Colette had felt extremely bad when she saw his expression, but it quickly melted away as he pulled her in by the waist. Her hand found its way into his hair, playing with it gently. She knew he needed the comfort and she truly didn't mind giving it to him. Physical affection was her main love language. Her eyes widened ever so slightly as she heard his words, though barely. "I'm glad you feel like that.." she murmured, a pleasant chill running down her spine as he caressed her sides. "I believe I'll be just fine as well," she admitted, her cheeks turning pink with a bit of blush.

Jace smiled grasping her thighs and picking her up. Gently he carried her down to the fort crawling in with her. He held her tightly as he wrapped his arms around her cherishing her. His head nuzzled into her shoulder fondly caressing her waist in a snuggle. He melted into her acting as soft as a baby.

Colette was very surprised when she was picked up, causing her to hold onto him firmly. She had a lot of emotions going through her, mainly confusion. She was so against this in the beginning, but now she reveled in the feeling of his arms around her. She held him sweetly, simply enjoying the tender moment. "This is nice," she murmured, a small smile on her face.

Jace felt crying into her arms for reasons he didn't want to admit but he kept himself from crying. His arms wrapped around her tighter as he replied in a shaky voice, "Mhm, I think its nice to.." He somewhat mumbled as he could feel blush tinting his face brightly. Lovingly he sat up grabbing the teddy bear and laying it back down in between them.

It felt so odd for things to still be happening as they were, but Colette did her best to push those feelings away. She'd become concerned about Jace, hearing the way his voice trembled. "Are you alright?" She asked, looking over at him. She didn't know if it was something she'd be able to fix or not, but it she could, she would love to make things better.

Jace gave a weary smile as his eyes slowly started to look normal again, "I'm fine, the after affect really gets to me.." He mention as he held her closely. "How about I take you shopping? It's no way to apologize but we could look at wedding dresses while were shopping. He politely mentioned as he felt the urge to spoil her. "I don't have much work to finish anyways." Soothingly he added.

Colette seemed to perk up at the sound of shopping, especially for wedding dresses. "Really? I would really love that.." she said softly, a smile appearing on her face. The changing of emotions threatened to give her whiplash, but Colette was very willing to work things out. After all, this was someone she'd be spending the rest of her life with

Jace smile softly at Colette, "Go freshen up then meet me in the car." He offered before crawling out the fort and disappearing into his room. Softly he wiped the dried tears from his eyes. They were still very red underneath, quickly he spritz some more cologne on. He looked at himself in the mirror feeling a bit ashamed, was he really making this up to her with shopping? Sighing he left the room going down the stairs. With a smile he shook the feeling away of regret and finally managed to lighten up. He sat down in the driver's seat patiently waiting for Colette.
