Crew walked down the street, a look of exhaustion painted across his features. He had been up since 3:30 AM, and the day had already felet like it was dragging on. What could get worse? He walked inside a coffee shop, and immediately made himself calm down. These people were just trying to do their jobs, and he didn't need to make their lives anymore difficult just because he was upset and in a rush. He ordered his usual latte, and waited patiently for them to finish up, then politely thanked the barista.

As he walked outside, he frowned as he looked up at the sky. It looked aand smelled like rain. His shoulders slumped, he still had a long walk to get back to his father's office, where he was supposed to have been twenty minutes ago. He paused at a street corner, pulling out his phone to make a call.

Lillian tried to quiet the kitten down. "Shh.. Its ok.. Be quiet.." She whispered to it in her hoarse and weak voice. Trembling with weakness. But the kitten meows louder, loud enough to be heard outside of the ally, which is what she is afraid of, since she has been.. Taken advantage of. Amongst other things while she has been out here. For days. All alone except for the meowing kitten in her arms. She hasn't eaten or drunken anything in days.
