand when needed, and is happy for others success, so long as she is making progress herself.
Look? Tereya is neither overly pretty nor hopelessly ugly. Tereya is a little ball of energy, standing at only 4'9". She is moderately tan, with freckles lining her nose and cheekbones.
Tereya is a brunette, with natural highlights making her hair look thicker than it is. Tereya's hair is actually very thin and requires constant brushing to keep it straight. It hangs down to the small of her back, though Tereya would like it to grow longer.
Tereya's eyes are bright moss green, with flecks of brown toning down the color. The flecks are virtually unnoticeable unless one is very close to Tereya
